@bimmy-lee
One thing about Kamehameha.
It is actually a Hawaiian King name.
There is also Kamehameha Day in Hawaii. (Not a day we can unleash Kamehameha beam 🤣)

@bimmy-lee @Tyranexx I'm thinking about how disappointing it is when you take that first shovel swipe and discover just how heavy those wet-heavy-snows are

When it's light fluffy snow, I'm always psyched to use my 48 inch wide Snowpusher Lite shovel. It's fun to clear the driveway so quickly & with so few swipes. (you can't really use them with heavier wet snow)

I've always wondered if I should have gotten the Snowcaster, the rival shovel shovel with wheels. Neither is cheap. But my Snowpusher Lite does the job (with light fluffy snow).

@Woomy_NNYes Well, I'm no BMX expert, so I'll take your word for all that. I was simply doing my version of "The Science Guy", and most of what I said, no scratch that: all of it, still applies. Speed will move mass in any direction, and the less mass, the more the speed will affect its trajectory and/or height. It really is that simple.

@bimmy-lee Thanks, man.
And obviously, I won't hold it against you, what with all your own goings on and/or your back log here in the comments section, but I've actually mentioned me making a career change before, a while back, and in order to be able to do that, I need a certain certificate, and that is what this is all about.

As for the dream accidents: they're largely the same as yours, but I usually jump up or scare myself wide awake immediately after it happens, so I only witness/experience whatever is happening and I don't hang around in the dream for the aftermath. So, for example, I've once dreamed about stepping on a metal plate that was electrified, and the shock of that in my dream woke me up instantly. So that, and tons of variations on that theme. Nothing really visceral or horror like, just accidents. No idea why.

And as for the stairs: in a normal environment, so in a building, or some kind of structure, with people around. I'm not running around on stairs leading nowhere. That's also the frustrating thing about it. Imagine dreaming running up the stairs towards a train platform, because you're about to miss the train, and just about as you're reaching the platform, you're instantly transported back down, to do it all again, and the only thing you can do is watch the train take off.

Or sometimes, as mentioned before, I just seem to stay in one place, running in the middle of the stairs, making no progress whatsoever...

@Tyranexx Well, some nerves are bound to creep in, but I always try to channel them into a healthy dose of tension, so to speak. Tension can be good, because it makes you aware and some kind of acuteness may also enter, but you can't let it take over, because that's when tension turns into nerves, and nerves are kind of a sliding slope.

I'll never say things like "I'm gonna nail this" or "I'll definitely succeed", but I know that aside from the whole rib accident thing and some other goings on that interrupted my studies, I've done most of what I could do, to see to it that I got all the information, or at least most of it, in my head. So, I've done my best under the circumstances, which is all one can do, and that should be enough to at least pass the bar, even if only by the skin of my neck (or is that teeth?). A pass is a pass, I don't need to score an A+ or anything.

My arms felt tired after playing Gitadora Nex+Age Arcade at Transmart Ngagel Surabaya.

Oh, pardon of my terrible score.
I still practice playing drum in 9 buttons instead of 6 buttons ala Classic Drummania. 😅

Btw, my dinner at restaurant inside Transmart Ngagel. 😋

@Zuljaras I think he's entering a hot dog eating contest, but doesn't want to admit to it.

@ThanosReXXX Actually, I you are right. That's literally what physics tells us. A skinny, lightweight guy doesn't require as much strength(force) to move as a bulkier heavier person. It's not a magical advantage, but with physics, we know we can quantify it. You're so smart ThanosRexxx (that's a playful, but real compliment)

@ThanosReXXX I mustve missed something. Sounds like you're interviewing or testing. If that's the case, good luck today (unless you already have results). If youre willing to tell us how it goes/went, feel free 😊

@ThanosReXXX A career change? You're not going to be a sales and marketing guy anymore?? Does this mean I'll have to actually respect you as an actual human being now???

Wait, you're not becoming a lawyer are you? Still might be an upgrade though. It would make you at least demihuman.

Or a butcher? What with your skill at portioning ribs and all you'll be a natural!

HobbitGamer

@NEStalgia His method for portioning the ribs is just unconventional enough that he can be a hipster chef.

@Anti-Matter - Yes sir. I don’t know why they chose his name for the blast other than it’s a cool name to say. I haven’t watched much Dragonball, just some in college. I watched the big tournament to fight Cell and the Majin Boo story.

@Woomy_NNYes - Nothing worse than shoveling wet, heavy snow/slush. You’re right though, it’s incredibly pleasing to clear off a nice, powdery snow. My dad gave me his old snow blower a few years ago when he upgraded, and it’s a lot of fun. I have a long drive, so it’s handy, and I usually do my neighbor’s drive while I’m out because it’s just fun.

@NintendoByNature - Thanos is getting the same treatment you received when you interviewed for and ultimately turned down that job out of state. We’re pretty darn nice to each other for a group of Internet weirdos. I hope nobody is studying this strange behavior.

@HobbitGamer - I’ve been meaning to give you an update on indoor tree project 2019. They’re all dead. I’m starting to think trees that start life outside really hate being dug up and brought inside, even if they’re babies. I have some red and blue maple seeds, and some jack pine seeds ready to go this spring.

Day 3. I've transferred the babies to an indoor environment for monitoring and observation.
Day 16. The specimens continue to respond poorly to synthetic light and stimulus. Will continue providing nourishment at regular intervals.
Day 24. Specimens showing discoloration, decreased activity and nutrient processing. Will attempt to stimulate with intensified UV radiation.
Day 37. Dead. They are all dead. Specimen survival rate 0.0%. The project is a failure. All traces must be removed and disposed of.
Day 38. Initiating Blue Maple protocol.

I'd watch that as a mini series.

@bimmy-lee Ah, the science of growing plants. If Google gives me garbage, this is one of those times I add "site:.edu" to the Google search to search college academic sites for a particular plant species - sometimes it helps the search. I've been down this road in the past couple years.
