@ogo79 Hahaha, thanks for that, my friend. That completely made my otherwise dreary and absolutely boring day at the office. I actually laughed about it a little bit too loud, making my co-workers turn their heads in dumb-founded wonder...
just tell them theres an idiot on a forum thats an idiot on a forum and you laugh at him
Nah... I would never insult you like that. I'd sooner say that it was a natural-born standup comedian...
@Haruki_NLI Well, considering what you told me before, I suppose your chances of getting the job sound pretty good, so perhaps I'll be able to congratulate you next week. Provided of course that you've finally made up your mind about if you're actually happy with it. Or not...

And I might have to get a new one as I don't think I can send it back any more. if anyone has fixed this before, could you help?
It also looks like I will have to pay full time for pokemon home, as I just have to many good pokemon on there that I can't let go away, now pokemon home does give you one free slot and I might be able to fit all pokemon you can't get my normal means, And thanks to the dlc pokemon sword got there are even more legendary pokemon you can catch, so I might not need to put them all in there (Even if I don't have the dlc yet)
Man why couldn't they just make cloud saves for pokemon!
@ThanosReXXX I'm happy with it. Got a lot of things to learn in terms of closing up the store, cash handling, management stuff in general on the admin and business side.
But it'll be a good learning experience and something to have on the CV.

@TheJGG Thanks! I'd like to get down at least into the mid-140s. You aren't much taller than my 5' 7 1/2". I'm definitely fighting my gender and genetics on this one, and I do plan to get tested to see if I have any imbalances or other biological inhibitors I need to be aware of. Most of the normal health numbers they check were normal at my last appointment, but that was only a general evaluation. Ironically, I feel healthier than I have in years, but my age certainly could be playing a role as well.
Count me among the numbers who dislike licorice. Or at least what normally passes for it in America (Ew, Twizzlers). I've heard/read opinions that true licorice over in Europe and some select areas here is much better, but each time I've tried any of the stuff...no thank you. One of my grandmothers likes the putrid black licorice. Retches I'm a fan of most chocolate except the really cheap dollar store stuff. I'm not much of a hard candy person other than the rare peppermint or hard caramel sample. Taffy and similar substances, such as Starbursts and Airheads...are hard for me to ignore. I also like many forms of cake, cheesecake, and most fruit pies. A few custard and meringue pie varieties as well. So...yes, I like sugar. Though I certainly don't eat as much of it as I used to. In fact, I now totally understand why foreign visitors think some of our foods are too sweet. Many processed foods here are sweetened for preservative and/or palate reasons, and they often don't need these extra ingredients. I think we've spun off into cheap and artificial sweeteners on here before, so I won't dive down that rabbit hole again. Tl;dr - I certainly enjoy a variety of sweet treats, but I rarely go crazy with them.
On the video: No problem! I do try to keep my word on matters, even if it might take a bit sometimes. I've heard of the Scott the Woz channel, though I confess it isn't one I've watched. I don't normally watch a lot of YouTubers these days, but a couple of channels I've been watching on and off are davidinc and Erick Landon RPG. Disclaimer: I deny having a RPG obsession.
Ah, the best part after some hot work: a nice dunking! Whether it be in a pool or a nice shower. As for the CD on my lawn, I suspect it might have come from a vehicle that was experiencing trouble. There was a huge downpour that morning, and I recall seeing a car that had pulled off while I was getting ready for work; it's possible it fell out of an open door. The car was gone by the time I left, and I was none the wiser about the discarded CD until the next time I mowed (thankfully NOT over the CD lol). It's quite impressive it worked as it would've had to put up with the elements for a few days. I wanted to trace the owner, but I didn't get the plate and the car was a common model. Dasher is a great name for your dog! He looks like a very good boy, and certainly loyal enough to not mind being made to look like his namesake around Christmas.
Fully agreed on electronic music. Glad you enjoyed that H.B.F.S. take. After I linked that Floppotron video, that went into a rabbit hole of some of the other offerings that channel had; it had been awhile since I watched any. There's a decent range of songs. It's amazing what someone can do with a build like that and a MIDI file! I haven't explored Daft Punk just yet, but that's certainly on the agenda next time I go Spotify cruising! I'll let you know what I find.
Your lack of a SS steelbook is how I feel with missing most goodies. Though I'm still a little salty that I haven't been able to secure the two Metroid Dread amiibo. I can pass on the special edition though. I hope you're enjoying Skyward Sword! I meant what I typed in my review comment: it isn't the strongest Zelda game - I'd put it somewhere in the middle of my "favorite Zelda" rankings - but what it does right, it REALLY does right! It has some of the strongest puzzles and dungeons in the series, some memorable boss battles, and one of my favorite interpretations of Zelda. Funny story on Ys; I hadn't played (or gamed) much over the past few days until last night. Nothing really new plot-wise, but I got plenty of exploration out of the way and found a way that the game makes dungeons you've already traversed through a lot harder.
As for Doki Doki Literature Club: That one's still on my radar, though not an urgent pickup anytime soon. I do appreciate any spoiler omissions as I intentionally don't know much about the plot. Though I would be interested in the general runtime. I'm not one who usually equates price with hours, but I do like to know roughly how long I might spend in a game...though this also varies by genre. Usually HLTB's times for anything not exploration-heavy or bogged down with a ton of side content is fairly accurate in my case.
I had a similar experience to your spelling bee incident in middle school. In my case though, I completely misheard the word. It was a regional bee, and unfortunately it was by single word elimination as well. We had plenty of hints we could use (root, definition, etc.), but I was so taken aback and have NEVER done well when I'm on the spot. My brain froze, I asked for the root I think, then completely botched it. I don't even recall what word it was. As for "reticent", it isn't a word used here often. I've heard it pronounced as "reh-tih-sent". As for "pecan", here it's "pea-khan". Though I've heard the "pea-can" version as well. English is fun and weird.
No hurry on those pancake images! Glad I just ate.

Apologies on all the late replies. Not sure what's been up with me this week. I've been busy, sore, and weirdly tired and exhausted to do too much in the evenings, though I've slept decently the last couple of nights. I'm thinking I just need a day to decompress since I've had someplace to go every day for at least the last three weeks. Which is good, as tomorrow is a free Saturday for a change. Family reunion on Sunday though, and another for a different side of the family next week. It's also been quite hot and humid here. This is seasonably normal, but all the haze from the wildfires on the west coast certainly isn't helping....
@bimmy-lee That's what I keep telling myself, that some of the unneeded "extra" is being displaced by muscle. I have noticed slight changes with how my clothes fit and how I feel post-workout in that regard. I keep telling myself that - it's about how I feel vs. how I supposedly should look (thanks society). How well that works depends on my mindset at the time though lol. The good news is that muscle is better at burning energy!
Bats, thankfully, aren't rodents I have to deal with. The same can't be said for my parents when it comes to some sheds, but that's pretty rare too. And I removed one that somehow got into their utility closet through the pipe connecting to their HVAC unit. Their more common squeaky cousins (mice) are another story. I've never had issues with them in the main house (few spaces for them to get in), but they sometimes crawl up through my crawlspace and into my attic space in the winter. I've tried patching all points of entry, but the little guys are nature's Houdinis.
On the phone situation: I was planning on upgrading anyway, but it's clearly a thinly-veiled push to get people to upgrade and sign up for contracts. Technically there's a good reason for it - no point in keeping old technology going after a certain point - but they're transitioning Android users in the cheapest way possible. I've read the iOS equivalent, while not great, is still a step up. I'd rather them have offered a sort of transition deal with certain phones instead.
@ThanosReXXX A chopped-up vegetable mix is more up my alley. It saves time, and I completely agree that it means one flavor typically doesn't completely take over. To my knowledge though, the only nearby store that carries anything like that of decent quality...is expensive. I don't go there much unless I need something really off-the-cuff. I've ingested bell peppers, but only when they're part of something else...or admittedly smothered in dip. XD I'm typically not picky when it comes to pizza, but they're one of the few topping exceptions I don't care for.
I've thought about making my own tomato sauce, though I haven't really experimented much yet. I do like the sauce I buy, but I won't deny it would be more interesting to see what I could turn out on my own. Hopefully in a big batch too, so I could freeze some of it....
@MarioLover92 I'm officially jealous of your brother lol. The UK is one of the countries on my bucket list, primarily from historical and natural perspectives. I've been out of the country once, to Nassau in the Bahamas. That was on a short cruise we took on a family vacation when I was eight. We saw some pretty cool sights, but the tradeoff was the timeshare....Ugh.
It's neat to see game cases from different regions! A few months ago, I picked up Professor Layton and the Spectre's Call (Last Specter here) secondhand off of Amazon, case and all. The case is the same as you describe; I was taken aback at that as well. I've been playing it on occasion along with Ys VIII.
I'd be curious to know how long that walking trail is. The longest single trail on the system I mentioned is a little over two miles, but it easily connects with other trails. There are currently efforts to expand it. It's all paved with ramps and no stairs for bikes and public accessibility.

Okay.
I have registered some games for XBOX.
I expanded the quantity until 12 XBOX games and only 1 more game to make it 12.
Here are the games i have registered.
1st party from Microsoft
5. Carve
6. Fuzion Frenzy
3rd party Multi consoles
7. Carmen Sandiego The Stolen Drums
8. Spongebob Light Camera Pants
9. Sonic Heroes
10. Robots
11. Ty the Tasmanian Tiger 1
12. ???
What 3rd party multi console game should i consider to occupy that empty space ?
Any suggestion ?
The games must be rated E and E10+ only.
@VoidofLight
No trolling answer, please. 🙄
I'm serious in building my kiddie games for Original XBOX (XBOX classic).
I need nice suggestion for rated E and E10+ games on Original XBOX.

@chapu2006 I’m a swimmer as well, I managed to make my country [that I lived in] non national team! I haven’t been able to train much though, it’s been a bit frustrating. I also love track; if I wasn’t a swimmer I’d be doing track. What’s your history with swimming?
No reason why I wouldn’t watch some others but my main focuses are more or less the same excluding the football. I’m done with that after the EURO 2020 rollercoaster!
so i wanted a few more bells and whistles to hang around the skull shack and will hang these keychains below posters:
ive got that rainbow one coming in, and a translucent lime green body version with every shade of translucent green inside it you can imagine.

After playing Yokai Watch 1 - 3 on 3DS, i think i saw some similarities between Yokai Watch games with Sailor Moon anime.
Yokai Watch 1 = Sailor Moon (season 1)
The beginning of become Yokai Watch owner (Usagi become Sailor Moon), have to say goodbye with Yokai World once after beat the Final Boss (after defeating Queen Beryl).
Yokai Watch 2 = Sailor Moon R (season 2)
Regain the memory from the past (R for Return), Time Travel (Chibiusagi arrival), Wicked Yokai (Dark Moon power), Ambition of Dame Dedtime to turn the world into darkness (Wiseman ambition).
Yokai Watch 3 = Sailor Moon S (season 3)
Merican Yokai (kinda like new Sailor Senshi: Uranus, Neptune, Pluto and Saturn), Alien attack (Pharaoh 90), Yopple Inc (Kinda like Witches 5 office but Yopple Inc is a good company)
Also, I'm not sure what to suggest as I'm not big into the Xbox to begin with. (As you're no doubt aware, I'm much more of a Nintendo guy.) That looks like you've got a good amount of games that you're interested in, you could settle with those for the time being, before you find other games - instead of feeling like you have to have exactly 12 of them. Just some friendly advice for you.
@Tyranexx Yeah, I'm jealous too, lol. I would love to go to the UK one of these days! The only country I've been to outside of the US was Canada, but that was when I was super young so I don't really remember anything about it. I'd love to visit Japan as well. My cousin has actually flew to China and lived there for quite some time, she teached English as a second language over there, if I remember correctly. That walking trail I mentioned earlier is 1.9 miles, I just looked it up! There is a loop that's in the middle as well.

@Anti-Matter These are first-party but what about the Blinx games? I don't have an Xbox so I've never played them but they seem like your kind of thing.
Thank you Nintendo for giving us Donkey Kong Jr Math on Nintendo Music
@Dogorilla
About Blinx games, there are 2 Blinx games on XBOX but after watching the gameplay videos from Youtube and try to digest the gameplay mechanism, unfortunately i couldn't consider them at all as i found the gameplay was very confusing and not interesting, also the character design of Blinx games was not really appealing for me. So i skipped them entirely, sorry.
Ok well I'm not going to try 100% the dex anymore, if anything I will put all my pokemon home pokemon, put them in the game, then send them back to home, thats about it, bc Game freak doesn't wan't to add cloud save bc there cheat freaks, And really there is no point in doing the dex, I mean I really want to do it, but what if my switch breaks? then all that progress is gone, and you know what else is stupid, is the fact that now I don't want to bring any of my pokemon to sword, bc it has no cloud save, and its all bc of cheating I think, which is dumb bc they can't stop any hacked pokemon, they can't stop any cheating, but oh no progress cheating is the one thing we need to stop.
Also, I'm kinda on a pokemon high right now and remembering my love for the games, my first being sun and moon, So I will be getting the remakes and the open world game, and I'm hoping, they will allow cloud save in at least one of those games bc now I have to pay for pokemon home now. rant over.
Nintendo are like woman, You love them for whats on the inside, not the outside…you know what I mean! Luzlane best girl!
