@Tyranexx When you do try it, be sure to stick the bottle in a tunnel, or near a mole hill, to make sure it'll maximize the effect of the wind howling and reverberating through the bottle neck. Some people just stick them in the ground at random, and then complain that it doesn't work, but obviously, the trick needs space/air, so the wind can circulate and make the noise.
Oh, and just in case you're wondering: you yourself will hardly notice, due to the sound literally being funneled downwards, hence putting the bottle into the ground neck first. Those straight bottles, such as wine bottles, work best, by the way. Just in case you're thinking of cutting up any other bottle...
@Tasuki Well, I ordered it through the Dutch alternative for Amazon, but it's actually a German brand, and it's made in China, so I figure you might just be able to find and/or order it from a local shop somewhere in your vicinity as well.
The brand of the chair is Tectake, and it is listed as a "Luxury design Desk chair", so perhaps you might be able to find it that way. Or use the official shop picture to Google it might also work, if you also add Tectake to the search option:
Here's the page of the local shop I bought it from. https://www.bol.com/nl/p/tectake-luxe-design-bureaustoel-zwar...
Seeing as it is in Dutch, the description won't make much sense to you, but at least you'll be able to see all the pictures of it, with close ups and measurements and so on.
@ThanosReXXX Thanks. Yeah appearently it's only available in Europe as I searched my regions Amazon and nothing came up and when I googled it, only Amazon UK shows it. Thanks anyway for the info I will just keep looking.

@Tasuki I was just about to edit my previous comment to tell you that. No options to get it sent over, then?
Although: the package weighs 20 kilos, so probably not the best of options.
Amazon US does have two alternate options, which are more or less similar, far as I can see. Only slightly different design:
@Tasuki I just checked Best Buy, and they also sell the Serta line of luxury desk chairs, so if a Best Buy is close to you, then you might want to pick one up yourself, instead of ordering from Amazon. At the very least, you could use both sites to compare prices, and see which one is in your favor.
@Tyranexx Mowing on it's own I don't mind too much. It's most everything else I dislike. Trimming the hedges, weeding, trimming the edges of the lawn, etc... The hedges were especially annoying. That was a weekend job usually and we only had a few.
My allergies tend not to bother me much in spring or summer but when the leaves start falling and it rains and they start molding... that's when I get it.

Most commodities like chairs, unless their REALLY high end, are just sourced at Chinese product fairs. Dozens of distributors order the exact same product with just one or two changes to make it unique (or not) and sell it under their name. Should be able to find an almost identical one easy enough anywhere.
@thanosrexxx nice new addition! I wouldn't use one much but it definitely suits you given the convos we've had in certain rodential release threads for switch
@Tyranexx do the persimmon seeds have an app? Their results can't possibly be any worse than NWS, so I'm willing to give it a go.
NWS:. Make up a temperature within 15 degrees, and call for rain in each segment of each day, that way whenever it rains you can always say you called it!
@NEStalgia Oh, I'm not going to use it too much either, but I always wanted a "real" Neo Geo for the console collection, just not at the prices that the original consoles were going for, so this is a nice alternative, but it is more for collector purposes.
Although I must say that since I've owned it, which is five days now, I've played on it more than on the other Minis. Probably also due to the fact that I don't have to connect it to the TV, although that is also an option, and works better with the additional controllers that I bought with it.
On a side note: rodential release threads? What in the... ? Can't also remember we've ever extensively discussed Neo Geo games, unless it was in the ACA article comments sections, where I've usually done my best to educate and/or advice people on which titles to buy and which titles to steer clear of.
@NEStalgia ""I think "This is what happened to the NY world store amidst protests/looting" could have been reported without playing Washington Post going into "the looting is happening because of (link) this issue, (link) this issue, (link) this issue" etc. Yeah, I do agree that reporting on the World Store is on-point. But the article leaned heavily into being reporting on the US political landscape with Nintendo being a loose framework to tie it in. In the same vein of "pirating is bad and you shouldn't do it. Here's 30 awesome things pirates are doing."""
I agree completely with both points you made here.

Is it just I or the mobile version of this site( and Push Square) zoomed out? I hate it so much; it was okay back then. I don't understand why they did this.
The Harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. When the going gets tough, the tough gets going.
@ThanosReXXX Thanks again. Yeah I don't want to ship them over as that will cost too much. I don't mind D.I.Y. at all. Will check those links here shortly.

@Tyranexx Yeah if they have underlying health conditions then that’s definitely a no go. It also seems like a lot of people in their 30s only go to amusement parks with their family. It’s not a popular road trip destination like going to a concert or visiting a new city.
But someone better join me when they eventually open a Super Nintendo World in Florida. Especially if they have a Zelda, Metroid, or Donkey Kong Minecart ride.
@Tyranexx Thank you!
And no. No name for him but definetely not Polyphemus as he is not feral man-eating cyclops He is more of a hard working sophisticated cyclops
I see they're making a tiny Game Gear Micro so ants are able to play it too!

@ogo79 It's dangerous to go alone. Here, take this:
oh my.
no
what the hell is that?
dog food with rice and pineapple?
i mean dog food with rice and dog food?

Can anyone who knows about the topic tell me why there are no microSD cards more than 512GB but less than 1TB? Or at least none that I can find. I see 128, 256, 400 and 512 but then next jump is all the way to 1TB. No 750 or anything?
I was planning on getting a new card to upgrade my 400GB which is nearly full, but the price difference between 512 and 1tb is like 350 dollars.

@ThanosReXXX No pity for those complainers when it comes to the bottle trick not working, if applied incorrectly. I don't know how they'd expect them to work if they aren't applied to any part of the tunnel/mound system. Sound doesn't travel as well through solid ground.
Sounds like an excuse to pick up a wine bottle as well....
Nice chair, by the way. People balk at pricier office chairs, but typically some of the more expensive ones are better for long-term sitting and for alleviating back issues. I'm very glad I picked up a gaming chair for my at-home office right before quarantine started.
@Heavyarms55 I don't find weeding pleasant, but I usually stay on top of it enough that there isn't too much of an issue. Unfortunately, the exception is part of the chain-link fence in my backyard; there's no easy way to keep that fully trimmed, so unfortunately I have to resort to a little weed killer at least once a year. I've never had to deal with hedges very much, but I'm sure trimming them is time-consuming. Not to mention it has to be done just right IIRC.
I should probably go through allergy testing sometime. They don't usually bother me as much in the fall. The best I can figure is that I'm either allergic to the grass itself, or some kind of tree pollen.
@NEStalgia No clue if there's a persimmon seed app, but now I'm curious to see if one actually exists. XD I think weather forecasting is one of those fields where you get paid for being wrong more than right.
@NotTelevision It's only a matter of time before they open a Super Nintendo World in Florida. I'll definitely drop by when that happens!
Which reminds me, I still haven't been to Universal Orlando. I'd like to experience the entire place, but my primary reason of showing up would be to explore the Harry Potter section. I haven't been to Florida since 2011, and that trip was almost exclusively Disney-related.
@Zuljaras Ah, so one of the good cyclopes who works for the gods, then. Gotcha.
