@HobbitGamer - Enjoy dude, sounds wonderful. I’ve been eyeballing the inside of my kitchen closet for a paint job. Seems like some nice busy work. My wife isn’t thrilled about the prospect of me blowing up the kitchen this weekend, so I may have to find something else to do.
Supposed to snow today and the kids are already bored. Would've taken them to the park if it was nice, so i figured a board game day is in store. Managed to grab a copy of monopoly on switch for $10. So that'll be some fun.
@Tyranexx NOPE? As in no, or is this yet another new and/or popular abbreviation that I know nothing about? Hope you're doing a bit better today though, and completely agreed about the points you made, because I share the same sentiments.

Thanks! I am a bit better today. Got a lot of the cleaning out of the way and started Link's Awakening on the Switch earlier. I only played for about two hours and didn't get very far from Mabe Village. XD There's a lot more to do there in this remaster. So far it's a very charming game, but then again so is the original. The Trendy Game is more of a pain unfortunately, and for completion I'll have to keep revisiting it for awhile....

@NintendoByNature - It’s snowing here a bit right now. It probably won’t stick though. I got on and did some Labo with the kids earlier. We finished off the fishing pole and caught a sunfish. I saw someone else was on, must have been you and the kiddos doing a round of Monopoly. Does the digital version do something to speed the game up, because a typical Monopoly game can take forever. I have the Mario Gamer version of Monopoly still in the wrap from a few years ago. I may have to break it out here in the next 30 days.

@ThanosReXXX It's not quite the right time for another long game with my schedule and all. Plus, I replayed A Link to the Past fairly recently, so it feels fitting to play its indirect (according to the manual and timeline) sequel.
@bimmy-lee Thanks! The ceremony itself is over; happy hour at the reception will be at 5:30 with the meal following at 6. I'll definitely be sampling a few spirits. Not enough to where I can't drive home though.

@bimmy-lee dude I was thinking 10 minutes ago that that's something were going to do this weekend too (labo and specifically fishing rod). I only put together the piano and rc car since I got it for father's day a couple years ago. So rod it is tonight, more than likely.
And yea monopoly on switch is actually pretty quick considering it's all electronically done( no banker slowing things down). There's a classic board and a few special ones. There's unlockable pieces and boards too but i haven't figured out if it's unlocked by achievements or micro transactions. Either way seems well worth 10. There's a few modes too and special rules you can make.

@ThanosReXXX I wanna take a short break from time sinks, considering that I just finished DQ VIII a little over a week ago. Plus, I feel like there's some benefit to waiting to play BotW closer to when its sequel (finally) releases, but I think I'll cave in a few months.
I finished the grapevine project. I have not finished the garden time and energy got away from me. The big dog slipped past me when I opened the gate, and ran about 4 blocks before a neighbor nabbed her. I didn’t have her leash, and she’s not quite tall enough to lead by her collar. So I had to carry the 70 lb Rhodesian Shepard all the way home, after flinging cinder blocks and concrete bags prior. I’m done.

@Tyranexx - Don’t worry about a BOTW time sink. You’ll zip right through it. I think I finished around 362 hours in 365 days. NBD. I like your strategy though. I’d probably do the same, play it right before the sequel in a purposeful manner, then go all out on BOTW2.
@ThanosReXXX - Well, I thought any of us might get at least the same kind of courtesy you extended a bunch of young roughneck strangers in your military days on your first visit to the ole watering hole (pub) on base. You’ll have to act fast with me if you wanna buy the first round. That’s one of my go to maneuvers.
@NintendoByNature - The fishing game is pretty cool so far, my kids love it. My wife tried it, and she was trying to catch a big fish with a little fish she had hooked. It tells you what you caught and tracks your biggest catch in every species. Definitely the coolest mini game so far, we started with the RC car and worked our way up. As a fisherman, you’ll have fun with it. There is a challenge to it. Nobody here has landed anything bigger than a sunfish.
@HobbitGamer - That’s quite a day. My (probably) Rhodesian mix ran away for yeeears. It’s super annoying. He just finally crossed an invisible line one day and stopped doing it. If he gets outside the fence now, he just walks around to the front gate and waits for someone to let him back in. Post hole diggers are truly awful. If someone used them every day of their life, they would die young and in pain.

I think i can use common thick rubber ring as replacement or if i have some spare from my other LABO kit.
Rubber ring will not last long when you use it outside for long time.
They will eventually melted away.
