@Zuljaras speaking of old phones, I miss the Simpsons Meltdown game from circa 2008.
@thanosrexxx Ok, after couple more hours into Lego City Undercover, I like it now. It has an impressive in-game world. Surprised they haven't made a sequel. Or someone else hasn't made a family friendly open world GTA style game.
@Anti-Matter Please don't feel offended or insulted, but for just a few PAL games it sounds like it really would be worth you considering installing custom firmware on your 3DS. I know it is against your philosophy to do this, but if it's just to allow you to play games that you've legally bought then I would encourage you to try to open your mind towards the benefits. Region locking is a crime against humanity and we should all be free to run whatever compatible games we've bought.
@Heavyarms55 Ah, YES! I can't believe I forgot to mention Tokyo's Akihabara. That's definitely an area I'd like to check out. I had also forgotten about how many cafes and stores they have there that are themed to one particular franchise. Some articles here like the Kirby Cafe awhile back look like they're really creative - and tasty! The only downside to Tokyo (and most very large cities for me really) is that it sounds like a very busy, crowded place. I'm not the type who likes being packed into limited spaces with a lot of people for more than very brief periods of time. I get pretty anxious lol. Osaka sounds like it would be a little more my speed...but I'd also like to experience some of Tokyo.
Kyoto sounds very picturesque, especially that Sanjo area. I like getting out in nature for a couple hours every now and again, and tbh your description of what you like doing there sounds at least somewhat like what I'd enjoy doing. The shrines sound really cool, too; I have an interest in other cultures and various religions, and Japanese Shinto is one of them.
@Heavyarms55 No rush, man. You don't have to go out of your way looking for them, I'm just curious.
Of course, you could always take a couple of new ones, now that you know some new tricks for the smart phone camera...
@Zuljaras Yeah, Nokia definitely knew how to make sturdy mobile phones. Not like these flimsy "I'll completely shatter my display if you only drop me once" smart phones that we have nowadays...
@Octane Yeah, my bad. I replied to you in the wrong forum topic. Still can't see the picture, though. And I'm using Firefox, the best browser there is. What image uploader are you using? If it's Imgur or Imgbb, then it's no wonder that the picture doesn't show up for some of us. Those are notoriously bad and region-unfriendly image uploaders. That is why I always use PostImage. It's simply the best and most user-friendly image uploader out there.
@WoomyNNYes Ha! I just knew that it would grow on you...
As for why they never made a sequel, I'm considering two options: the first one is that it really isn't that old of a game that you'd already be able to expect a sequel, because this one took longer to make than the average LEGO title, because of the whole open world thing. The second option is that they really got infected with the open world bug because of having made this game, and that's why we now have LEGO World, so if that is the case, then World is more or less the spiritual successor to City Undercover.
I can't stand quarantine anymore. Like I really hope in a few months we'll clear out in the U.S. and we'll be able to go to a sort of "normal". My city's supposed to host the RNC this year and I was looking forward to making a satirical video about it, but now I doubt anything's going to happen because of coronavirus.
I don't like Monster Hunter.

I'm probably listening to green day right now.
@Lucarianzx Well, I for one wouldn't miss a political debate at all. Making a satirical video about it on the other hand...
But in all seriousness: yeah, this lock-down, social distancing and work at home business is REALLY getting under my skin as well, and I'm going to assume we're far from the only ones who feel that way. But when I see idiots protesting against it, all huddled together, then I also feel like it's going to take longer than it should, because while most of us are adhering to the rules, these idiots think that they know better, and just do whatever the hell they want.
And yet, it's somehow always these kinds of people that'll dodge any bullet and will happily dance along through every bad decision that they make in life, possibly (negatively) affecting the lives of dozens if not hundreds of others, all while never suffering any of the consequences themselves. Ugghh...
@Zuljaras see I was anti-social but the past 6 months I've really been getting out of the house to film stuff and now coronavirus ruined it. To be fair though I would rather stay home keep myself safe and the community safe than go outside like those protesters.

@ThanosReXXX Well after the cyclops I want to do Euryale. It is already chosen!
@Lucarianzx Absolutely true! I hear people telling other people that it is their choice to go outside and socialise. It is their freedom and right. I call it idiotism. Rights and Freedom must be forgotten in case of pandemic. By having their choice they endanger people who might be vulnerable to the virus. But they are not thinking like that and start to spread rumours about "Fake virus!", "Corona does not exist!" and "Government are lying to us about the pandemic!"
@Zuljaras So, ever since the cyclops it's all Greek mythology, then?
Mind you, I'm not complaining: I just LOVE Greek mythology, so besides Marvel, Greek mythology is also partially responsible for choosing the username that I did...
'The console wars are like boobs: Sony and Microsoft fight over which ones look the nicest and Nintendo's are the most fun to play with.'
@Zuljaras Well, a derivative of it, obviously. Thanos is not directly referred to in Greek mythology, but the god named Thanatos, who's name has a similar meaning, does frequently appear.
@gcunit
I'm sorry but i will not break my promise to jailbreak the machine whatever its situation.
I have stopped playing with any jailbroken machines and pirated games since 2014.
1 year without pirated games and it changed my mind forever.
Actually i want to ask something.
I heard All Jailbroken 3DS machines (CFW) can be reverted back to Normal like it has never been jailbroken.
But i still questioning one thing.
Will my 3DS machine still safe after being reverted back to Normal and NOT get bricked when i access eshop (ex Jailbroken 3DS machine accessing eshop)?
This is one important question for me because actually i found a New 2DS XL PAL version from Tokopedia but the machines has been jailbroken with CFW luma (Aaaaagh...!!! 😫😠 I felt angry when i found the machine i wanted to buy but already cheated)
One thing. My PS3 Slim i bought last 29 December 2019 was actually an EX jailbroken PS3 but it has been reverted back to Normal and it was safe to access PSN page and got updates for my PS3 games.
I went through all of my kitchen cabinets and drawers after finishing work earlier. Needless to say quite a few things will be getting donated, given away, and recycled when I'm able to do so. That just leaves the inside of the stove; I haven't given the poor thing a good cleaning in a couple of years, though until a couple of years ago I didn't really use the oven that much. It isn't in terrible shape, but it's definitely due for a good scrubbing.
I did also sneak down to the school I've talked about before and managed to walk around on the pavement and their old sand track a bit. I'm not the only one taking advantage of how deserted the area is to exercise, but the other people are few and far between since the building is most easily accessed by vehicle or bike. It's sort of in the middle of nowhere even though it's barely in the town limits.
Doing my internet rounds now, then going to shower and spend some time yelling at my units and the RNG in Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright.
@ogo79 Doing great! You? Sounds like you're well equipped! I have my own ample supply of bathroom tissue and germicide compounds with which to torment the masses. They WILL be clean!
my kinda gal
Our reign of cleaning will know no bounds!
...Man, now I feel old. XD
yeah i made 2 grocery runs myself and survived.
i think i made 6 people pass out due to covering my body with hand sanitizer. i mean body sanitizer.
you feel old?
im 40.
40 years young

@Tyranexx I consider Tokyo a place I love to visit but would not want to live there, for the same reasons. But I'd love to live in Kyoto or Osaka.
On another note, while the shrines and temples are definitely related to Shinto and Buddhism, religion in Japan is very very different than in the west. You'll see people in America all the time who say "I'm Catholic." or "I'm Muslim" or whatever they choose to identify as. But that very mindset is foreign in Japan. The only time I've ever had a Japanese person say "I'm Buddhist" was in comparing himself to westerners and trying to emulate that western style of identifying himself. Most Japanese people do practice Shinto and Buddhist traditions, but the identity aspect is totally different. To them, they're just Japanese and those traditions are Japanese traditions.
@ThanosReXXX I probably will take some new ones, assuming normal travel is ever allowed again.
