@antdickens I certainly didn't rate them on the game page. If it was in an article, it certainly wasn't in the past 8 months or so....I don't remember having ever done it at all but if I did it would have been over a year ago probably if it were a poll or something. But my games list wasn't' populated until now.

Are you sure you're not just hiding in my closet? While you're in the GB case if you can change the batteries in the magnifying backlight attachment, that would be great! They might be a bit corroded since 1995....

Dang, I don’t have any phantom game ratings. Not even all those 10s I gave Treefall and RCMADIAX last gen. That’s a bummer.

@Tyranexx - I don’t mow because I don’t have any grass. Weirdly, I’m in a heavily wooded area inside a city. My ground cover is a mix of leaves, sticks, tree nuts, moss, tiny woodland plants and flowers, dog poop, and open dirt made of all the above. I have a weed eater for the ditch in the front, which has some grass, but that’s about it. I probably spend the same time with my backpack blower that you spend mowing as well as just generally beating back the creep of the wild from my house and immediate yard (the portion that’s fenced). I do love mowing and all manner of yard work though. It’s relaxing and instantly gratifying for me.

@HobbitGamer - Not a bad method at all. It’s sure better than scooping. Pressure washing is fun too, you just have to be sure you don’t blast the poop water straight back on to your own face. All those lefties were probably throwing mud sliders and sinkers, while the righties were just dealing straight heat and off speed mud balls.

@ThanosReXXX - Three lefties (at least) in a small group like this is flabbergasting. I’ve only met a few in my life. I’ve never had any lefty specific tools, so I’ve just become accustomed to doing things upside down. It’s tough to cut and measure, and don’t even get me started grease boards and chalk boards. You have to write at a 45 degree angle unless you know exactly what you want to write and start from the bottom. I think people say lefties are creative solely because we have to improvise to make things work in a right dominated world.

@NEStalgia - Your two posts directed at me concerning Vietnam should be copy and pasted over whatever garbage is printed in HS US history textbooks. You have no idea how close you came to hitting the nail on the head. Before he retired, my father in law was Greg from Accounting.

@bimmy-lee Poop overspray would be terrible. Luckily I’ve got a deck wash port!

@NotTelevision you should be at 45 to beat the final boss. I Was stupidly at 37 when I first tried him and spent a few days being stubborn. Ultimately, I beat him at 43 but it Wasnt comfortable which is why i say 45. That's my advice at least, it's an incredibly hard boss fight that had me pulling my hair out. You'll get thru it though if you level up near that entrance to the fight.

@HobbitGamer - I think there’s at least three subjects I wanted to reply to you about over the last few days and forgot, but it’s too late now. Maybe someday I’ll post them in the craigslist missed connections forum.

@NintendoByNature - Maaaan, I didn’t get as far as I needed on what I was doing last night, and I need to do some more work tonight. Maybe I can catch up with you guys if you’re going. I don’t plan on working all night.

@HobbitGamer No animal poop to speak of. No pets lol. Though you've reminded me that I need some external piping checked out.

I like what I've read of Dilbert, but it hasn't been much lol. I had a boss who, at a previous job he had, had the strip cutouts banned by a supervisor in his department because they were deadly accurate lol.

@ThanosReXXX Thanks! I was able to print off what I needed to at work with permission. Now to see if the form will properly scan at home.... #FirstWorldProblems

I'm glad there are fellow southpaws here; you all understand my pain and the societal adaptations lol.

@bimmy-lee Sounds like a section of the property I grew up on. At least where the backyard is concerned. I don't mind some forms of yard work, it's just that I dislike mowing for previously mentioned reasons. And don't get me started on the few times I've had to take care of some Virginia Creeper. The stuff isn't as potent as poison ivy (which it's sometimes mistaken for) as the skin irritant is different, but I still have reactions to it.

But moving fallen sticks and pruning the occasional bush? I don't mind that as much.

@bimmy-lee The inconsistent issues people have had really does sound like there was a bad batch that was shipped out though. I still hold that if the problem were universal the number of people experiencing it would be much higher.

@Eel So, does that mean my account was hacked, then? I'm dead serious here, because not only do I not own a lot of these games, I sure as hell never rated any of them, so this is starting to both puzzle and annoy me more and more. How's your own profile? Have you checked it for games lists? Or did you already have one?

@NotTelevision Talk to my hacker, I didn't do any of that. You might want to check if this has happened to your account as well. I'd definitely be interested to find out if more people than just me and NES are now having this magically appeared games list...

@Woomy_NNYes I've literally got no idea what the hell happened, and I don't like not being able to figure out things, especially if they happen to me, so this REALLY p***** me off...
As I told the others, you might also want to check your own profile, to see if you too now have a games list all of a sudden.

@HobbitGamer I meant the old geezer with the "Oculus Drift" glasses. I was wondering if that was something from the family album or just a stock photo from the worldwide web. You may never know, these days...

By the way: do you now also have a list of games you supposedly own attached to your user profile?
It can't just be me and @NEStalgia, that would make it rather weird...

@NEStalgia Well, there you go, it's not just me. And the plot thickens...
Just out of curiosity: is the "Have" box on the left also checked on your games list? That's what's visible on mine, so if you more or less have the same weird occurrence, you'll probably also have that.

@antdickens So, do you have any idea what the heck happened here? I can state with an ironclad certainty that I've never personally added any games to my profile, much less only GameCube games, nor did I rate any in a list, unless we're counting the ones that I once did in an article, but that would still not explain why these games are now part of my profile as my supposed "Have" list. And even if I would have done that, there's games in that list that I do not own, nor have I ever owned them, much less liked them, so I would definitely not add a rating for those.

@bimmy-lee No, we're actually creative. Haven't you seen my comic?
But in all seriousness: in this world, we would have to be, because if we did not have any capacity to figure out how to get by in a right-handed oriented society, well... then we'd definitely be stuck between a rock and a hard place, so having the brains to not only make do, but to make progress as well, should tell you more than enough. And that we sometimes have to use scissors the wrong way up doesn't take away from any of that...

@Tyranexx Well, to be honest, I personally feel no pain or distress just because I'm left-handed. I can't write with my right hand, but other than that, I'm almost ambidextrous, so I can do lots of things and operate lots of tools and stuff with both hands, and I can use a mouse and keyboard left or right-handed.

By the way: as mentioned several times to the other people above you in this comment, you might also want to check your profile for a mysteriously appeared games list, if you never had any before.

Never mind, guys. I already checked all of your profiles, and all of you actually also have a games list, except for @bimmy-lee, which is then also kind of strange, because now he's the only one who does NOT have a games list...

@ThanosReXXX - It can only mean one thing: I’m the hacker. By the way, I think you were a bit harsh with your rating on Bratz: Forever Diamondz. It was easily an eight in my book.

Yeah, us lefties are from the school of hard knocks. Whatever we have, we’ve earned it.

@Tyranexx - Well, snow is now a possibility this weekend in the extended forecast. I blame us, with all this spring and yard work talk, we jinxed ourselves. Dang it!

@NintendoByNature @HobbitGamer - I got an early jump on things, and I’ll probably be wrapped up or darn close in about an hour. That’s 9:30ish for me and Hobbit, and 8:30 for NBN I believe.

@ThanosReXXX I feel no pain or distress (not like our forebears....Some of those histories are interesting, though some of that has to do with how hygiene worked way back when), just minor annoyance at times. You mentioned using scissors backwards; I have issues with less sharp scissors not working for me at all. Then there are how some doorknobs are oriented, handshake adaptation (this is second nature now, just needed practice), ink smudging, accidental elbowing....I have a disclaimer when I have to sit next to a rightie: "You may or may not get elbowed".

Yep, I use the Games List feature here. It's a good way to keep track of most of my Nintendo library. Any games without ratings on my profile are games I either haven't played yet, or else haven't played to the point where I feel like I can sufficiently rate them.

On the mysterious game ratings: unless there was a significant hack on the website, I'd say it's more likely that some database IDs might be a little switched around. That's one cause of odd issues like that.

Edit: Holy cow, it's like your account has rated the whole GCN library....

@bimmy-lee Yep, there's a chance of rain/snow here on Saturday. I doubt it'll amount to anything other than some dreary weather and MAYBE a trace of snow in shaded areas that aren't concrete. Then it'll melt/be rained away.

Are weighted blankets actually good for anxiety?
They don't sell those in my country (...yet?), but I heard of it online and got curious haha.

This blue eye perceives all things conjoined. The past, the future, and the present. Everything flows and all is connected. This eye is not merely seen reality. It is touching the truth. Open the eye of truth... There is nothing to fear.

@ThanosReXXX I've seen enough database screw ups, that I think your profile likely ended up pointing to all those games by accident. I've seen stuff like that happen at work. Can't hurt to change your password. But hacking just to add games to your games page, and add or score that many games, doesn't make any sense for hacking. Probably was a database error, or human error managing the Nintendolife site and it's accounts database.

@Vinny I don't know about helping with anxiety, but I personally like heavy blankets. I will actually turn off the heat in winter before I take off a blanket if I'm trying to sleep. Something about the weight makes me feel more relaxed and safer at night.
