@Ralizah
As long there are game developers who still create Casual games like on NDS or Wii, i'm happy to see more choices on video games.
Unusual Casual games like that will always have their fan. 😁
@Tyranexx Lol, yeah, not that my mom is a slob, not by any means, but it was my dad who mandated us keeping the house basically like a show house. He cut me a little slack as a kid but only in my room. And the rest of the house generally needed to remain so nice you'd think we were hosting foreign dignitaries.
And he was big into cars, he had something like 3000 model cars on display in the basement, most of which he built. And he kept them all clean.
@NEStalgia Oh no, I'm not looking at some random Chinese offbrand. This is a SanDisk extreme from Amazon Japan set to come out at the end of the month.
@Tyranexx Well, like your furniture, the seats are in various states of used, so they're not that comfortable to sit in anymore, because the plastic bands inside the seat, which hold up the entire cushion area, have stretched out/sagged, so they don't look nearly as good as that chair on that picture I posted.
I currently use two of them as makeshift game cabinets:
(seeing as I don't have any actual cabinets to put them in. Finances and priorities and all that... )

@Zuljaras Yeah, Bulletstorm is kind of a parody of other shooters of its time, where everything is over the top, willingly dives into tropes and cliches (and announces them), and breaks the 4th wall a lot. But is actually a fun, well designed actual shooter game behind the story and characters that take nothing seriously and know they're a joke.
@johnvboy Just tagging you here from my "safe space" to use the politically correct lingo the groovy kiddos seem to enjoy these days.....
I have to say it's pure poetry watching your interaction with (insert user here) on (insert thread here)...beautiful...and wonderfully done. But I wanted to mention if you didn't already notice it yourself....their writing style, and methodology seems strikingly similar to a few other "users" that seem to pop up here, each account set up around a particular social/political/group issue. One for "women's rights", one as a "parody" misogynistic account, one for gay issues, one for trans issues, etc. Always with very well designed, very well "researched" otherwise level-seeming discussion designed to be a largely bullet-proof and incendiary argument generator. Tight enough that they come across having to be treated with kid gloves just in case it's really legit. I have no evidence it's the same person or that's what they're doing here, but given the methodology and stylistic approach, I'm going to guess you're being had by the resident professional troll. You probably recognized them as well, but just in case....
Also amused by you receiving a second "I rarely agree with your gaming opinions but appreciate this" - You're a walking "unpopular gaming opinion", apparently At least I'm not the only person who at least attempts to defend reality on the internet....or the smoking ruin that's left of it, anyway!
@Zuljaras Yup, it was. And basically everything that @NEStalgia said. It's a lot of fun and completely over the top. Here's a video:
If you like what you see, then you might either want to get the Epic Edition on Xbox 360/PS3, or the Full Clip Edition on Xbox One/PlayStation or Nintendo Switch. That will probably be a bit more expensive. Here's a trailer from that particular version:
@NEStalgia What do you mean, glad to see that YOU'RE not the only one defending reality on the internet? What am I, chopped liver? The profile doesn't say "Fighting the good fight" for nothing, you know...

@ThanosReXXX I bought it from GOG. Painkiller is fantastic! I have been through all Painkillers back when they were released. My favorite level is probably The Orphanage from Painkiller: Battle out of Hell.
For a mindless shooter the atmosphere is immersive. That Town level played only with the stake-gun was super cool!
Bulletstorm was alot of fun. I had it on 360 played and beat it there and have it on PS4 as well and played it on that as well. As others say it doesn't take itself seriously but is good fun. The rope mechanic is alot of fun too.

@DenDen No, I didn't. Seeing as I already own it on the Xbox 360, and there were/are quite a few other games on my "to buy"/wanted list, I don't really feel the need to double-dip on this particular version of the game, even though it has some upgrades and exclusive content.
If I ever stumble upon it in a bargain bin sale, then I might pick it up after all, but otherwise, I'm good with the version I already have.
