A southern or Denver skillet sounds too good right now, with a side of flap jacks of course

@HobbitGamer Ohhh bacon is one of the foods I've never been able to find here in Japan. What they call bacon in this country is basically just chunks of sandwich meat ham. Good, but nothing like the crispy, fried absolutely terrible for your health deliciousness I used to eat back in the US.

I've been able to find or make almost everything else, but no bacon. You can get turkey here, but it's all imported and not remotely worth the price.

Bacon and eggs, with a nice tall glass of orange juice and some hash-browns... I just ate lunch and my mouth is still watering at the thought!

@Heavyarms55 That is a travesty. What about a ham steak at least?

@NintendoByNature nope, it closed at 10 pm. Welcome to the country. There’s only one Wally World, and that’s all ya git!!
We do have a Cracker Barrel, which also has a delectable breakfast.

@HobbitGamer coincendentally I had cracker barrel for the first time in like 4 years yesterday. I had lunch but all their food is really good, especially breakfast. And it's inexpensive. Now I might grab some bfast tomorrow at CB

Let me share my little disappointment.

I just got a nice gaming package.
1. SNES PAL system.
2. SNES Game - Might and Magic 2.
3. NES Game - Castlevania 2 Simon's Quest.

The disappointment is that the seller told me that the games were in English language and now I am seeing the Might and Magic 2 cartridge to have the region code NOE (German) and I am pretty sure that the game is locked in German language. That is a big turn off for me and DAMN I hate it when it happens!

On the other hand I LOVE Simon's Quest. This game made me LOVE the open-world genre and it was my first Castlevania game! And finally I have it in my hands! My own personal copy!

Now I just hope that the SNES console and the Castlevania games both work without any issue but I have to wait until I go home tonight

HobbitGamer

@Zuljaras What a terrible night to have a region locked cartridge.

@HobbitGamer Well not region locked but language locked. Either way I think that the Castlevania in in English but the Might and Magic 2 is in German. I will try and sell it or just leave it in the bottom of the collection to be forgotten by time.

As far as CV2 goes there are actually 3 versions of the language. Japanese, English(USA + PAL) and Finnish for some weird reason. Bu I think that the Finnish version is extremely hard to find.

Also I just found that the PAL NES console are 2 different types. Pal A and Pal B. Now I have to open my NES and cut off one leg of the region lock chip to make the console region free. This is so stupid.

@Zuljaras Geez, that's like a never ending quest you've got going on there! NTSC must also stand for Not Too Super Confusing

@HobbitGamer Yes it is amazingly idiotic. At least it is good that with just a small mod the NES will be region free

I like how the USA versions are not confusing. They are all in English and all ok for their own region.

I love how the GB, GBA, DS and the Switch are region free.

Anyone ever get chicken ‘n waffles with chicken strips and make a chicken, waffle, and butter sandwich and dip it in syrup like it’s au jus? It’s delicious. How about a waffle and ice cream sandwich for breakfast? That’s a HOF breakfast in my book.

@HobbitGamer @NintendoByNature - Totally agree on the hilarity. One time I final smashed myself right off the screen to my death. I’m still laughing about that session, even the slow down. It felt like we were playing on an arcade cabinet in 1986. We should make it a weekly priority. It felt good to Smash again, I ignored it for a long time.

@bimmy-lee chicken n waffles Is too good. And yea that was great. It's almost better that we went in with no practice prior. Makes for a good 1st round just jumping all over the stage like madmen.

I can do Wednesday nights at 830 or 9 cst for a good 30-40 minutes weekly.

Now I want to go to Cracker Barrel for lunch and get the Country Boy Breakfast.

@bimmy-lee I'd be down for that! Yeah, Mac when zooming right up the river HAHA. I did no better with Banjo in the clouds during the last match.

@antdickens Hmm, interesting. I remember that list, but I don't think I intentionally rated anything. I probably browsed it on my phone and accidentally tapped things while trying to scroll when the dang thing lags and stutters. Touch screens irritate me....

Thanos is special. It's just his thing. We won't tell him about NL's Midnight Channel. He doesn't need to worry about that.....
