Yeah people like fried banana here too. Though I'm not much of a fan of cooked bananas, which is why I went for bread. The ones in your picture look pretty good though.

The bread came out as a dense lump of banana something, it didn't expand at all. It tastes so good though!

I'll have to try a different recipe. I still have plenty bananas left.

@Eel maaan, I love me some dense banana bread. Oh, and I did get New Horizons digital, and then saw Ninty confirmed it’s playable at midnight ET. So in three hours.

I was given tomorrow off, after an executive went to bat for me after yesterday’s fiasco. (I won’t go into it all, but it did involve a rather unwarranted confrontational discussion with me by the ceo in front of multiple folks). And today I had quite a few execs, senior mgmt, and field staff call me and email me appreciation and such. So that was nice. But I still only slept about 4 hours. 😅

@HobbitGamer Aw I probably won't have mine until like next wednesday, if I'm lucky. Enjoy! I think I'll just play Wild World and pretend that's the new game.

I usually freeze bananas before they go bad and use them in smoothies. We’ve had crap, rainy weather galore, and it is adding a serious level of difficulty to proceedings. It feels a bit trollish if I’m being honest, and I don’t like it one bit. Nope.

@Tyranexx - I hope day two of work from home project 2020 went a bit smoother. Or is it still day one... I’m not even sure anymore. I’ve read too many Little Golden Books this week to be completely sure on which day it is currently.

@ThanosReXXX - You devil, you. The empty streets and shelves you mentioned are beyond strange. I haven’t done much for a week, but I’ve been out a few evenings to pick up some things and it’s really eerie. I ran into a friend on one excursion, and we almost greeted with a hug out of habit. Instead we bumped elbows and tried to stay far apart while making small talk. So weird.

@HobbitGamer - That’s too bad about Lumbergh being a jerk, but maybe a tiny bit worth it to get a three day weekend with fresh AC?

@Eel - I thought you got AC early when I read about your banana harvest. I seriously wish I could grow bananas (and citrus) in my back yard. Do the banana trees require much work beyond watering?

I don't really know if they're hard to grow, the plant is just kinda there in our garden.

My dad does take a lot of care for our garden, but it's not like he gives special attention to this one in particular. I think it's just one of those plants that continually regrow on their own if they like their spot.

Coincidentally this place is also great for growing oranges, wish our navel orange tree was still alive. It gave the absolute best oranges.

@bimmy-lee Ya know, y’all have mentioned it before, but my work life is so close to Initech it’s eerie sometimes. And last night while I sat in my building alone, furiously scribbling notes on worksheets and programming new clinical codes into the software, I did keep thinking “Maybe I can connive my way into a three day weekend “. Now if I can just stay awake for 13 minutes, the rush of a new game will energize me a bit.

@Eel - I’m sure you have perfect banana and citrus weather. That would be fun. It would be cool to see what your dad grows in his garden. A garden around here is pretty basic in comparison.

I patiently waited all day until 12AM to load up Animal Crossing and it says, "You cannot play the software yet."

@Bimmy-lee Our garden is a mess, he just continually adds new plants, and very few of them are actually useful.

About bananas, I was reading they just need the right combination of moisture and sunlight. And a warm place to stay when it’s cold.

@bimmy-lee Officially day 1 still. Everything went smooth for the most part, though our first ever Zoom meeting for our daily standup session was a bit wonky at first. Many of us had to adjust a few things. I don't have any sort of microphone since I'm not the recording type and don't have a need for a Bluetooth headset with one. I had to make do with the built in mic in my laptop. It was...doable.

@Tyranexx Hope I didn't offend you with that little tongue in cheek comment...

@bimmy-lee Yeah, it's oddness all over, when meeting other people. And the world has become a strange place, for the time being. It's probably going to last another month or two, but here's hoping it's not going to be much longer than that.

@hopeless Its been a while since I prepurchased from eshop, but in the past, many games went live in the US between 1pm-6pm Eastern, 10a-3pm Pacific. Some have gone live at midnight, but I only recall that happening once, for me.

About 3DS, unfortunately the Miiverse has been discontinued last year.
But, it still able to do Street Pass and Spot Pass, as long there are at least two 3DS with Street Pass activated.

Never realized if i have collected 7 Ratchet & Clank games and Secret Agent Clank PSP within 3 months.
Still needs Ratchet & Clank Collection/Trilogy PS3 and Ratchet & Clank Deadlock PS2
