@TheJGG My only guess could be maybe their contracts were up and they thought they were going to move on, only to be resigned again. Only a guess, I'm only a fan, not someone who's done voice over stuff.
@reporterdavid Cool, surprisingly never heard of the movie before. Your profile says Netherlands, so I'm guessing the voice work you did was in that dub of it? It's cool to see someone doing voice work in animated movies here.
I'm surprised I haven't heard of this movie since I like family friendly animated movies (Trolls series being my favorite). Last Sony one I saw I think was Mitchell's vs. the Machines, before that Angry Birds 2.

@Sunsy oh its fun. its greatly done. if you love British comedy its fun....not just saying it becouse I am in it. Aardman can deliver such nice handwork. And yes, the dub was Dutch
Have a nice day. Voiceactor: The Pirates! (Sony/Aardman 2012) - The Passion: A Brickfilm (Neema 2019) - The Torchlighters: The Story of John Newton (Vision Video 2022) - [NEW] Minno's Laugh and Grow Bible (Minno - 2024)
Blah work week has been blah. Brain done. Sentences hard. Play Professor Layton after internet rounds and burn out brain more.
@tekoii First, my apologies if you've messaged me back on Steam; I haven't been on my laptop much and don't often have Steam open. It also isn't my main platform of choice right now; I mainly use it for the occasional freebie I'm interested in, or else to flesh out some one-offs that aren't on Nintendo platforms. I need a better PC for some of the beefier games though. XD
For better and for worse, I like food. I'm not a picky person, though I do try to be selective with less healthy foods lol. I'm definitely keeping a close eye on 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim for the time being; I just hope Atlus doesn't pull the "Download half the game" stuff if there's a physical release. As with food, I also try to be pickier about what games I pick up, particularly if they're longer; there's only so many hours in the day after all! XD
@BruceCM I really like the 5a so far! I did have an oddity occur earlier that also occurred on my older phone, where it didn't log I had a missed call that went straight to voicemail; none of my settings should've caused that, though it was silent (though not on DnD) at the time since I was at work; the call should've still patched through though. I'll monitor it; I had a similar issue on my previous phone, and I'm beginning to suspect the SIM card. If my math's right, the SIM is about half a decade old.
@Tyranexx Ah yeah that does make sense, planting another after cutting one down. Thanks! Good to know you got to do a direct transfer to your new phone, I may need to upgrade to a newer one later on.
@tekoii I know you can join rooms that your friends have made in MK8D, I've joined yours before. I had a friend of mine join my worldwide races too.
@Sunsy You're good, no worries. Ah yeah I remember Yoshi, that puzzle game, that was one of the NES games Nintendo gave to their 3DS ambassadors a decade ago. I played it for a bit, didn't really hold my attention as long as stuff like Tetris and Panel de Pon. I remember reading about it on the Super Game Boy player's guide too.
Yeah there's a Hallmark store in that mall that's like 10 minutes away from where I live, that's where I got some of those Nintendo-themed ornaments. That's cool you have a small Christmas tree in your bedroom, the closest thing I have in comparison is that Christmas-themed cherry tree.
Yeah, Pinocchio's a very good movie for sure. I have a lot of nostalgia for it and I still have that VHS copy somewhere. I had a Jiminy Cricket plush as a kid, too. Ah yeah that's pretty good thinking on your part, from what I remember Disney likes to sell certain prints of their physical copies of movies for a year or so, give or take. They've been doing that since the VHS days. I have a blu-ray copy of Beauty and the Beast, which is the 25th anniversary edition. Love that movie.

Ask if you want to be Switch friends with me, but I'd like to know you first. Thanks! ❤️
@Snatcher@Sunsy Both pragmatic choices but 'tis but a small issue. I'm quite excited for this movie after seeing the new poster, it looks like a really fun ride. My body is ready.
@Tyranexx I haven't quite played 13 Sentinels but I intend to get it on Switch (should it run good of course). I recommend it anyway. I love the art style and I think the gameplay and story would appeal greatly to me. Plus the game in English has a pretty super voice cast (even if I imagine the voices'll be extremely similar to games like Fire Emblem).
I've had that happen a few times over the years, @Tyranexx .... On several different phones & at least 2 different SIM cards, so not sure quite what causes it but seems likely to be to do with the network
Maybe someone here knows more about that?

@MarioLover92 Ahh okay, so you can have a party of sorts and do some worldwide races. Oh man, if I start it up on the channel, I'll let you know, and if you're down we can party up. Both races and battles would be fun.
@Tyranexx Oh okay </3. I see how it is now. LOL. jkjk. All good, I understand ! Ahh that's good that you're mindful on that junk food though. Also, seriously. I hope that 13 Sentinels is all on a cart like cmon now lol. Nice, yea I align with you there.. I'm definitely more picky with that now.
@reporterdavid Cool, will make note to watch it one day. I do like animated moves. I haven't seen too much Aardman work, but I do know Shaun the Sheep (the old Nintendo Video on 3DS short stands out to me). Always had a distinct art style.
@MarioLover92 Yeah, I got that game a very long time ago on Game Boy, I think it was my second game after Super Mario Land. Use to play it a lot. I think I remember buying it because Yoshi looked cute on the box. Still loved playing it.
That's cool, I also have two within driving range, one that's a standalone store, and one in a mall. Last time I was in one, I was looking for Trolls Itty Bittys. They're like cute little plushies of popular characters. I haven't been in one in a while. The Trolls and Sonic ornaments were just ordered online. Yeah, having a little tree something I've been doing for years, makes a great night light too.
That's cool, I use to have a Jiminy Cricket plush, however, I still have my Pinocchio plush from my childhood. Always stood out from my other plushies as Pinoccho had round arms and legs, and actual doll hair, despite being a plushie. I don't have most of my VHS tapes anymore save for a few (example, the Sonic OVA). I have most of the classic Disney movies rebought on Blu-Ray, due to them including both the Blu-Ray and DVD versions. I consider 101 Dalmations the lucky one as I got that literally a day before it was vaulted (when the vault existed). That was also a childhood favorite.
@TheJGG Does look like a fun time, I was getting Sky Chase vibes out from the poster alone.
@tekoii Already have the stream on. A friend and I are watching and having voice chat as it has become our tradition. We're both looking forward to the Sonic movie. Even had dinner extra early just to be able to put it on on time.
I have been on and off, though via Super Mario All-Stars on SNES Online and on 3DS. May play Apex a bit more as my favorite mode Winter Express is back. It's kind of like king of the hill, except you're taking control of a festive train. First year playing it on Switch, I played the mode on PC in previous years.

Went shopping for a new winter coat today. Went to a ski shop, Marmot store, Burton store, North Face store, REI, Nordstom.... all to come home and order from Amazon. Kinda funny.
My sincerest condolences to Masayuki Uemura, the man who invented the Famicom. One of my favourite quotes from the man was when he pitched the NES Zapper to Nintendo executives, saying "Americans liked guns,". He was a driving force behind the SNES as well, and may his genius be remembered.
