@BruceCM Good to know! If it helps, I know the Wonder Woman mythos borrows a lot from Greek Mythology, which I like. XD That should somewhat help me follow what's going on, I think.
@LatsaSpege Congrats! I've considered picking up Celeste as well, but the sheer difficulty is kinda off-putting for me. I'm waiting for a really good sale before I decide lol.
@Tyranexx Well, There Is Assist Mode! You Could Use That, And Just Have An Extra Dash!

Well, the film explains itself pretty well, since they obviously didn't assume everyone going to it was familiar with either the characters or much else, @Tyranexx
@Tyranexx Well, to be honest: I can understand the sentiment on both characters, because in the comics, they've always been far too goody-two-shoes. Personally, I always liked the Wonder Woman mythos in regards to their take on Amazons and such. The only thing I don't like, which some will find strange, is that the hidden island is "obviously" near the US, which is weird, seeing as all of these women are decidedly Greek in origin...
Oh, well. Comics, and all that...
Anyway, the current DC is obviously far more darker than those origins, except for in the animated shows, but in the live action movies of these particular characters, they've really pulled out all the stops. And as for Aquaman, I'm not sure if you're referring to the comics character or whatever trailers or pictures you've seen so far, but the comics character has always been kind of sappy and/or underwhelming. Marvel's Namor did a FAR better job of interpreting a true sea dweller and king of the oceans, but in the movies, they've done a VERY decent job of making him both believable and not at all ridiculous as a character. And like Gal Gadot in Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa is doing an excellent job of bringing the character to life, and giving him the aura of power he deserves, as ruler of the Earth's oceans.
Trust me, put it on your to watch list right next to Wonder Woman, and put both on your "to watch soon" list, instead of the regular "to watch" list...
Concerning Aquaman: if you ultimately still end up regretting having watched it, I'll buy you or treat you to a round of whatever, whenever I'll finally land on US shores again, and we'll get to have that beer and campfire talk, along with @bimmy-lee and @NintendoByNature, and maybe even @HobbitGamer.
Besides me having to somehow manage to collect the cash for that within a reasonable time frame (currently aiming for two years max), that's going to take one hell of a planning job, to get all these faces there at the same place and time, but maybe we'll manage...
@ThanosReXXX@Tyranexx I'll second thanos.. I really enjoyed aquaman and its worthy of a watch. But I've ALWAYS liked the character in general, so I could be biased.
Oh and did someone say "campfire and drinks"? Count me in! Whenever we can all have that long anticipated drink.
@NintendoByNature I'd gladly have you join us, but let's first get rid of that pesky virus, that's disrupting the entire world's normal state of affairs...

Two days ago my Switch Pro Controller Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Edition arrived, it's so pretty! And wow how a Pro Controller fits well in my hand! But pretty hard to get used to it for Splatoon 2
@Lugazz Well, on the one hand it's okay to post here, but on the other hand, if posts are decidedly topic-oriented, then you're better off posting in the relevant forum, which in this case would be the general Switch forum. This forum topic here is for general Chit-Chat about whatever.

This week i have a lot of time to finish my Ratchet & Clank PS3 games.
I have finished R&C 2 from Trilogy PS3 last Friday night. Just took 1 week to finish. 😁
Now i play R&C 3 Trilogy PS3 and already reached the part where Clank has been manipulated by Dr. Nefarious. It's already 50% of storyline. That was so fast. 😀
Edit: As i played R&C 3, i noticed there was a female robot named Courtney Gears. That was a parody of Britney Spears. 😂
@ogo79 Somebody forgot to add the bouillon to that soup there...
lol hell yeah

And yes, he is (usually) always right, and he is (almost) the sexiest gamer out there (not counting me) ;)
"Goody two-shoes" might be a good way to put it. Not that I don't like good characters by any means, but they can't just pretend they don't have character flaws lol.
I've always found Aquaman to be a bit underwhelming and half the time haven't liked portrayals of the character. His abilities are cool on paper, but when translated...I don't know, they just don't thrill me much. But I will give the movie a shot in the future, at any rate.
I'd be down for that campfire, though organizing it might prove to be quite interesting. We'd have to meet somewhere in the middle.
@NintendoByNature With a second opinion on the movie, how can I say no? I've never disliked the guy per se, like Wonder Woman I've always found him to be kinda meh. Though I haven't seen all portrayals of him. I just know all cartoon versions have been underwhelming.
Though his brief appearance in the Blackest Night comic arc wasn't bad at all, but he was...erm...different. In a not-so-great way.
@Tyranexx Yeah... that'd be a LOT easier to organize over here, and even then it would take some serious scheduling, so I can only imagine the "times x" trouble it takes to organize something like that over in the States. And besides all that, I only know the approximate whereabouts of you and @bimmy-lee, so I don't even know how far @NintendoByNature and @HobbitGamer are removed from either of your locations, but I suppose that, taking my current finances into account, that's a problem for another day...
As for Aquaman: forget the comics and/or animated version. Momoa is bringing it and then some, trust me.
I already liked him in Game of Thrones and the reboot of Conan, but personally, I feel that Aquaman is his finest hour yet.
I got treated to a rather nice gift today; Fossil Gen 5 smart watch. The lovely Wear OS integrates well with my smart home ecosystem. Sure, I'm probably contributing to the rise of Skynet, but I'm having such fun doing it! If y'all go underground you can escape Judgement Day and start building a time machine.
