@ThanosReXXX Ah, as ok as can be given all the craziness. Just busy busy busy. Haven't played games since Feb, really until Splat fest pulled me back in over the weekend!
@Tyranexx Haha. I like Gatlinburg as well. But certainly very touristy that’s for sure. I’ll admit to being a kid and doing the Ripley’s Haunted House. I think at one point two whole streets in Gatlinburg were all animatronic sideshows and souvenir shops.
But the mountains there are beautiful. It’s easy to get out and do some 3-4 mile hikes to waterfalls and swim in some of the streams dotted along the trails. Weirdly enough, those seem to be the least crowded areas of the park because a lot of the families would rather just drive their car to the scenic spots. Anyway...great memories of the Smokies.
@ThanosReXXX
I am a fan of 80's music too.
80's Ballad like from Peter Cetera, Amy Grant, David Foster, Al Jarreau, etc.
80's Dance Pop music by Stock Aitken Waterman like this video.
@ThanosReXXX On Tennessee: I definitely recommend also hitting up Memphis, Nashville, and Chattanooga depending on if they have anything of interest for you, and if you have the time. Just stay out of the rough parts of Memphis. Let's just say my mom could have picked a better hotel location. XD It was definitely right next to a seedier part of town, and my mom and brother are fairly certain they saw a drug deal go down at a gas station we filled up at.
On skin burning: ...I admittedly may have a couple of small blisters forming with this round (and will likely experience some peeling), but this doesn't hold a candle to that aforementioned experience. XD I should've covered up better than I did. Again, I had assumed that I wouldn't be out enough for it to matter....Silly Tyranexx.
I don't think I've sustained too many burns on my feet, but I do know I've experienced it a time or two. I don't think those were ever too severe, but I can relate in the "uncomfortable" department. As well as with the interesting patterns from wearing sandals. I rarely wear them these days, though.
@NotTelevision I've only been to the area twice in the last ten years. I've visited the aquarium and some of the shows around there, as well as Dollywood. I haven't done the haunted house there, but I've heard some pretty decent things about it.
Part of why I like Great Smokey Mountain National Park, besides the natural environment in general, are all the mountains. Just about anywhere with mountains catches my imagination, primarily because the tallest things are small hills where I live lol. Unfortunately last time I was there I went with my family, and they aren't the type to get off the beaten path too much. We were stuck in car lines half the time, though a "shortcut" mom found via GPS to get out of the park took us off the beaten path onto some less used gravel/dirt roads. We probably wouldn't have managed it if the van didn't sit so high. To its credit, the machine DID get us out of the park. XD
@Ryu_Niiyama, and anyone else, I didn't realize until tonight, they're making a big deal out of the SpaceX launch wednesday afternoon. It's the first time the US has sent astronauts to space since the shuttle was discontinued, just over ten years ago.
Wowsers, I got seriously sucked up in some home improvement projects for the entire weekend. Hope everyone is well. I got engaged on Beale Street in Memphis. I love that town, been there a few times. Great food and music, and lots of cold beer to beat the heat.
@ThanosReXXX - I think I’m in a package deal with NBN and @Tyranexx for that beer. If you get close enough to one of us, you’re reasonably close enough to all of us that we could plan out such a thing. Hope the B&Cs treated you well.
@NintendoByNature - Man, I worked on the place all weekend until this afternoon, and then finally had a chance to fire up the ole Weber for a round of burgers and veggie kabobs. We tried our first watermelon of the season, but it wasn’t good. They don’t peak for a while yet. I know you had some good food, what was on the menu?
@Anti-Matter - Amazing song and video. Now I want to watch a certain video by Joe Esposito and enter the all Valley socially distanced, full contact karate tournament.

@Tyranexx Yeah Gengar is another one that is shiny basically only as a technicality... I know they want to be consistent, but I wish they would update the shinys that basically don't look any different. I mean yeah, both Gengar and Zapdos and a few others are different, but it's so slight that you need to have them right next to each other, in the same lighting and position, to see it...
Then again, you have a handful of hideous puke green shinys running around so I guess it's not quite as bad as it could be. I love Mamoswine but its shiny is terrible! At least Espeon looks more neon green now, but in older games it was puke green too.

Oh, gosh...
Just take a look about The Sims 4 PS4.
Another Expansion Pack again ?! 😲
My money....!! 😫
Just count how many icons displayed on Main menu.
The White icon = i owned
The Blue icon = not yet owned
Something missing there.
There was NO Cats and Dogs Expansion pack icon displayed, but the DLC is still available from either PS store or The Sims 4 Cats and Dogs Bundle PS4.
I know EA is so jerk with this practical business, but The Sims 4 DLCs are sooo.... temptating. 🤤
@HobbitGamer I know you are joking but I'm compelled (I twitched when I read your joke). Please don't look at the sun directly, especially without protection.

Well, I clearly did read further as I 1st posted the Elvis song, @ThanosReXXX .... Just had the other one stuck in my head, so thought I'd share it as well Here's one for you, @Tyranexx
@NEStalgia No games since February? You must by now surely show signs of withdrawal...
@Anti-Matter Woah, easy now, DDR Wiz. Let's not get carried away there...
But all kidding aside, and I'm almost afraid to say it, decent video. Used to be my kind of music too, more than half a lifetime ago, but not anymore. It's a nice trip down memory lane, though.
@Tyranexx Well, I'm going to have to add all these places to my itinerary, then. But not for the meet up, because
I just won't have the time to go sight-seeing when the plan is to get to know all the people behind these mysterious NLife profiles. Just as an example: for now, @bimmy-lee's face still looks like that drawing in his avatar, in my mind...
@bimmy-lee B&C ALWAYS treats me well...
Besides the whole burned feet story, which was obviously just a side-effect, I've never experienced anything bad with that particular drink so far.
@BruceCM You DO know I was just kidding, right?
And yeah, that's another nice song, although no one's ever heard from that guy again, at least not over here, so more or less a one-hit wonder in Europe...
I saw Marc Cohn perform a few years ago, so as far as I know he’s just touring and living off that song. It’s 30 years old at this point. It’s a good song, but I’m not a huge fan of the rest of his work. Reminds me a bit of Don McLean in that he contributed one incredibly popular, impactful song to the folk songbook, and then toured the rest of his career on the back of that song. Nothing wrong with that.
@ThanosReXXX - Burned feet?!? I missed that story. My avatar is a drawing of me done by my friend’s (at the time) 10 year old son. It both looks exactly like me and nothing like me. He saw the hobo version of me from a dimension over when he drew it. So yeah, safe to assume my avatar looks just like me while also not looking very much like me.
This is the skin of the Cyclops. I wanted it to look rough/rugged from working but still light (after all he works in a cave and do not go out in the sun a lot ).
This is the last update before the finish. I will also glaze his eye with nail polish to make it look alive.
@bimmy-lee forgot to reply, dude. Sorry about that. We did kabobs as well. I kind of did a Hawaiian style kabob. Cut up onion, green pepp, chicken, and marinated it in Orange juice and sweet baby rays Hawaiian sauce. After that, I skewered up and fired up the ol charcoal grill which I haven't used in a bit. Most of the time I just use the gas grill for a quick meal.
I also made some home made pub burgers. A new thing I've started doing is after I form the patty, I press them into Italian bread crumbs to not only give them a crunch, but ive also found it holds in the juices, and keeps the patties formed and together. It was solid, but nothing crazy this weekend. See you've been doing some house work huh? Done yet or still work to do?
@BruceCM Yeah, more than likely, since it was a hit all over the place.
@bimmy-lee WHAT? Don McLean a one-hit wonder? No, man. He had American Pie, the wonderful Vincent van Gogh song, Crying, and several others. Old ones, sure, but still plenty of them.
As for the burned feet story: if you want to catch up on that, feel free to read my reply to @Tyranexx in this comment here. Hope you're not too sensitive...
As for your face: perhaps it'll look like that drawing when you're taking a nap on the couch, because it looks like half of it is sagging...
Of course, we must forgive the artist, since he's a kid, and you already know how lenient I am towards those little humanoids.
Either way: at least I'll kinda know what to look for when I land on the airport some day, instead of having to wear a sign that says "I'm ThanosReXXX"...
@Zuljaras Ah, almost at the finish line. Looking good, my friend. Looking good.
