@bimmy-lee well there ya go..all is well that ends well. I'm thinking of Cubans this weekend i think, now. I almost always make them after I throw a pork roast in the crock pot. Left overs make for a good cuban.
Does anyone know if the definitely not the Easter bunny is hiding definitely not Easter eggs every day for the duration of the spring bunny event in AC, or are the hidden eggs a one time shot? I’m asking because I didn’t get to play with my kids today, and I don’t want to find eggs without them tonight if it’s a one time thing.
@NintendoByNature - I crush Cuban sammies. Pork and ham? Two pig products in one sandwich?!? It’s as if someone had me in mind when they created that one. If only they could have worked bacon into the sandwich as well! I’ve never made them at home, but they’re an insta order when I’m out to eat.

@bimmy-lee yea i don't know about the eggs but I caught some myself today. I haven't had a chance to play with the kids yet today but maybe tonight or tomorrow I'll try with them
Yea man, pork and ham. It's really all you need, minus the bacon like you said. Add in the pickles, yellow mustard, and swiss. All of that on a good loaf of bread, crusted to perfection. My mouth is watering.
When we go up north to Wisconsin for fishing usually every year, we go to this bar and grill called 'critters'. No I'm not joking. Wait for it........its also a bait shop and ammo store haha. But it's a pretty solid place to grab some beer and a Sammie. The reason I bring it up, is because every time im there, I get 1 thing and 1 thing only. The Whole Hog Sandwich. A huge pork chop(broiled or fried), sliced Ham, and bacon on a solid burger bun. My dad still tells the only reason I want to drive 3.5 hours up north is for that sandwich, and not the fishing lol.
@NintendoByNature Now I want to see a whole AC island full of food trucks. Some for each type of food truck food you can imagine. Even some of the dodgy fair fare. XD
@bimmy-lee They're probably making some obscene profits behind the scenes with those weeds by crafting rare, fashionable objects and selling them to the highest bidder off the island. All behind Tom's nose. Maybe they'll overthrow him one day....
That or they feel sorry that their dad makes the player pay an obscene amount of Bells.
@NintendoByNature I've heard of that. I'm still trying to figure out who'd eat that unhealthy concoction. XD (I'd try it, but would definitely share it lol) I think the weirdest fair food I've had is pizza on a stick. It was good, but not worth the price lol.
But yep, ALL the food trucks! From the reasonable to the weird.
@Tyranexx Yeah, the music was good too, so all in all, besides the obvious cringey parts, it wasn't nearly as bad as some make it out to be.
On a side note: saw you mentioning reading, and it suddenly reminded me of that Greek mythology book that I recommended to you some time ago. Did you get that or not? I don't remember, but what I do know, is that it is perfect reading material for obligatory staying at home days...
@Heavyarms55 Noted. I will add you, once I get the game. But as mentioned, that's going to take at least another month, probably two. I'll first have to wait and see if I'll have any surplus budget left at the end of May, and if not, or only a little, then that's definitely not going towards any new game purchases.

@Tyranexx lol I don't think I would ever try It, and i usually try anything at least once. It doesn't even sound good. Now deep fried snickers or Oreos, I'm all for it. But a stick of butter? They probably ran out of corn dogs

@NintendoByNature - Good lord, it took me five tries to read that post because I kept blacking out while reading about a whole hog sandwich. Nothing has ever sounded so wonderful. Please, take me to Critters with you. Please! That sounds like the most Midwest place ever. Bait. Ammo. Pig sandwiches. Beer. I’m so in. Bet they serve a mean raccoon rib sandwich. It probably blows the rat meat McRib outta the water.

@ThanosReXXX I'll be around. The plus side to getting the game later will be you'll have a bunch of people able to hook you up with all the goodies right away. You probably wont have to go around hunting.

@ThanosReXXX I haven't bought that book yet, unfortunately. I lightheartedly complain about my game backlog on occasion, but there's also a bit of a booklog as well. XD I've had to cut back on those purchases too. I went a little nuts at one point last year. I've had to ban myself from Barnes and Noble for a while.
@NintendoByNature I'd definitely try deep fried Snickers or Oreos as I love both. Almost anything in the chocolate department (barring a couple of exceptions to the rule) is welcome in my book. There's a reason I don't keep a lot of that around the house.

@NintendoByNature Your comment reminds me of high school. I used to not eat all day, and then just eat an entire Little Caesar's "Hot and Ready" 5 dollar pizza in one sitting. Not the greatest pizza, but a lot of food for very cheap.
Been a few years since I've been back in the states. Do they still do that? I imagine the price must be higher now.

@heavyarms55 That's funny. Like 25 people added me from here using the friend code, and I have no idea who they are on here, or if they even have NL accounts. (actually MarkL1987 is one, but I rarely see them active on here). In my signature it says "I only add people if you tag me & say hi". Since I added that, I've gotten like eight Switch friend requests, and only one person said hi. And now I forget who they were. haha
@NintendoByNature regarding cookies. I like the ER part of the cookies bit.
