Back in the late 2000s there was this Nintendo magazine I really liked, called NGamer Brazil (it was the brazilian version of the original british magazine). They had a sense of humor I really enjoyed and would always review some unusual/obscure titles.
Back then printed media was dying over here (though I enjoyed collecting magazines), and it only lasted between 2007-2010, with 41 issues in total.
I have about 10 issues and sometimes think about completing the collection but they are kinda expensive in online sites, not to mention some issues are more rare to find and by buying from different sellers, thats more shipping costs, so yeah...
This blue eye perceives all things conjoined. The past, the future, and the present. Everything flows and all is connected. This eye is not merely seen reality. It is touching the truth. Open the eye of truth... There is nothing to fear.
On a side note: if the topic REALLY is of interest to you, then you might seriously want to look into those two suggestions I made: Samsung Galaxy S8 + keyboard cover or the Blackberry Priv, with the full-fledged, slide out keyboard.
@Heavyarms55 Of course not, my friend. It was just me stating the obvious. But having said that, you also don't want to be THAT guy, who still rocks his 2001 phone in the 2020's. At least, personally, I wouldn't want to be THAT much behind the times, but that's just me. If you beg to differ, I might seriously start to consider nicknaming you Gibbs...
Recently i lost my appetite with my Switch games. 😔
Not because suddenly i changed my mind about Nintendo Switch games.
I felt something like anxiety between Covid-19 pandemic and worries for not getting 3DS machine PAL version.
I have a target to get 3DS or 2DS XL machine PAL version on this year as i have the PAL 3DS games last year.
And the virus pandemic completely ruin my plans to get ACNH with acceptable price. It was totally chaos. The price was insane due to weaken exchange rate.
It's 2.22 am here, still stay awaken and feel lonely. 😞
@bimmy-lee
How is it going on your place recently ?
Have you check my sneak peek of Ice Skate Boxer Axel ?
@Anti-Matter have you considered digital? and as @zuljaras said importing from Europe isn't a bad idea nor is Japan as it is closer to Indonesia. Coronavirus really is ruining everything, but if the faster we listen to the government, the faster we can go back into society. Not in the U.S. though because of our incompetence. It sucks.
I don't like Monster Hunter.

I'm probably listening to green day right now.
@Anti-Matter You're not alone, I've been anxious about this virus situation too. I'm honestly tired of being home all the time. Today I did go out to lunch by picking it up via drive-thru, and sat in a mostly empty parking lot to eat just to get away from home for a bit.
Similarly with gaming, I ended up ordering a second set of Joy-Cons just in event mine drift. Nintendo of America's repair center is closed, so if my current Joy-Cons drifts, then I have to wait for the free repair Nintendo offers.
@Lucarianzx
No way !
I have bought two 3DS games Europe version last year but still haven't bought the machine.
Actually, i found 1 New 2DS XL PAL White color from Tokopedia. It just only 1 left. I have asked the owner game shop at Pasar Atum to order and keep that New 2DS XL PAL so it will not bought by someone else. Then, i can buy the machine from him as he kept for 1 month while i need to get another salary to purchase the machine. And i hope my plan work.
@Sunsy
What is your 3DS region ?
USA or PAL ?
I want a list of European game shop that can deliver overseas including Indonesia.
From what i have searched from Google, both New 3DS XL and New 2DS XL PAL version were really hard to find. Most of them have been sold out. 😔
I need 3DS PAL machine just only to play Dillon's Dead Heat Breakers, New Style Boutique 3: Styling Star as the only PAL version in physical release since the USA version didn't have physical release (Stupid region lock). And also some hard to get USA 3DS games such as Yokai Watch 3, Girls Fashion Shoot (i have this game last year).
Also, some mediocre but acceptable 3DS games such as Hello Kitty & Friends: Rockin' World Tour (PAL version in physical) , Fossil Fighter Frontier (despite there is an USA version too but i found dirt cheap on PAL version) and other 3DS games i will add later.
@ThanosReXXX If my current phone still works fine in 19 years, I would be thrilled and happily still using! I would not care to be "that guy" at all!
But we all know companies forcibly obsolete phones with mandatory software updates way before that. And outright drop support. By that point I wouldn't even be likely to be able to make a call with it.

@Anti-Matter My 3DS is for the US region. I'm afraid I do not know any place that would have a European/PAL model 3DS. Most of the stores where I live are either GameStops or big chain stores like Target and Walmart.
I survived my grocery run this evening. I'm trying to keep them to about every two weeks. I don't eat a ton of canned food and eat a lot of fresh or flash-frozen food. Produce unfortunately only lasts for so long. Since I was in town anyway, I decided to support a local business and did takeout on their personal pizza/salad special. I'd have them deliver, but they won't come out quite as far as my house. I'm not too far out of the town limits, but most places won't come all the way out here. There are a lot of subdivisions nearby, so you'd think they'd make some exceptions, but eh.
Besides working, I've decided to go through some of my storage and hope to deep clean my kitchen this weekend. Apologies if replies are a long time in coming.
@ogo79 Doing great! You? Sounds like you're well equipped! I have my own ample supply of bathroom tissue and germicide compounds with which to torment the masses. They WILL be clean!
my kinda gal
Our reign of cleaning will know no bounds!
@Heavyarms55 What do you like about each of those three cities? If by some miracle I ever make it to Japan, I'm curious to know what places are worth checking out. Besides Nintendo's Kyoto headquarters (at least the outside ) anyway.
I wouldn't mind Tokyo Disney either, but that might be a bit too touristy for my liking....Plus, I don't know about there, but Disney here has gotten pretty expensive. The price coupled with distance means I probably won't get back there for a bit yet. I last went to Disney World with my family back in 2011.
I made homemade tacos for dinner and I cooked the meat with habanero directly in it, alongside my usual spice mixture. I'm probably going to regret this decision in a while. But it was darn good!
@Tyranexx Okay so Tokyo is one of the biggest cities in the world. You could explore for weeks and still be finding new things to do. You can find almost anything to eat there. Amazing bars, and the most international community in Japan - and a very different international mix than I ever saw in the US. But my personal favorite (I bet you'd never have guessed) is Akihabara. "DenDen Town". There are 8 story tall arcades! There are stores full of everything anime you ever imagined and a thousand things you didn't! There are game stores with everything going back all the was to the 1970s. Maid, cat, ninja and specific anime themed cafes! I could go on and on.
The downside to Tokyo is that, being a massive city with a large international population - people are a little cold. Everyone is there to do their own thing, everyone is in a hurry and by consequence, you kinda have to be too.
Kyoto is the city of shrines. One of the oldest major cities in the world, Kyoto has buildings that have stood since before Columbus landed in the "new" world. There's so much history to experience in Kyoto it's really epic. But my favorite part of Kyoto is an area called Sanjo. A big river runs through that part of the city and the banks are set aside as walking paths/park area. It's so much nature right in the middle of a city. And the districts alongside the river are full of bars, restaurants, shopping, movie theaters, cafes, and so on. Great spots for dates, hanging with friends or relaxing on your own. My personal favorite thing to do is go out to Kyoto in the late morning, grab lunch, spend the afternoon playing games at a coffee shop right on the river, then when evening rolls around, walk up and down the river just enjoying the atmosphere and festivities. I've seen street performers, fire breathers, and all sorts. I've ended up in tri-lingual conversations (English, Spanish and Japanese) with a group of locals, Mexicans, Americans and Brits all just randomly sitting on the bank of the river drinking and having a good time!
Osaka is in a lot of ways, like a slightly smaller, more relaxed version of Tokyo. It has everything Tokyo has, but just not quite as much. As a result, everything is more relaxed and more spread out.
On another note, I've never bothered with Tokyo Disney. In part because I'm not a big Disney fan, but mostly I just don't imagine it being all the different than any other theme park. Nothing anyone has told me about it suggests otherwise.
Also 2011 isn't that long ago. I was just starting my second year of uni at that point.
I felt really depressed... 😢
There was No More 3DS PAL machine left in Indonesia. 😫😭
I really want to find someone or local shop at my country can order 3DS or 2DS XL PAL region and deliver to Indonesia.
Actually i have both Dillon's Dead Heat Breakers in different region.
USA = digital on my New 3DS XL USA
PAL = physical, still waiting for 3DS PAL machine.
I still can play that game on my USA 3DS but i prefer to play with real cartridge.
@Octane Using the wrong image uploader again, huh?
The image doesn't show up. It says "Untitled" instead.
You didn't mention it cost that many coins to get one, though. I thought you meant that members just got one as a farewell gift. But I could have expected that Nintendo wouldn't be THAT generous...
@Heavyarms55 Back in the day, I had a Nokia 3210, and contrary to modern phones, it just kept on functioning, no matter how much torture it endured. I think I dropped it dozens of times, and you'd just click the parts back together and it worked again. I actually still have it, for sentimental reasons...
But having said that, I do like to keep up to date to SOME degree. I never have the latest of the latest, so I don't stand in line at the phone shop for a midnight sale of the latest model, but I do like to be able to use the apps I want to use, and obviously be able to make some nice pictures and videos.
By the way: Kyoto sounds like absolutely wonderful photo material, so I'd be curious to see some pics of that, if you happen to have some of your own. Then again: as a simple but very interested Westerner, just about every city is interesting to me, so pictures of 8 storey arcade halls would also be perfectly fine...
On a side note: so, you feel that almost a decade is not that long ago, huh? Just wait until you get older, then EVERY year starts to count, and while days go by quicker than you'd like, even 5 years will start to feel like eons ago...
'The console wars are like boobs: Sony and Microsoft fight over which ones look the nicest and Nintendo's are the most fun to play with.'
@ThanosReXXX Took me a while to figure out to what you were replying. But the image works fine for me. Maybe it's your browser? Some are a bit finicky like that.
