@WiltonRoots - That is better. I’ll be sure to talk loud so you can hear me. I’ve been a drunken Zoom wizard as well, though my group skipped last week’s session. I think some of them are starting to get tired of it. I’m not. I’d rather be hanging out in person, but some (digital) contact with people is better than none at all. I didn’t know until Anti called me, but apparently we can video conference on IG now. Please go a bit deeper into Curry Club. I recently joined a food related gang known as The Biscuits and Gravy Boys, but that’s a breakfast gang. I don’t have a lunch or dinner gang. I’m open. I’ll get a tattoo or get beat down, whatever it takes.
@ThanosReXXX - I just meant that he usually keeps himself in check for a while after he comes back from a ban, but eventually he lets someone set him off. I respect how steadfast he holds to his convictions and restrictions, even though some of them are extreme and sometimes funny. I had a version of the talk you recommend a little while ago. Basically, we agreed that he just needs to ignore topics and conversations that run against his beliefs so that he doesn’t feel personally attacked and/or the need to defend his beliefs, but I guess he didn’t hold to it for very long.

We’ve been doing 5:00 pm Driveway Dance Parties for the last week hosted by DJ Jazzy Dad. I’ve been spinning some real bangers. It’s very 60s pop and 80s pop and punk centric. It’s my wife’s birthday, and I just got her electric tea kettle wrapped. We’ll do the gift exchange right in the middle of the dance party. I’m thinking I’ll play a Buddy Holly tune during the giving of the gift. Seems right.
@DenDen - It happens to me all the time and can go on for weeks. I just got over Heart of Glass by Blondie playing in my head for about a month. I’m glad my stupid brain has moved on. It was getting punishing. Why does it happen???
@NintendoByNature - Screw it, I’ll just blast a 30 minute loop of Baby Shark for Driveway Dance Party. People will really appreciate it.
@ThanosReXXX I assure you mate none of it gets me down, but it does get like a Spanish soap opera in there over the most trivial things which I do find hilarious! It looked like Harvest Moon was starting to get veins popping as well...but yeah I'll start poking my head in more.
@bimmy-lee Basically in the UK we have a chain of pubs called Wetherspoons, every day of the week they have different menus, Monday used to be Mexican Monday so it would be chilli, wraps etc, Steak Tuesday, Fish Friday, Wednesdays are Chicken Club and so on.
Thursdays are Curry Club. A choice of curry, samosa, bhaji, naan bread, poppadums and a pint for about £10 all in. We used to do Curry Club for lunch at work, so now we do it remotely. Fire up a video chat, talk crap while eating curry and having a beer. Good thing is we don't need to rush back to the office now and slightly less shop talk.
@bimmy-lee Then we're in agreement, because that's exactly my point: he starts out good, but eventually reverts back to that same behavior. And unlike you, me or others, he doesn't just temporarily lapse or something, he goes back all the way to square one. As if he must stick to whatever it is that he thinks how he should be. In general, I approve of and respect people with a core belief or principles, but once it becomes plain stupid or your principles start to work AGAINST you, then you should make some rigorous changes, and not just for a little while, but permanently.
And in regards to that, I haven't seen anything yet in all these instances of warnings and/or bans, that proves that he's able or willing to do that. And that's a shame, really because he's essentially one of the good guys, just not a very open-minded one...

On a side note: if you think that the Harvest Moon thread is bad, then you apparently haven't checked the comments section underneath the article about the offensive SNK/Samurai Shodown Tweet. That one is this week's absolute #1 dumpster fire, and full of opportunities for drinking games and/or bingo's. There's an idiot in there who calls himself TheFull.... , but from where I'm standing, it looks more like HalfWit...

And yes, Eminem's music is good. Lot of tongue twisters/breakers, though.
I've tried doing his songs several times, but there's only so many I can pull off.
Oh, and the answer to the question that now pops into your head is yes, I do sing every now and then.
