Have a nice day. Voiceactor: The Pirates! (Sony/Aardman 2012) - The Passion: A Brickfilm (Neema 2019) - The Torchlighters: The Story of John Newton (Vision Video 2022) - [NEW] Minno's Laugh and Grow Bible (Minno - 2024)
I worked at QVC one summer during college (Yes, that shopping channel). That was long ago, but back then, a UPS hub was down the road, and working at UPS had a very positive reputation. That was the pre-amazon age, though. I don't now what it's like this decade.
Also, this morning I scored a 𝕎ℍ𝕀𝕋𝔼 𝕊𝕎𝕀𝕋ℂℍ 𝕆𝕃𝔼𝔻 at Target!🌈🎄(Christmas gift for my nieces). If you go to target at opening, that's the time to look. Even if the glass Switch case is empty, you should ask the electronics employee if they have any stock. Both times I went, the employee was helpful. The first time, the empoyee said they expect more stock Dec 7 or 8. Today when I went, the employee confirmed they didn't have stock, but using their handheld device, they told me stock in surrounding stores. A few stores had one. But one store 15 miles away had 9 OLEDS. So, I went there. ...and got a white one (they only had white, but it's what I wanted)
...finally I can delete my browser bookmarks for nowinstock.net, best buy, amazon, target, store.nintendo.
@Snatcher@CactusMan well, I don't work as a driver so I don't know what it is like for them. (I work in the warehouse unloading and loading trucks.) Personally, I do like the job because they have tuition reimbursement which has really helped me significantly with paying for college. Not to mention it's much better than my previous customer service jobs lol. I do wish the breaks were a little longer because they're only 10 minutes. My shift goes through dinner time and since the break is so short it's impossible to eat anything lol.
@TheJGG Hang in there bud we're almost there! haha
...And so we've finally entered the time of year here where I look at the outdoor temp on my phone and characteristically say "Nope" to going outside. Which I definitely wouldn't do if not for work lol. (This also happens during the warmer months TBH, but not as frequently; I'm definitely WAY more heat-tolerant) Busy work week since part of it involves watching the live stream sessions of an educational conference. It's only today and tomorrow, but it's a LOT of screen time and a heck of a brain dump. X.X
@MarioLover92 You mean pine spears? XD Whether or not real vs. fake trees are economical depends on how they're handled IMO. Real trees are renewable if another is planted after their older fellow is cut down, and fallen trees, placed in the right spot, can make for a mini-habitat. Conversely, they can be moved long distances, which adds to emissions. Really depends lol. Box trees being better really depends on how long you own them, and they are at the end of the day made out of synthetic materials. (Please don't take this as a criticism; I'm only musing for my own benefit at this point....Again, long day lol. )
On the phone: Thanks! I think I have everything set up now. It was mostly painless since I was able to do a direct transfer from my old phone, but I still had to sign into several of my longstanding accounts on there, including for here; I figured it would port my login credentials over as well. /shrug Not a big deal. I'm still learning about a few of its quirks however.
@Zuljaras Dude, LOVE that Phantump/Trevenant card! They're two of my favorite ghost types...and grass types for that matter.
@BruceCM It's a Pixel 5a, straight from our Google overlords. I very nearly went with a Pixel 6, but a nice price drop coupled with acceptable specs made the mid-end option slightly more attractive. It's still an improvement over my old Moto X4.
Currently playing: Pokemon Scarlet DLC, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury (Switch)
@TheJGG Thank you Glad you liked it! Thanks for dropping by and leaving a comment too on my 200 sub special! For sure dude, I'm sure you'll also miss it over time. Ahh it is nice to explore a bit. What's DAW? I actually listened to that track as I responded to this. It's interesting and I'm sure fit the mood the game prolly set out for. Yea for sure, I am. I'm still doing it 2x a week till school starts ><;
@SunsyBowser: Why, thank you. My castle is glorious. smug expression And that @TheJGG guy makes some fire music, if I do say so myself.
@Tyranexx Yay! Another for team key-lime! I love food so much. I'm one of those.. If I didn't have this degree of self control I'd be outta shape XD. Nice.. sounds like I could go right into the latest game! Ohh right that's what it was called 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim.. Yea, that game looks pretty interesting. Also, that .Hack Sign Collection seems dope too. Though, these days with time so limited, I'm much more into shorter experiences so I can play more games (specially with the stream). Though the stream in a sense inspires me to clear some of my backlog, so that's a plus ^^!
@MarioLover92 No worries bud That'd be awesome, I'd stream the crap outta that with you guys XD. I was even thinking to do that with you on MK8D but.. do u kno if there's a way we can party and then play with other racers?
@Zuljaras well it's quick now that I can just kill everything with an infinite rocket launcher! My original playthrough was about 8 hours long.
I actually prefer 3. The way it handles the unlockable rewards makes it possible for anyone, even a filthy casual like me, to unlock everything, you just need to plan ahead. Not to mention that the "companion character" is able to use the same items and weapons you unlock, so it's a lot less stressing when you're forced to switch to them.
So in the end, I simply found it more fun to play and replay.
I wish they hadn't cancelled the DLC plans, the game was really cut short
@Eel Maybe they wanted to relocate resources to Village. A DLC would have been great
I guess you prefer the action setting more than the others because 3 is very action packed
Maybe it is against everyone's RE "religious" beliefs but I think I love Village more than any other game in the series. Perhaps it is equal to Resident Evil 1 HD Remaster
@Zuljaras I honestly find the recent games to be mostly equally actiony. Remake 3 does have a severe lack of puzzles though.
Yeah 8 is great too, I enjoyed that one a lot, and it uses the same reward system from Remake 3 too, so it's fun to replay and speedrun.
It does have the same problem as Remake 2 though, where at a certain point you get switched to a different character without an infinite magnum revolver and suddenly the Village of Shadows difficulty becomes... Difficult.
@Eel Changing the character? You mean Chris at the end of the game?
But I agree, I love playing with Wolfsbane (infinite ammo)! That way I enjoy the environments more And RE8 has the best environments of all games imho!
And the lack of puzzles is evident in RE3 because of the missing clock tower and the early puzzles as well.
I really wish they could have gave a RE3 original port in there as a reward bonus in there like they did with Medievil Remake.
@Eel Ah yes, that fight did not take equipment into consideration as well
As for the PS1 ports, I guess they do not care anymore as they are too old.
Now I am waiting to play as special agent Rose in some bizarre horror setting
My only with is to NOT repeat Resident Evil 6. I still can't fathom how bad of an experience it was with the exception of the first 2 chapters of Leon's campaign.
@Sunsy Oh I never heard of that game, thanks for telling me. So they're actually a third party company. I do know that Game Freak has also made Pulseman for the Genesis/Mega Drive, which I have on the Wii VC. It's a pretty good platformer with some awesome music.
Oh that's cool, I like how they're ice skating too. A lot of those ornaments I have are from Hallmark, particularly those character ornaments. Kinda want to get another one now.
@Sunsy I thought you'd like to know that today would have been Walt Disney's 120th birthday. That guy sure made my childhood magical with all those animated classics - happy birthday, Walt!
Apologies for the late response, got a bit busy over the past few days.
You're welcome, upon looking them up they did other games on other systems too recently. Though I still find it amusing that Yoshi on Game Boy was developed by them.
Same, most of the Disney related ones I have (minus Sofia's ornament that came with a DVD), the Sonic ones, Mario ones, a few My Little Pony ones, and the Trolls ones all are by Hallmark, or came from their store. Even picked up a few extra Trolls ones (just a regular Poppy, and smaller ones from blind bags) since I do have a little Christmas tree in my bedroom.
Definitely. Disney's original classics, I loved Pinocchio. I remember when the DVD came out, I bought two DVDs since I waited so long. Just to have in event it scratches due to that vault. Thankfully, I have it on Blu-Ray and digital now. That was always a childhood favorite.
