Pardon the double post, didn't want the previous one to become too lengthy.
...Oh, and I'll probably not be around much the next day or two either; a certain remastered JRPG will be taking up a LOT of my time for the foreseeable future.
@ThanosReXXX Not adhering to a schedule and behaving more organically while traveling definitely isn't a bad approach. All that does is cause stress in some situations. It's a struggle I have sometimes when I want to see X things and have to fit them into smaller vacation slots. XD I'm odd where I like to plan out everything in advance - I'm not one for winging it a majority of the time - but I also dislike being hurried around when on a schedule. That latter part has caused some contention on family vacations.
But yes, I'd argue there's plenty to do in the Midwest as well. There's more here than just corn and humidity.
@NotTelevision Dollywood still had Blazing Fury three-four years ago when I went. It's an interesting ride and kind of reminds me of Fire In The Hole, a similar ride at Silver Dollar City in Branson, MO. That's a park I'm a bit more familiar with. Both locations are owned by the same company IIRC. The animatronics are a bit dated, true, but I like learning how dark rides like that create some of their effects.
Many of the rides are indeed state-of-the-art. I'm a huge rollercoaster fan and can recommend most of what I rode in the park. Just watch Tennessee Tornado; it's an older Arrow Dynamics coaster that has a bit of a hard stop when heading back to the station. Bonked my knee a little lol.
@Heavyarms55 I haven't evolved it yet, but I'm glad to learn that shiny Bronzong is a nicer green! Bronzor's line is one of the better Gen 4 designs IMO.
@BruceCM Still on a YT music binge, eh? I'm quite fond of Rhythm Is A Dancer, even with that "controversial" line. It's just a dated phrase, not necessarily an insulting one IMO.

@Tyranexx I'm a fan, even if it did get nerfed pretty heavily from gen 5 on. What with the big explosion nerf, and then in gen 6 when steel type in general got nerfed. Bronzong was one of the best leads in gen 4, set up stealth rock, maybe rain dance, and then: BOOM!
On my way home yesterday I nabbed a shiny Croagunk! Not the best shiny but not bad at all!

@NintendoByNature@bimmy-lee I might could do some island play this weekend. Work has been a brain drain. Just look up the Georgia budget cuts and you could guess.

What are some games that feature astral projection?
This blue eye perceives all things conjoined. The past, the future, and the present. Everything flows and all is connected. This eye is not merely seen reality. It is touching the truth. Open the eye of truth... There is nothing to fear.
@Heavyarms55 I don't personally participate in the competitive scene of Pokemon, but I do know that time hasn't been kind to some of the older 'Mon in that regard. I did know about the Explosion nerf, and the introduction of Fairy types definitely changed the scene. Besides the design, Psychic/Steel is a pretty awesome type combination. I slightly prefer Metagross, however.
Congrats on the shiny Croagunk! I was keeping an eye out for both that one and shiny Glameow when I was out earlier, but no luck.

And yes, he is (usually) always right, and he is (almost) the sexiest gamer out there (not counting me) ;)
@Tyranexx It's not that time hasn't been kind to some older mon, it's just various changes in mechanics over the years that have made some Pokemon better and some worse. A good few older Pokemon have gotten a lot better over the years and some have gotten outright stat buffs.
Metagross is one of my favorites too. I really hope he comes back in the DLC. I feel like he'll be really good in VGC so long as they do not bring Landorus back. And his shiny is one of the absolute best! And he is my go-to gym killer in Pokemon Go.
The thing about Bronzong is that he is mostly a support Pokemon and a defensive Pokemon and in XY the changes made steel less defensive, losing it's resistance to ghost and dark, but more offensive being super effective vs fairy. (On another note Max steel in SW/SH is probably one of the top 3 dynamax moves)
My dream to get Paper Mario TTYD gamecube is already over. 😓
The game on Tokopedia has been bought by someone after several months i watched over. The game was unbuyable on Ebay due to insane prices.
I have to forget Paper Mario TTYD. Goodbye... 😢
Now i will embrace the new Paper Mario The Origami King for Nintendo Switch on this July 2020. 😀
Quite excited but i will wait for more gameplay trailers.
@Tyranexx Well, I'm not always strictly adhering to any schedule when I travel abroad, but normally, when you go on holiday in a European location, you get your hotel, apartment or bungalow residence, and you hang around there, or go to the beach, and maybe visit some sites, like ancient ruins or whatever.
But when you visit a country as big as the US, with SO much to see, and you go there with the knowledge that you will not have either the funds or the time to go and see all there is to see, then I definitely DO see the sense in planning and making an itinerary, because while I'm there, I'd want to make the most of it.
Although, as mentioned, if we ever succeed in actually realizing this meet up with the Chit-Chat locals, then it would probably just be "so, what else is there to do around here, besides drinking beer and having a BBQ while sitting 'round a campfire and sharing stories?".

@BruceCM What game is that, which you expect to be arriving in your mail box, then?
Got a couple of games on the way myself as well...
@Anti-Matter Was that really the only source/place for you to get that game? Aren't there any other used game stores with web sites or so? And as a last resort, you could always look for an Action Replay disc or a Freeloader disc (those are officially released discs, so not pirate software, just in case). The Action Replay disc is even better, because that has more options and has the Freeloader included. Freeloader is a program that tricks the console into thinking that it is from another region, so then you could always choose to look for the USA or EU version of the game, which is still quite easy to get a hold of, and play those instead.
EDIT:
Important note: when using Freeloader/Action Replay, and playing games from other regions, you will need a separate GameCube memory card, because the game you'll play, will format the card in the region that it's in, so if you are, for example, playing a European game on a Japanese console, then it will format your entire memory card to PAL/EU, and you will lose all the game saves already on there, so simply buy another memory card for import games.
@1UP_MARIO No, actually, it's not cheaper. If you look at the first link I posted, that's a lower price, and of course, you also need to take the p&p into account, so adding all that up for both offers, the link you posted is definitely not the better option. And besides: he doesn't want cheats, homebrew or anything else. All he would need it to do, is enable him to play discs from another region.

@Eel Really? I've got the original EU version playing just fine on my Wii. I don't know if there's any distinct difference between the PAL and NTSC versions, but it would seem quite strange to me if there actually was something that could cause this to occur on different versions of the game.

@ThanosReXXX@1UP_MARIO
It's okay.
I already have Paper Mario Sticker Star 3DS and Color Splash Wii U. 🙂
I have finished Sticker Star 6 years ago, but still haven't finished Color Splash. 😅
I still doubt to consider Super Paper Mario Wii despite there is a dirt cheap of the game at my local game store. (I found Super Paper Mario was somehow creepy if you digest the storyline). 😣
With pandemic situation right now, i think it's not wise to spend ridiculous price of Paper Mario TTYD and most of them are PAL region and cannot be delivered to Indonesia. 😔
Actually, i considered Gamecube as a Minor priority console as only a few games i consider from Gamecube. I rarely play Gamecube games since i bought on February 2017. Only Harvest Moon Magical Melody Gamecube i have managed to finish the storyline and collect the remaining musical notes. I played them on my Wii with latest update so it will not accept Freeloader anymore.
Paper Mario the Origami King is coming on July 2020.
I will pick that game as replacement of TTYD for portability and availability.
