@Eel I'm sure she knows that that means without google translate.
Oh, that's sitting in a tree, kissing. I could make out "en el arbol". I geet eet! ("I get it" with mexican accent 😉) No google needed 🙌 😊 If we keep talking I'll hurt some spanish words with my american accent. Granted, I do what I can to match the correct pronunciation. Cant trill R's well.
EDIT: I remember college friends coming back from spain, speaking their spanish with aboslutely no effort to try fluent pronounciation. I was like, why TF did you go to spain for spanish, and come back still speaking like that? It was painful for me to listen to
@Eel With english, you grow up wiring your tongue to only hit the roof of your mouth once. So, when my tongue hits D or T, it's rigid. It's hard to unwire it, and let it trill. It takes a lot of focus. And I only ever spoke spanish briefly, so I never got a good long steady run of practice. That might take days, weeks to start to get the feel, right.
EDIT: in english, you can say, "hello sunshine" in an endearing way to somone. Does that work/translate in spanish? Rayo de luz? ... Hola rayo de luz?
@Eel - Yeah, it’s like you’re trying so hard, and yet nothing you do lands with any impact. So frustrating. It probably does stem from the friction of our weird brains believing we’re in mid battle while our bodies lie completely motionless. Just like with the running dreams, I also have the inverse dream where I’m super powerful, and someone forces me to fight and I’m like, “You’ve left me no other choice, I must now teach you a lesson with Buddha’s Palm technique and some Hadoukens.”
@Eel I want to endearingly kid, and say something like, "such a messy girl".
Google says, "Una chica tan disordenada". But that doesn't seem to match my sillier tone I'm after. What do you think. And, thank you very much for the help.
@HobbitGamer My head is not a toilet, HobbitGamer
( Nice one HobbitGamer )
Yeah, @Eel , my dry sense of humor. Tone & delivery are how I sell it in english, so it doesn't sound mean. If you were my coworker, and you dropped a movie bucket of popcorn at work, for comedy, I'd say, "you are so messy" with a subtle, stupid grin, a laugh. And you'd know I wasn't being mean. Granted not everyone finds the same stuff funny. But that's what my friends and former coworkers would do.
@NintendoByNature Hope the weather in your neck of the woods this weekend has been as nice as here! Though some rain is supposed to roll in late this evening.
@ThanosReXXX The closest thing to the stair climbing dream I've had are a couple of mundane dreams where I was climbing stairs and had deja vu when awake later on (usually a couple of weeks later or something) doing the exact same thing. This typically happens in places I've been often. I'll be climbing the stairs and then "Wait...Didn't I do this before?" pops into my head. That hasn't happened in awhile.
The main reason why I'm kind of avoiding Animal Crossing is because I know it CAN be addictive. I've dealt with other sims where you had to visit them every so often in order to maintain things. Usually it's only a few minutes here or there, but then you start spending longer and longer amounts of time in them. And heaven forbid that you leave such sims for a few days, then come back to a PO'ed puppy or dead crops....
Then of course, there's that whole Switch backlog thing that I went a little nuts with....
@bimmy-lee My brain is currently pasting a version of your avatar's head with Street Fighter II graphics onto the bodies of either Ryu or Ken. It's pretty entertaining.
I don't think I've ever had dreams quite like that; usually in ones where I have superhuman abilities, there's either nobody else around to witness them, or else they don't work or work inadequately when the time comes up. There are a couple where I've been an all-around bad@$$, but those are unfortunately rare.

@Tyranexx Thanks! You too. It's been really nice today. We did some errands/shopping and for the last couple hours we took a walk and went to the park. Finished it off with some basketball in the driveway just now. These types of days put me in such a good mood.
@NintendoByNature No complaints about early spring weather! I got outside for a little while today, ran some errands and played a bit of Pokemon Go while out walking. Agreed, days with fresh air and plenty of sunshine are welcome and are definite mood enhancers.

@Eel@ThanosRexxx and everyone.... Maybe you guys have heard me talk about bikes. I've got a bit of skill, but nothing crazy. That's why one of the only times I got in a bike video was here.. walking up the steps in the background in the first 5 seconds of the video . For several years, after work I used to ride this private bowl regularly with friends from like 8 or 9pm to midnight. Again, there is no bike footage of me, just walking No need to watch the whole video, if dont care to. A few of these guys have X-Games gold medals. The skinny kid in the green tshirt & backwards baseball hat, Chase Hawk, was this real stringy, like 19 year old kid back then in this video, but he blasted some of the biggest airs, which takes some real freaking strength. I still don't know how that skinny a** kid does it
@bimmy-lee Luckily, for dream-ThanosReXXX, he's always been able to fly away when the going gets tough...
However, that makes it even more puzzling why my anxiety rises when I can't get away from someone in my dream, knowing that I'll escape anyway.
However, I actually AM prone to (deadly) accidents in my dreams, though. And subsequently scaring myself awake...
@Eel That is indeed an actual thing: it's called sleep paralysis, and it's kind of a natural defense mechanism going back to the early days of men, so it's ingrained in our DNA. What it basically does, is preventing you from hurting or harming yourself, so even though we may toss and turn a bit, most of us will never be wildly flailing our limbs while sleeping. That's also because of the body needing to regenerate/recuperate, so most bodily functions are put into snooze mode, or at least on a very low setting. Your parents will possibly/probably know all about this sleep paralysis thing...
@Anti-Matter Nah, nothing hilarious about it, unless you're somewhere between 6 to 9 years old, which kind of tells us where your mind is at...
Oh, and that cat you want? Creepy as all hell.
@Woomy_NNYes What @Eel said loosely translates to "they kiss, they hug, they get married/hitched"
Good luck with the girl. Best advice is to always be yourself. If things happened as they should have, that's who she got interested in, so no need to do anything extra or different, normally speaking.
And I tend to agree on the type of girl/woman. Over here, they have a saying: "you can't eat from a fancy plate", which is basically another way of saying substance over beauty. Them looking really nice or attractive is a definite bonus, but you'd also better make sure that they're actually a nice and enjoyable person to be with, otherwise those good looks will grow stale before you know it...
@Tyranexx Yeah, I know what you mean, and besides my own ever-growing back log, I've currently got other matters to take care of, some far more important than gaming, such as trying to succeed in getting a certain certificate, which may potentially change my entire life, and the exams for which will take place tomorrow at 2pm. Roughly another 2 hours later, and I'll know if I'll be able to replace my current license title from "sales & marketing professional" to something considerably more weighty, so here's hoping that's gonna go the way I'd like it to go, because I really don't want to consider the alternative...
