Topic: The Chit-Chat Thread

I think being positive, or nurturing/participating in a nice online environment, has to be taught to a lot of people, or comes with maturity. That's been my theory.

@BruceCM Thanks. Although I have been here for awhile. I should come to expect these kind of people especially now with people being stuck at home.

This forum is generally good, @Tasuki .... It's relatively rare to get that sort of problem!

@BruceCM Yeah, I don't know, man. At least he's calmed down somewhat, so maybe he's not all that much of an idiot after all. Guess we'll ultimately find out, if he manages to stay around long enough...

@Tasuki Yeah, I saw that. Oh, well. Like I said to Bruce, we'll see how things will pan out. Oh, and I think @BruceCM meant the club of people trying to talk some sense into that guy, or who don't understand him, not the club of "I just joined Nintendo Life"...

@WoomyNNYes So, you're expecting him to be very young, then? I figure he's younger alright, but how much younger, is anyone's guess.

As for the game: that far into it already? Wow, the bank must have done something good for the game to really click that much with you...

@BruceCM @ThanosReXXX so yea, I read thru the botw one yesterday in the beginning, thought about replying and figured..."nah, not really worth my time." I believe it's one of the best games ever made, possibly THE best. I wasn't getting sucked into it. If they aren't into it, fine. I'm not mad about it. It's all opinions after all even if his is wrong 😉

As for the other thread, you know what i think about achievements? ........

Nothing!! That's why i didn't join in on that discussion 😉lol. I never got the whole achievements thing myself. It never added much to a game for me, nor did I ever look up achievements I wanted to unlock. Not to derail this thread, or anything. Just letting you know why i backed outta both threads haha.

@ThanosReXXX I dont play Animal Crossing, and I don't have any big AAA title on deck otherwise. I don't even have Uno, Thanos haha My niece likes Uno, but card games don't hold my attention.

@BruceCM very good! I did however, have to put it down for a short while last night to fire up paper Mario.

But as for ff9, I rescued garnet from the tower. And saved shortly after that. So I dont know where my next destination is, but im excited to find out.

By the way: you do also have kids, right? Or am I confusing you with someone else?

If the answer is yes, then you might also want to download that free Island Saver game. It basically teaches kids how to earn and save money, and all other things having to do with having a bank account, and on top of that, it's actually a pretty entertaining and relaxing game to play.

@WoomyNNYes Yeah... I've always been a sucker for card and board games. I've got several editions of Monopoly on several consoles and so on as well. It's basically because that's what we mostly played when I was young. We didn't have any consoles or handhelds. I only got one relatively late in life, and after that, I had to buy them myself, but I started out with an MSX home computer, and later on ended up in the Commodore Amiga zone. Only after that did I finally get my first console: the N64. Been with Nintendo ever since.
