@Snatcher I get bored of Musou games easily but I really loved this one. I think that it's a really fun game, specially if you like BOTW. The gameplay felt deeper and more challenging than the average Warriors game, and I personally don't think that it runs as poorly as people say. Instead of 80+ characters with similar movesets like other Warriors games, you have about 20 with actual different gameplay and tons of content to enjoy, specially with the DLC. I usually don't pay full price for things, but I don't regret it doing it with this game.

If it's worth something, I got bored of the first Hyrule Warriors really fast, FE Warriors managed to entertain me just long enough to finish the story and this one is the only one that I have finished, completed most stuff and still revisit it.

@Snatcher I got Age of Calamity last Christmas, and enjoyed my time with it. It kind of made up for not getting Hyrule Warriors on Wii U and Switch for me, so it was my first experience with it.

Didn't play it as much, but that has more to do with other games for me rather than personal taste. I like the game.

Age of Calamity is a great game, I played it from start to finish with my brother last Christmas, and I’m currently slowly going through the dlc.

@Snatcher I loved the music the most from this game, and the characters play a lot better, but if you are not into warrior games, i can't see this game changing your opinion. The main missions are great, but most of the side missions have been borderline annoying to me with a few exceptions here and there. At the very least, i only recommend the Dlc if you really want more of the same stuff from the main game. Also, for the real frame issues you may want to try Coop!

@Solaine Well I played the demo, and liked it, I played it for an hour to see if I would get bored but, no I didn't, Also this will be my first warriors game, as I been meaning to try one out for a long time, I think it was me wanting to get DE back on the 3ds? never did that sadly.

Yup, I'm not into Warriors games and I still liked this one. I've tried the Dynasty, Samurai and the Gundam ones and none of those managed to grab my attention. It seems that this one Persona Strikers are among the best ones they have done and that feel more unique. Fire Emblem Warriors was decent, but I think that it was mostly because I like the characters and there were definitely some character clones there.

@Snatcher If its your first, then by all means go for it. It was my fifth and maybe i just got tired of the genre personally. I remember how much i used to love dynasty warriors 3 and hyrule warriors later on. The former is almost unplayable by me now, but it was so fun

same with roguelikes actually. I just played quite a bit of those and somehow just ended up avoiding that genre altogether... anyone else here having enough of roguelikes, or is the genre still very much kicking for you?

@Solaine @Eel @roy130390 This game is sounding better My the second!

I'm half and half with rouglikes, its because I know how much time you need to pour into them to be good at them, it is why I just haven't gotten to dead cells yet, I have all these different games I want to play, and just not enough for deadcells.

@MarioLover92 While I understand that every theme park is different, if possible I suggest working your way up from milder coasters to more major ones. The steel variety are usually easier on the bones and joints unless they're very old; almost anything I've ridden by Bolliger and Mabillard (B&M), Gerstlauer, and Intamin has been pretty smooth . Woodies are fun too, but for design and physics reasons, they can shake quite a bit. Most parks are family-oriented, so something for just about everyone is the goal!

Yep, my Christmas stuff is officially up. I still need to do cards, but those can wait until next weekend.

@Snatcher Thanks! It's one I've used before, though I think it has been a couple of years. I don't take the credit though; the original creator is on Deviantart I believe.

I've been wanting Age of Calamity as well, but I've met my gaming budget for the month. I behaved fairly well with the sales, but I did cave for a couple of Switch eShop and Steam titles.

@BruceCM I've read the bump system in the earlier Ys titles is somewhat archaic by modern standards, but it's something I'm willing to try/put up with lol. It was hard to argue with $4.49 pre-tax for two arguably excellent classics.

AHhHhhH!! @tekoii, our teammate was kind of a drag. haha. I wanted to boot him. He was nice, but I wanted a stronger teammate. Did you see when he got assigned his Gold II rank placement at the end of a match?! LOL It was funny. When we started, he, had no rank.

I'm so glad we won that one sweaty game after the tourney.

Game two of the tournament, I thought we had it in the bag when it was us 3v2. Then they got the third player, and he had a Champ or Grand Champ tourney winner title on his banner.

Man, I don't think I got any good clips.
........Oh, I got this from that real sweaty game after the tournament. Snaked the ball from the other guy, scored with no boost left. - A little bit of street justice.

@Tyranexx Ah yeah I remember you giving me that kind of advice, which I do agree with. I didn't have too great of an experience with that coaster I've been on, but I will admit, it was a real long time ago, around 1999-ish. So yeah I will consider working my way up like that, with starting off with those milder coasters and seeing how I do. We haven't got our decorations up, but we do intend to soon!
