Nah, @Zuljaras I never pre-order stuff. Amazon delivers the steelbook and the game separately so the £20 free delivery thing doesn’t count. So I have to pay £10 on top of the game’s price to get it delivered here. So I bought a local copy instead.
This is your first time playing the game so do let me know how it goes, I’d love to hear about it!
And yes, if you use the three starter bundle figures for Spyro's Adventure, the ones that are in the first photo I took, then you can indeed finish the main story line. But for specific side quests and extras, you can add the figures of the second photo, or any others that are compatible, since there are plenty more.
And figures also keep all their stats across games, so you can take a fully leveled up Spyro into Giants and probably also into any of the following games. Seeing as I only have Spyro's Adventure and Giants, I know it works for those games, so you may have to look up if the stats and so on will also carry over into newer games, but I suspect that they do.
As for SuperChargers: you WILL need racing type figures, seeing as those are the main characters in the story line, much like how you will also need Spyro for Spyro's Adventure.
Seeing as I don't own these games, I'm not entirely sure about being able to use non-vehicle characters, so you might have to Google that yourself. Same goes for the 3DS game, which by the way needs its own special portal, seeing as it won't work with the USB portals.
As for Imaginators: I'm guessing that it does accept all older figures, but maybe not the racing characters, since far as I know, these don't feature in the story line of the main game, but maybe they do appear in side quests. Either way, if you want to collect all the Skylanders games, you'll need all the characters anyway, so you might as well pick a couple of every kind, and then at least you'll be sure that you can finish all games and side quests.
@Zuljaras Really?! I was the opposite, I hate the button controls. While I appreciate them being there for convenience and all, I don’t plan to use them any more than I did. I tried it out and it was so weird. Plus it’s nice to be standing up for a change when playing a video game.
How far are you so far? I’ve gotten a fair bit done, but some tedious cutscenes I’ve skipped.

I really can't stand forced motion/gyro whatever controls on any game. Same with touch controls like in Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks (good that there are rom hacks to bypass this crap!).
I do not have motion sickness or anything like that. I just do not like them at all

Edit: Some Gamecube games are really difficult to get due to its expensive price as main factor or only have PAL version that still available on Ebay. I consider Japanese Gamecube games as standalone, completely different with USA version.
Man, VERY busy week on my end. I haven't been hitting the forums, and I've even laid off on commenting on a lot of articles unless I feel I have something to contribute. Lot of errands mainly, and I also helped out with a friend's wedding on Monday afternoon/evening. I will say I'm a little tired of the Switch OLED buzz (and complaints) already, and there hasn't been much else news I've been interested in. As for the Steam Deck, it looks cool...but I don't wish to dive into the Steam rabbit hole right now and would prefer just building a decent PC.

Haven't played much the last couple days (haven't had much time to game even), but I picked up Catherine last time and have already used her blacksmithing skills.
@bimmy-lee Oof, sand fleas! I can't stand fleas, due in part to a very foul experience with them when helping my aunt and uncle move to Oklahoma a few years ago. The rental house they were supposed to move into was full of them. The agent was confused as heck. Turned out the previous tenant had had a dog in there illegally (pets weren't allowed), and after the carpets were steam cleaned between the tenant moving out and my relatives moving in...yeah. Hello instant activated flea eggs! My sister and I both vacated the premises pretty quickly and were literally brushing/digging the things off our legs, digging them out of our socks and shoes...ugh. Unfortunately some of the furniture had already been moved in before anyone realized what was up, but no clothes thankfully. My sister and I would still reflexively itch our legs when the suckers were mentioned for the longest time.
I wouldn't mind mist and a nice rain as long as it wouldn't reach the torrential downpour levels we get here sometimes. There was a nasty downpour the other night, nothing severe but accompanied by plenty of wind.
On the weight loss: Thanks! It hasn't been easy and has been a lifestyle change vs. short-term; I don't diet per se, I try to keep processed foods to s minimum and (usually) try not to go too crazy on sugar and fried foods. Though possessing a sweet tooth doesn't help.
@TheJGG You've partially touched on why I've started posting in articles less. Though some of it really has been related to how busy I am in some cases and how uninterested I am when it comes to other subjects.
Mildly irritated though I am with the amiibo scenario, it really isn't necessary to enjoy the game. As for the controls, I did overall enjoy the 1:1 swordplay on the Wii, even if Link did make some awkward poses (I'm a leftie and reversed my Wiimote + nunchuk setup). Thrusting was only really a problem with Moldarach since it's a crucial move for that fight. It'll be a bit before I pick up the game, but I do intend to. I hope you enjoy your copy!

I got to go to my uncle's wedding 5 years ago, which was really nice...though I went through quite a long plane trip for that, since he lives rather far away from me. Well, I had to board two planes to get to my destination, but the latter trip was especially long, like 4 hours IIRC. Good thing I had my 3DS to keep me busy. lol

The skateboard challenge from Rocket Power Beach Bandits (get all 10 rockets in 5 minutes) was really ******* damn hard, like i will never able to continue the storyline. 🤬
The control was really frustrating like it was really damn hard to control the movement precisely while skateboarding. It was (almost) impossible to get all 10 rockets within 5 minutes without making any mistakes. Damn, old games was really forcing you have to be 100% hardcore to be called a gamer, something that i really hate. I hate nonsense challenge with ridiculous condition to win. 😡
I want to finish the storyline quickly but that challenge was really pissed me off, made me want to quit playing that game.

@Tyranexx First I’d also throw my proverbial hat into the ring and extend well wishes on your dieting. I used to be…. Not large but “bigger” as soon as six years ago, and cutting normal milk, processed food, and sugars out has been great, especially for my skin. Now I’d say I’m quite average sized, so it worked out a good deal for athletics and so on. Hope you find a balanced plan good for you. Hope the wedding goes smoothly, best case scenario you’ll watch on and be happy with the result.
My feedback with SSHD is: it’s bloody brilliant. The game was already a masterpiece with minor flaws so there wasn’t any needed radical changes. Looks amazing, and controls really well, especially when playing with detached Joy-Cons. The QOL changes are appreciated, like Fi’s lack of intrusiveness. I was going “hyaaah!” when fighting enemies in Faron Woods. That’s how good the motion controls are for immersive-ness!
Yeah, I knew who you meant, @Tyranexx .... I've been playing Skyward Sword on my Lite, so no waving joy-cons around for me! The buttons controls work pretty well, just takes a little getting used to flicking the analogue stick but I'm liking the game so far
Ok so I saw space jam 2, and, well, I actually really liked it, I really don't like how my skunk boi was left out all together, Now if I gave full on review, I would never stop, and i'm a little to tired to write it all, But lebron james was bad! I couldn't stand him this whole movie, and I would go as far to say he ruined the whole thing, Lola Bunny also was kinda ruined, Sure, they can change how she looked, not my problem, but her spunk is just, gone, that rough I'm not a push over lola is kinda gone, I'm not a fan of that, they just changed like she acted and thats what I hate about it most of all, Like I said not a big fan, but I don't hate her. (And she also lost the tough and feminine)
Ha, I guess I did go on a little bit, but that was my gripes with the movie, other then that the loony toons them self's were great, and fun to watch. Ok this is a tiny spoiler, Road runner and wildly, were in a mad max world, and its got to be one of the funniest thing ever
For the most part, they kinda ruined this movie, but the loony tunes kinda saved it, and yes they shove all sorts of WB ester eggs, but they were fun to see, hear or watch, and with that, I give this movie a 6.5/10
Also BOOO to taking out my skunky boi, and For messing up lola. (And the "King's" really bad acting.)

@Anti-Matter Just used HBO max, no way I was going out there. I do have to say if your a fan of Loony tunes you will injoy this movie, if your a fan of loony toons an other WB movies and or tv shows, you will also love this movie.
Edit: LOL I miss read your comment, you said how did I watch them not it. Mostly streaming services or renting, I'm not putting my self at risk setting on coughed on seats LOL.
