Have a great day today. May I ask... are there some people who believe in God here? Would love to know to see some fellow believers
Have a nice day. Voiceactor: The Pirates! (Sony/Aardman 2012) - The Passion: A Brickfilm (Neema 2019) - The Torchlighters: The Story of John Newton (Vision Video 2022) - [NEW] Minno's Laugh and Grow Bible (Minno - 2024)
@reporterdavid
I'm not really a religious people despite i got Christian education for 12 years since grade 1 until grade 12. But i paid visit to nearest Chinese temple to pray as my family tradition.
As i grow up, I was thinking Eden from Bible was an incognito of High Tech Laboratory and Earth was a prison of us due to some conspiracy or something that founded on SciFi movies.
@Zuljaras Nintendo news is at an all time drought nowadays and it's all Nintendo's fault for not having a Direct before Animal Crossing. We had more news coming out of those NX rumours in summer 2016 than we have nowadays.
@Grumblevolcano This is true, but still no one is 100% obliged to give information just for 3rd parties to have content right?
As if everyone is forced to give journalists info so they could keep their jobs. That is why journalism nowadays are paparazzi with very questionable morale that prefer to post lies or poostorms to boost their ratings.
Has anyone else been having an issue with YouTube lately? Almost every time I click on a video, I get an error - one that always goes away after a single refresh. It's really weird.

@NintendoByNature You've NEVER played an Animal Crossing game? REALLY? And you call yourself "NintendoByNature".... tsss....
@Tyranexx Jousting umbrella. Now that's something I'd like to see happening in real life. I can already imagine how that might go down...
Do you also use that on Black Friday? Probably not, because it'll likely get crushed in the crowd of idiots...
@reporterdave Although we in the Chit-Chat thread are social and open-minded in general, there are still the site rules to take into account, and discussions about politics and religion, to name but a few, are not allowed on here. I would kindly advise you to heed those rules in order to prevent yourself from doing something that might result in you getting a warning or a ban.
But other than that, feel welcome and feel free to talk about whatever else bothers or pleases you.
@Heavyarms55 Yeah, the "I hate Brie" idiots are at it again. They're so strung up and vindictive, that they'll still be rehashing their tired opinions on her in about 10 to 15 years from now, because, you know, it's cool to hate and never forgive or forget. It's pathetic, really.

@ThanosReXXX - It’s like people got so scared about a hypothetical toilet paper crisis that they just went out and created a real toilet paper crisis. I’m totally with you, constipation for all the ridiculous panic buyers, it’s the very least they deserve. We scored a Costco bundle of TP packages yesterday, so we’re good for a while. Hope you’re able to get some soon. Consider baby wipes in an emergency, they’ve been slightly more available than TP around here for some reason.
@HobbitGamer - This game is hilarious dude. I played some last night, but promised my kids I’d save a bunch of stuff for them today. I still haven’t acquired the DIY recipe for the pole, so I can’t vault rivers yet. I want to see your island and goof around with you. I’ll probably be developing mine at a slower pace with the kiddos. We have cherries for our fruit. We have different things on our islands I think, right? Release the poo.
@NintendoByNature - I spent my first few hours with AC yesterday, and I immediately got it. It’s pure escapism. There’s very little “game” in there, yet it’s super compelling to just do stuff, collect stuff, and make stuff so you can do and collect more stuff. It’ll be clear to you in about five minutes if it’s something you love, or not for you at all. It should definitely have a demo for that reason, but probably doesn’t have a demo for that reason.
I know you like a challenge, and that’s not here from what I’ve seen, but I know you also like character progression, and that’s here in spades. Fishing isn’t really skill based, it’s purely a mini game and only consists of hitting a button at the right time. It’s a bit disappointing and simple, but still oddly fun. Figured you’d like to know about that activity in particular. Personally, I’ve spent the last 24 hours thinking about it every minute I haven’t spent playing it, and I might have dreamed about it last night.
@Tyranexx - I imagine, “Release the poo”, in a loud, booming Zeus voice. “Poseidon... release the POO!!!” There was another Zoom meeting Last night that I skipped in order to play games. I need to make one of these here soon to see what it’s all about. I’ve never used Discord either.
@Zuljaras Oh, they'll remember her alright: hate is like wine. It gets richer with age...
@NintendoByNature Because it's SO relaxing to play, because you don't HAVE to do anything in the game, other than live and enjoy life and the environment. It's a VERY mellow game, and we older people like to relax from time to time, especially when we've had a crappy day at work...
@Eel Well, as long as it isn't about a princess recycling or reusing toilet paper, it might even be somewhat of an interesting twist to the tale...

@bimmy-lee I'm going to give it another try in half an hour. Trip to the local store, see what they have, or haven't. Probably going to be in vain, but the weather's nice, so at least I'll get a healthy stroll out of it, and some much needed vitamin B...
As for Greek Gods yelling stuff about releasing excrement, I'd say that the God of the underworld might be a more fitting suspect for that, than the All-Father of them or the one that manages the oceans...
@bimmy-lee I'm in agreement with you, a demo would be nice. And I really appreciate all the insight. I kind of understood the Game, but never played more than say 5 minutes of new leaf with my daughter. Not sure why, 15 or so years after the first game I want to dive in. Maybe seeing you guys talk about it and all the NL articles. Or maybe it's the doom n gloom mixture of bad Chicago weather and corona virus talk thats got me wanting something pleasant.
Either way, I'm more likely to pull the trigger than not. Might stop at Wal-Mart today before the stay at home order we have. Problem is my backlog just got a little bigger with doom 64, ff7 and dragon quest just bring purchased this week. I at least finished darksiders 2 last night which takes a big game off the list. But i have those 3 games I mentioned, assassin's creed rebel collection and most of III. So should i get It? Probabaly not. Do i have self control? Nope. So you, eel, hobbit and I can share stuff from each others towns?
@ThanosReXXX some people do not understand AC because of its gameplay. For some no action = no fun. Sad. I played it for just 1-2 hours and it is relaxing. You don't have to worry about difficulty etc.
@Zuljaras@NintendoByNature Indeed. It's VERY relaxing, and especially what with people being cooped up with each other due to all the virus trouble, this is an excellent way to escape all the daily troubles.
On a side note: Go Vacation is another one of those titles, and one that I'd also especially recommend to people with children.
@NintendoByNature Oh, and yes, you can share stuff or make stuff for or on each other's islands, and you can also visit and do a little bit of vandalism or graffiti, if you like...
