@NEStalgia What do you mean, glad to see that YOU'RE not the only one defending reality on the internet? What am I, chopped liver? The profile doesn't say "Fighting the good fight" for nothing, you know...
'The console wars are like boobs: Sony and Microsoft fight over which ones look the nicest and Nintendo's are the most fun to play with.'
@ThanosReXXX I bought it from GOG. Painkiller is fantastic! I have been through all Painkillers back when they were released. My favorite level is probably The Orphanage from Painkiller: Battle out of Hell.
For a mindless shooter the atmosphere is immersive. That Town level played only with the stake-gun was super cool!
Bulletstorm was alot of fun. I had it on 360 played and beat it there and have it on PS4 as well and played it on that as well. As others say it doesn't take itself seriously but is good fun. The rope mechanic is alot of fun too.

@DenDen No, I didn't. Seeing as I already own it on the Xbox 360, and there were/are quite a few other games on my "to buy"/wanted list, I don't really feel the need to double-dip on this particular version of the game, even though it has some upgrades and exclusive content.
If I ever stumble upon it in a bargain bin sale, then I might pick it up after all, but otherwise, I'm good with the version I already have.
@HobbitGamer apparently just their response to the lovely taxes our fantastic government is enforcing on digital goods, although it's way more than what the new tax would require. So 🤷🏻♂️
I should really know better. People treat Digital Foundry basically like a religion at this point. Have a differing opinion, or making my own judgement or valuing different aspects of a game, and saying it anywhere near people talking about DF is like talking about politics at a thanksgiving dinner in America. It's just a really bad idea.
I should just know - if DF is mentioned, just nod and agree. If I don't, I'm the enemy.

Digital Foundry just shows facts about the performance of games. If some people get mad because they saw frame rate drops of 5 fps well it is not DF fault it is just people being nitpicking.
Remember they do NOT make stuff up. They just use their advanced tools and show the results.
If people overreact it is their fault. I used to overreact to DF in the past because I though they kill the joy of some games but it is the opposite. Now it is fun watching reviews from them as I do it for entertainment. Their graphics + fps measurement have some really nerdy vibes
I find their videos interesting, it's always fun to see how games perform, the tricks used to achieve that performance, and how they compare to different versions of the same game.
I didn't play DDR arcade for freaking 3 months!
I felt my legs want to step on DDR pad. 🤪
I wanna play DDR arcade again.
Meanwhile, i watched America's Next Top Model marathon series from Youtube recently to kill my boredom during pandemic.
Edit: Looks like i will get New 3DS XL Europe Fire Emblem edition very soon. So excited ! 😀
My cartridges of Dillon's Dead Heat Breakers and Girl's Fashion Shoot will be playable after this.
@HobbitGamer Ah, checked the photos, did 'ya?
But yes, that was a good game. I never completely finished it, though. At some point, I had so many games on various systems, that I only ever finish a handful of them, and some remain half-complete or less, because I simply don't have the time or the energy for it, sometimes. And even when I do, then newer games always take precedence.
The only old games I'm currently playing, are the ones on my brand new Neo Geo Mini. It's a truly wonderful piece of hardware. The screen is simply fantastic, and nearly all of the 40 games on there are brilliant and highly entertaining. Some are punishingly difficult, though. Those arcade games back in the day certainly didn't pull any punches...
