Man, ps5’s truly are impossible to get at this time, and it’s mostly due to stores having crappy policies more than anything. Tried to get one from Gamestop, but they only sell it to pro rewards members, and even then, it’s effectively a race to see who can spam the buy button faster. All other stores just say “check online”

@Tyranexx Oh that's cool that it was the first Disney park! And yeah, that's totally understandable. I talked to my mom about it and she said that back then, at least, you can control the speed of the spinning teacups. I'll definitely consider the two - again, thanks for the recommendations. That's cool that you like roller coasters. Perhaps I'll go on one again (the last time I've been on one was an insanely long time ago), if I'm daring enough. lol
@VoidofLight Yeah, it's really hard to get a PS5 right now. I remember reading that Sony said that the shortages will continue for quite a while. Maybe a year or so, IIRC.
@Anti-Matter I don't know...I did have the original Xbox but I didn't play it as much as the PS2 or GameCube. I don't have it anymore, it was either lost or broken, my memory is kinda foggy on that one. My advice to you is to make sure it's in good condition before you buy it.

I got some advice from my friend to check the motherboard condition especially the capacitor inside before purchasing OG XBOX machine as i heard the capacitor could leaked and messed up the motherboard on the bottom. It made me quite nervous as i have to make sure the hardware condition of OG XBOX is still fine even after more than 15 years old.
Oh, btw.
What do you think about Mario Party 4 - 7 ?
What is your review for each number series ? (Judging from board games aspect, mini games aspect, controlling, CPU A/I, unlockable methods, etc)
Bought Skyward Sword. First time playing Skyward. Man, all these chores before Link get's a sword. I don't miss this older style format of boring time wasting chores before getting a sword and some combat. Botw spoiled us with it's jumping in to exploring & combat.(assuming that's a given). Just got the sword, but I'm too tired to keep playing, shutting down the game for tonight.
I also got Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2 yesterday. After an hour or so, I'm still getting used to how the cars turn & drift, keep hitting the inside and outside of turns. Guess I need to give it more time. Anyway, there's plenty of Crash Team Racing/Mario Kart 8 influence. Since I'm burned out on MK8 and CTR, I welcome new content of NKR2.
@Anti-Matter I like Mario Party 4-7. MP6 is by far my favorite one, with its nice boards and the day-and-night mechanic that changes them up. The orbs (which were introduced in MP5 as capsules) were further refined in MP6 and 7 as well, so in terms of board gameplay at least, MP6 is the best one, I think. It doesn't have you go through a story mode to unlock the last board either, which is nice as Mario Party is best played as a multiplayer game. MP6's minigames are pretty good too, though I think 4 and 5 have the best minigames overall. I really like MP5's boards too. MP7 is pretty good overall, though I'm not a big fan of that Bowser Time mechanic that occurs every 5 turns.
You can't really go wrong with any of them, honestly. However I highly recommend having friends/family over, as once again, it's best played with multiple people. Much more fun that way.

Ah... I see the diversity on each Mario Party 4 - 7.
I have registered Mario Party 4 - 7 in my purchase book, will consider to buy in the future but i only can get the Japanese version as the cheapest option since the USA version are too expensive to buy.
Unfortunately, only me that still have interest with console / handhelds gaming as nobody in my house including my relatives have interest in console / handhelds gaming. My two two siblings only play PC MMO and handphone games, my young sister + Mom only play handphone games, my relatives have no interest in console / handhelds gaming at all. All of them are handphone gamers. I felt blessed to be only one people in my family member that still pursuing console and handhelds video games hobby.
Just little question for my curiosity.
Is that true in older Animal Crossing (Original, Wild World, City Folk) you cannot save the game anywhere, instead you have to go back to your house and sleep to save the game (and log out from the game) ?
@ogo79 - If I could only eat vanilla ice cream, I just wouldn’t eat ice cream. Vanilla ice cream is pie seasoning only. I guess those beers must have washed out your taste buds, I get that if I have a strong IPA or a big, fat stout. Yeah, Haagen Dazs is pricey, but the coconut pineapple is incredible as an occasional treat. The ice cream itself is creamy coconut flavor with a light sprinkling of chewy flake throughout, and then just the right amount of frozen pineapple chunks swirled in. It’s simple, but so good. Go on and get yourself some when you’re through with that CCP ice cream.
I’ve always been a big grape jelly guy as well, I love it on a warm, buttery biscuit. I’ll have to try it with sausage like that, I’ve always like maple syrup with my sausage, so I’m sure it’ll work for me.
man so true, vanilla ice cream is a pie seasoning only. well said. i almost looked for the coconut pineapple today and probably passed right by it actually. ive seen it there but didnt look yet. thats is because i still have all the other one over here still lol. i think youll like grape jelly biscuits with sausage. i put someone on that a year ago and they made it and got with me and said they actually liked it.

@Anti-Matter I see...just so you know, however, that the games might be a little difficult to figure out because all the text is in Japanese. Unless you know the language really well. You will want to know what all the items do and how the minigames are played, for example. There's no harm in asking others if they'd like to play, even if they primarily play on mobile devices. I've played Smash Bros. and Mario Kart with a couple of my cousins who primarily play on Xbox/PS4.

@MarioLover92
Well, i have basic knowledge of reading and writing Hiragana and Katakana with some understanding the meaning from the words so i have some benefits to able play some Japanese games.
Recently i have checked the gameplay videos of some Japanese version Gamecube games such as Mario Party 4 - 7, Starfox Assault, Wave Race Blue Storm, Rockman EXE, Bomberman Generations, etc. I found some Japanese Gamecube games have a lot of using Hiragana and Katakana words to make it easier to read for Japanese kids, sometimes there were some Kanji words with Furigana on the top.
Party games like Mario Party are quite easy to understand the gameplay even i don't really read the Japanese texts as action and pictures explain more than words. For Starfox Assault, there were some English words on it despite the texts and voiceover were Japanese but the description of each mission, the U/I, notification were in English words. I have Starfox Adventures USA version but when i checked the Japanese version from Youtube, the voiceover was in English but the texts was still Japanese.
I have ever offered my video games for multiplayer play to my family members but they didn't have any interest to try. It was so contrary when we were still young, my Mom and my siblings were used to be played NES and PS1 games despite we played pirated games with modchipped machines (PS1, PS2).
As we grew up, our interest have changed but i still keep my interest with console & handheds games.
My relatives (especially the elders) have zero interest with console / handhelds gaming as they didn't even consider those hobbies as a norm in their live. They still think adult playing video games are childish. They consider handphone gaming instead as their norm.
And that's why i always play alone.
@bimmy-lee Funnily I’ve found myself in the same boat, I’ve played through the first five dungeons of Skyward Sword in concerningly short time. About 19 hours, and I’ve just arrived at the Fire Sanctuary. Twilight Princess is another game that I could take my time with but ultimately didn’t. The dungeons in that game were absolutely solid through. While I miss conventional Zelda items that aren’t present in Breath of the Wild, like the Clawshot, a finite Bomb Bag, or even things like the Spinner (too much fun), I can see why it’s not implemented.
@BabyYoda71 While I’d agree that that’s an unpopular opinion I can absolutely see why you think that way. I similarly really disliked the original Legend of Zelda, it was way too vague even for NES game standards. I’d sooner play a good game of A Link to the Past, that was a turning point for the franchise, though it got overshadowed by Ocarina of Time. Much like the Persona 3/4 to the Persona 5, how it feels like between the two is a massive step but really it’s just a new coat of paint and otherwise.
I do hope you enjoy the rest of the games you have, because mark my words you will never want to play another Zelda game ever again after playing Breath of the Wild. I’m joking of course but the freedom you have is something the older games lack frustratingly!
@VoidofLight Nintendo always love turning sequels into… other stuff. They turned a Wind Waker sequel into TP after all. But Link’s Crossbow Training is not a Zelda game, it’s just a crossbow game with a Zelda coat of paint. Absolutely disgraceful!!!
@Snatcher I’ve flown out to Egypt. Lovely weather, (36 Celsius, better than what I’m used to) and while the hotel rooms aren’t the best the whole resort’s amazing. There’s always a nice sea breeze too…
August 8 Is when I need to rebuild my life around my job. 1pm to 10pm, 5 days a week. Got a lot to learn to do with closing and people management etc. Etc.
This is gonna suck 😭
Now Playing: Mario & Luigi Brothership, Sonic x Shadow Generations
Now Streaming: The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom
My Wii games library grew bigger quickly during this year, so does with my Wii U and Gamecube games. With more Wii games i got, I decided to separate Wii games alone in one room while i put Wii U and Gamecube games in different room.
Again, I'm really sorry about the delayed responses guys; especially those of you who have waited over two weeks for a reply back. I was going to update you guys on Wednesday (or yesterday even), but things got busy (again).
@Tyranexx
Glad to hear that its progressing well. It sucks that you have to wait until the fall though to have your windows. Hopefully, your windows are in good enough condition to wait until then.
Yeah, it defintely is nice that they put them up later. It does seem like Square Enix has been making some rather odd decisions recently, bsaed on what I've heard. I don't know if I told you this already, but I tend to just watch Nintendo E3 Direct, as I know that's where the majority of the games I would be interested in would be at. I try to watch the Directs live, but sometimes I'm not able to due to other things going on at that time.
Glad I clarify the stuff regarding the question game. Sometimes, I'm not the clearest when I communicate something, so I just wanted to make sure that everyone was on the same page.
Speaking of the question game, I actually asked a question recently but no one has responded to it yet. I'm not sure if you saw it, so I'll quote it here, so that you don't have to look back for it.
There’s a question I want to ask you guys. This technically is a two-part question, but they’re connected.
First, have you guys heard of the WarnerMedia-Discovery merger, and if so, what do you think of it?
I know it’s technically going to be called Warner Bros. Discovery if the merger happens, but I believe most people have heard of it as WarnerMedia-Discovery (or Discovery-WarnerMedia).
@Snatcher
Yeah, I feel like U.B. Funkeys was one of those games that you needed to know about during the time of its release, in order to know what it is, as I don't think it's that well known, and is probablt the least known Toys to Life games, AFAIK.
Also, don’t feel bad that you bought something from Pokémon Unite. I completely understand why people don’t like Tencent, but it sounds like you’ve made a really good effort of avoiding Tencent, based oh the posts you’ve made. Plus, Tencent is HUGE so we’ll all probably end up playing a game or buying something from them if they continue to grow.
I mean, it sounds like China is starting to crack on its “Big Tech” companies, and they already took a stab at Tencent, actually. The stab at Tencent is regarding Tencent having the majority of exclusive music rights in China, so it’s not about how big they’ve gotten, but it seems that China is taking a similar approach for cracking on “Big Tech” that the US is starting to take.
@ThanosReXXX
Yeah, I'm doing really late replies again. It does seem like things are starting to (emphasis on starting to) slow down for me, so hopefully I'll be able responses out more quickly, but we'll see. I’ve been busier this summer, than I would have liked, so it’s causing things to get pushed back unfortunately.
@Sunsy
Yeah, the first beta was bizarre. Just an FYI, they disabled the disconnect from the lobby if you go into the Home Menu in either Season 4 or 5, IIRC.
@MarioLover92
That sucks that your Smart TV struggles with streaming stuff. I guess it must not be Smart enough to handle Disney+, LOL. Hopefully, your Smart TV works else, and that your streaming box is working properly. I believe you’re right about the Studio Ghibli movies being on HBO Max, I remember hearing something like that when HBO Max launched.
I guess I missed a recent notification of yours, because when I checked my email notifications to see when you last tagged me, it showed that it was in January of this year. It looks like the system goofed, as I couldn’t find any notifications from you after that.
If that’s the time you’re talking about, then I’m sorry that I didn’t respond to you.
I now have the majority of my responses out now from the Awesome Chit-Chat Thread. I will respond to your message @TheJGG, it will just probably take a while, as is will mostly likely be a big response, and I’m attempting my messages from being too long.
Please give Ninjala a chance, guys. 🤔
As @Sunsy said,
Ninjala Gang FOR LIFE!
Also, if I don't respond to your post within a day (or two), don't worry, I'm not ignoring you. I'm going to be busy, though I will do my best to respond in a timely fashion.
I always kept that thing logged out. Only signed in sparingly. I never wanted any more than that. Well, now it seems an update made it so I cannot log out anymore.
Is it my phone or not? Really tired of these battery-depleting, parasitic, data-stalking, want-access-to-everything-on-my-phone jackwads. At Eel, I'd like to report that instagram is an a__hole. So, ridiculous. We need to breakup facebook/instgram yesterday.
