@ThanosReXXX I ment the country's in Europe. We are the only one who is not in total lockdown. Rumors are also that they are now placing 5G antennes during the corona virus.
Have a nice day. Voiceactor: The Pirates! (Sony/Aardman 2012) - The Passion: A Brickfilm (Neema 2019) - The Torchlighters: The Story of John Newton (Vision Video 2022) - [NEW] Minno's Laugh and Grow Bible (Minno - 2024)
@reporterdavid Haha I read that too about the 5G. Some people are extremely stupid. I read that on cutaways from Facebook Groups of Moms and "Theory" crafters. There is no way that normal people would believe that.
There are also people that don't believe Covid-19 even exists. Mindless idiots just like Flat-Earthers
Well, this is a weird, new experience for me: I just got my meds delivered to my door, whereas I'd normally go out and pick them up from the apothecary myself. They rang the bell, I opened the door, and they left the package in the hall downstairs, so I could pick it up there. Other than the doorbell ringing and the message through the intercom, no human interaction whatsoever. Weird...

@Zuljaras Oh, THAT myth. I was just thinking about improved mobile internet, NOT about mind control plots from the government or large media companies...

@ThanosReXXX it's the new way of life unfortunately. If cell phones didn't already halt 1 on 1 interaction, This virus is going to completely solidify the decline in human interaction. I'm slightly exaggerating, but kinda serious too.
@NintendoByNature Yeah it's weird. I was actually a bit surprised when I answered the door and the guy said through the intercom that he was delivering my meds, because I expected to get an e-mail when I could pick them up, as usually happens. So, because of that kinda throwing me off, I asked him "so, how do we go about this then, what with the whole current situation going on?" and he said that he could either leave the package in the hall, or put it in the elevator and send it up.
I decided to let him leave it in the hall, so I could take the three flights of stairs down to pick it up: that's at least some physical exercise...
@ThanosReXXX haha yea. Its the little things you find your self appreciating more and more now. Simple walk thru a store, going to the park with the kids, seeing a movie. Or exercise like you said. Most I do is walk a few times a day around the neighborhood.
Stuck at home for my birthday because of obvious reasons. On the brighter side of things, I got a new Princess Peach shirt and Super Mario Party as gifts, and enjoying those all morning. Nothing better to do, so thought I'd stop by.

@Zuljaras Covid2019 is really there... but people just don't want to listen. People have to keep distance, also on the street. In Holland it is different then in Spain. In Spain you can even go to jail for not obeying the rules.

@Sunsy Well, happy birthday, in any case. Not how anyone would want to celebrate it, I suppose, but it'll have to do for now. I'll have practically the same scenario next month, which was supposed to be a BIG party, because I'm going to be hitting that half a century button. But due to the whole situation we're in, it's probably going to be a WhatsApp party...
@T7Hokage017 No sane person, most likely. But here we are, and for the time being, we're just going to have to go through the motions of the scenarios that our respective governments have put in place. No one has to like it, but it's just the way it is, so all we can do is take good care of ourselves and our loved ones, and hope that the light at the end of the tunnel isn't too far away...

@T7Hokage017 Thank you. Hasn't been too bad so far. Having fun with Super Mario Party's mini-games, and I have some online gaming plans with my friends later tonight.
@ThanosReXXX Thank you, same boat. I had plans to have cake and dinner with the family, but I'm going to wait for that until this situation is over. I do plan to play a game with my friends online tonight, and voice chat, so there's that to look forward to. Going to be Paladins as it supports cross-play, one of my friends plays on Xbox, the other on Switch.

The weather is absolutely gorgeous here today and is supposed to be as nice tomorrow before it cools down again. I have my windows cracked open and am itching to get outside....Alas, I must work. I might sneak out for a short walk later, however.
@NintendoByNature My pipe dream isn't to fully get rid of my backlog - I like options - but I wanna get into a position where it only has about 4-5 games and I'd be more comfortable with picking games up during sales...within reason. XD Plus I want to get where I'd be more comfortable with revisiting some favorites in my current gaming library on occasion.
@ThanosReXXX Y-you mean you DON'T like spam? ...What about eggs, sausage, bacon, and spam?
@Sunsy Happy birthday! I hope that it's a good one despite the circumstances.
@Tyranexx yea for sure. Up until about 2 months ago I had about 10 games in my backlog. I've been able to dwindle it down but now i built it back up. It's at 18 but it's a mix of Wii u and switch games. Mostly Wii u games and only a handful of switch games. So it's not too bad..
@Tyranexx Nah, I like fresh foods. I haven't hoarded any canned goods either...
@NintendoByNature You call that a back log? That's just a palette of game choices. A backlog has to at least be well into the double digits for it to count (meaning several dozens or more). Suffice to say that I'm already quite confident that I'll NEVER get through mine, unless I somehow manage to become 120 or 130, with good enough manual and cerebral reflexes, to still be able to play and enjoy them.
And even that wouldn't be enough, because I keep buying and collecting, for the simple reasons that certain games belong to certain consoles or handhelds, so these are the must-buys, and then there's the secondary category of games that are also simply too good to ignore or not to own, so these go into the collection as well. So, what that basically boils down to, is that I have a backlog that started quite diminutive on the N64, but has taken MASSIVE strides ever since the GameCube, and with each consecutive I've console bought, more and more were added.
Only now, with the Xbox One and the Switch, has the collecting of new games gone down a bit again, but that's mainly a financial situation thing, not so much a lack of titles or a lack of desire to want to collect them.
@NintendoByNature Most of my backlog is spread out across the DS, 3DS, and Switch right now. I temporarily cleared my Wii U backlog last year, but I picked up Tokyo Mirage Sessions for the system shortly before the Switch release came out since it was so cheap. XD I still haven't played it and have no idea when I'll get around to doing so.
@ThanosReXXX Good choice. Not that I dislike canned goods, but I don't make it a habit to eat them very often.
@Sunsy Good to hear! Honestly, as an introvert, that's part of my ideal birthday: staying home and playing video games.
@Tyranexx niiiice. Most of my Wii u games are short thankfully. My switch games are the longest. @thanosrexxx yea I hear you. It still gives me anxiety to have anything close to 10 games.
@Tyranexx I mostly use them in dishes, where I mix them with fresh ingredients, such as when I make chili con carne, then I'd typically have a couple of cans of chili beans (basically kidney or pinto beans in chili sauce) and a can of crispy sweet corn. Then the rest of it, the ground meat and all the various vegetables I add in are all freshly bought and/or cut. I actually made a whole batch last Sunday. Ate some of it, and divided the rest into 7 portions and put them in the freezer.
@NintendoByNature I've gone through that cycle already, quite a few years back, and then at some point,
I simply decided not to worry or care about it too much anymore, seeing as it served no purpose other than to drive up my anxiety over something that's ultimately just a hobby.
And nowadays, I'm in the state of mind that I think to myself: "And so what if I never finish any of these games, or never touch some of them at all? At least I'll still own them, in case I actually DO want to play them, which is better than not having them and always be wondering or regretting not having bought them in the first place".
