@bimmy-lee Hey, look on the bright side: at least we'll not see you posting comments mentioning you needed to catch up on reacting to comments for a while. And considering that previously lower frequency, I don't think that anyone on here is REALLY going to expect you to be going crazy with posting. You'd just finally be reaching our daily average...

And besides: that's what the Chit-Chat thread is for, to get away from real life, and share your thoughts and daily goings on, so you can get rid of whatever ails you. So post away, my friend.

@bimmy-lee ROUGH!! Time to find activities, cuz if they're anything like us, they'll just burn through the homework in one or two days to take advantage of all that time. Our CEO just sent out a letter about the school closures across our 8 county catchment area and such, they're almost all shut for at least 2 weeks. The University System of the Georgia is shut down statewide, too.

"I am directing that we restrict all travel to meetings unless emergency and approved by me and/or Senior Management. I am directing that we limit all out of program field trips and activities and we have cancelled some planned big group events like going to the circus, to sporting events, etc. AA/NA Groups will be cancelled this week and we will go on a day by day basis as we learn more about COVID-19 . I am directing that we restrict visitors unless absolutely critical for them to be in our facilities. Make every effort to have deliveries dropped at the door and not have the delivery men come inside. Order as much on line as you can to stay out of the stores. "

@HobbitGamer Funny that they'd mention that delivery protocol as well. As a matter of fact, it was on the news here today, that several food deliverers, such as pizza couriers and so on, have now also adapted this. They showed how they'd ring the doorbell, then step away to allow the customer to take the pizza out of the box themselves, and then put the money in a bag/pocket on the steering wheel of the bike or moped.

@bimmy-lee my neighboring town has closed its schools for a few weeks. Just waiting on our confirmation. I May work from home mostly unless a customer is requiring an emergency visit from me. Either way, enjoy some time with the kids, I'm sure I will.

@NintendoByNature - That’s kind of how it went for us too, neighboring town (and stares) shutting down first, then we followed suit. It’s a hit to the pocket book, but we’ll do our best to have fun. Hope you do the same and you all stay healthy.

@ThanosReXXX - I looked it up for total accuracy: The t zone is your forehead down to your chin, and it includes your eyes, nose, and mouth. Don’t touch it. Now that you know, you’ll be overwhelmed with the need to touch your t zone.

@bimmy-lee for sure. Our Schools just got canceled for 3 weeks now. So yea work from home most days. Board games, Mario kart 8, eat some pork n beans + corned beef hash. Hoping it all blows over in a couple weeks.

@ThanosReXXX I mean, I've been making a lot of jokes about drinking Corona. As in the beer. It is better to laugh than to cry or huddle in fear. If that's what people need to do - I'd rather they make the jokes.

@HobbitGamer It's less about the money and more about the general damage the weapons they produce do. I am thoroughly against war profiteering. But there is no doubt that companies like Boeing benefit greatly from conflict.

@bimmy-lee You DO know that I was only half serious, right? Although I honestly didn't know what a T zone was, but I was jokingly referring to toilet paper, because I've seen plenty of people abbreviating that to TP, which to me sounds like a native American's tent...

Okay, PLEASE don't tell me that those are actually serious questions.

@Heavyarms55 Yeah, that's true. Like I said in the Corona virus thread, it's probably also a coping mechanism, as shown by people often nervously laughing in what seems to be the most inappropriate of situations. I just normally stick to a kind of self-applied rule that you shouldn't make jokes too soon about serious issues like these, because it might hurt or insult people actually suffering from it, so it kind of feels like a not done thing, if you get what I'm saying. Once it has all blown over, then all bets are off, though...

@ThanosReXXX - Haha, well, I personally had to look up “the T zone” last week just to be sure I was right, so I didn’t think it was out of the question for you not to know it, or to know it by a different name. Yeah, the TP joke went zooming by overhead, I’m not in proper comedic form.
