@Snatcher I never got a proper taste of peanut butter. I had a peanut butter cracker when I was little, but can’t remember the taste at all. As for sandwiches, I just eat normal ham or turkey ones, instead of peanut butter alternatives. I also can’t be in a room around peanut dust, since the air recirculates, and it would cause me to get hives.
It’s just.. honestly annoying to deal with my allergy, but I don’t know any different sadly.

@VoidofLight Hey now you have a good reason to have ham an turkey sandwiches, Your not messing out on to much, as I like PB but the I like the cold part of the jelly, So maybe you could try J&J? you might have already tho.

That's really sad, peanuts are like the best thing.
I have a cousin with nut allergy too. I remember one christmas when he was little, he went to his grandpa, who was eating nuts, and without warning, jabbed him with his epipen. (Thankfully, it was empty, so no medication was injected... I can't remember if it had a needle though, but he made him jump)
@Eel
yeah man those figures are rather interesting.
looking forward to more of those pics as you get them.
sauna man looks really cool

@Snatcher Never had a jelly and jelly sandwich, but I had jelly on toast before.
@Eel Luckily, I haven’t needed to use my epipen in the years I’ve had one, but I feel bad for your cousin honestly.
A common thing too, is that a lot of people keep saying that peanuts and treenuts are in the same category, when Peanuts are moreso legumes, like peas, and aren’t related to actual nuts. I can eat treenuts, but honestly never do so, due to how they’re often processed in the same factories.

@Snatcher
back in the day a restaurant called dennys had a mixed fruit jelly.
probably tastes like that. i like grape jelly on biscuits or toast. perhaps its a down south thing, but we like sausage biscuits with grape jelly on them as well

@VoidofLight oh I know peanuts aren’t exactly nuts. However, my cousin is basically allergic to most nuts and peanuts. So I just used it as a general word.
Or at least that was the consensus back then, I’m not sure if his allergies got narrowed down later down the road.
At the time of that story, I’m fairly certain my uncle (his grandpa) was eating regular pecans. Pecans were a Christmas mainstay at his home… Which now that I think about it, perhaps that wasn’t exactly optimal for my cousin.
@VoidofLight Never had apple, But it sounds pretty tasty TBH, @ogo79 Lord that looks tasty, I Tasted a PB&J mix, Oh boy was it tasty, it was cold, just like i like it, and it wasn't to sticky, MMMMMMM.

@Tyranexx I just listened to a comparison of Luke's voice in the UK and US versions. I remember the UK's official Nintendo magazine making a lot of jokes about how annoying Luke's voice is but it sounds much more natural than the US dub to me. I wonder why they changed it; do they think Americans can't understand Cockney accents? Lol
Thank you Nintendo for giving us Donkey Kong Jr Math on Nintendo Music
Love me some peanuts! I have a bag of Trader Joes Old fashioned blister peanuts in the cupboard right now. They’re super crunchy and roasted extra dark. Peanuts in the shell are a holiday tradition in my parts. People sell them in huge bags, and I can sit and crack them for hours and make a giant mess. They go great with cheap beer and NFL games.
@TheJGG - OOT and MM are almost nothing alike except for graphics and control scheme.
@ogo79 - If I could only eat vanilla ice cream, I just wouldn’t eat ice cream. Vanilla ice cream is pie seasoning only. I guess those beers must have washed out your taste buds, I get that if I have a strong IPA or a big, fat stout. Yeah, Haagen Dazs is pricey, but the coconut pineapple is incredible as an occasional treat. The ice cream itself is creamy coconut flavor with a light sprinkling of chewy flake throughout, and then just the right amount of frozen pineapple chunks swirled in. It’s simple, but so good. Go on and get yourself some when you’re through with that CCP ice cream.
I’ve always been a big grape jelly guy as well, I love it on a warm, buttery biscuit. I’ll have to try it with sausage like that, I’ve always like maple syrup with my sausage, so I’m sure it’ll work for me.
