@Zuljaras No fair play? How can they get away with that? Like, everything with a battery has a camera these days. Are the referees corrupt?

@Heavyarms55 They fall on the ground if just the wind blows and roar like their legs are cut off. They show it on the big screen in slow motion and they don't even care.

Come to think of it, it is actually pretty funny to watch if you don't count that those people are payed millions to act like that.

I always see the way soccer is played these days as very camp and theatrical to the point of humor. It sometimes seems less like a competitive sport and more like a game of pro wrestling. The players even sometimes look like Myotonic goats that fall over at the slightest loud noise to get a penalty

@Heavyarms55 Ah, I see. That sounds like fun. And you're welcome. But in that case, you might need some more names, in case you've got some kids in there who actually ARE soccer fans, so here you go:

Results of these lists may vary, because where some look at successes, others look at player stats:

And just in case you want to add worldwide players next time:

@Tyranexx Gollumexx? Seriously? Who'd want to be a hunchbacked miscreant like that?
Unless of course, you're really good at doing the voice, in which case it would be kind of a no-brainer...

@Ninfan What the hell are you talking about? There's dozens of brilliant soccer players in Europe. That many of them are being bought away by large international clubs should tell you more than enough. And the same goes for trainers: European trainers are hired worldwide, because they're often better at getting teams in order than their non-European counterparts.

Sure, there's theatrics involved, sometimes to my utter annoyance, but nowadays we've got the video ref to take care of most of that. At least over here. Can't speak for other countries, but unfair play doesn't get a pass anymore over here. As for the theatrics themselves: I see those FAR more often in Latin-American countries and in southern-European countries, which is probably because of all these nations being inherently more passionate and emotional than their more stoic/sober Western counterparts.

Just look at the Copa de America: that's sometimes almost like looking at a soap opera instead of like a sports match...

Speaking about sport, i have my own sport that built from my childhood. 😏
I think all of you including @bimmy-lee already knew my own sport.
Well...
This sport is basically Kickboxing for Anthro Birds. Only birds who can fly can participate in this sport.
I created my fictional world where human and Anthro animals live together like in Animal Crossing. There is a popular sport on my world. It is Kickboxing for Anthro Birds. At least 12 years old Anthro birds (they have lifespan as old as human) can participate in this sport with agreement from both their parents and school principal. This sport also supported by government by given an insurance for every Avian Kickboxers. The salary from Avian Kickboxer is really high considering the stadium for fighting arena used very high technology, somewhat like Blitzball high tech and it cot a lot of money for maintenance.

Avian Kickboxing also took a part in Extra curricular for Junior High School with coaches from Avian Kickboxer Legends. The hype for Avian Kickboxing sport in my world is much like the hype of Muay Thai on Thailand. And thus i created my fictional Avian Kickboxers such as Caleb (Dove), Russell (Crow), Arnold (Eagle, Avian Kickboxer Legend, Caleb & Russell coach) , Tsurugi (Red Crown Crane, Avian Kickboxer Legend, coach) & other Anthro birds that still in progress. 😅

@bimmy-lee I will try to finish my Avian Kickboxer Albatros as possible. He will have a big body and very long wing. 😏

@Ninfan which ones in Korea and Japan are good. I would truly want to know.

We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.

@Anti-Matter it’s a good idea to get out once in a while for some fresh air.

Yup, time for some much needed violence.

Tyranexx

@ThanosReXXX Not really Gollum the character per se, but I like some of his mannerisms and speech pattern. I've created "possessive" characters loosely modeled after the creature. I just have to be careful not to say "precious". XD

Currently playing: Pokemon Scarlet DLC, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury (Switch)

@Zuljaras Yeah, I was already wondering about that as well, and I didn't even read it. Just saw the notification of a new post, clicked on it, only to find nothing there.

@Tyranexx That would be "precioussss.... "
Well, I'm not much of a horror fan myself, other than certain characters and movies, but I can imagine that being part of a house of horrors crew can be quite the enjoyable experience, especially if you manage to scare the living daylights out of the so-called tough guys and gals...

@Zuljaras Aha, I see. Well, in the case of a direct reply, it'll still be in my e-mail inbox, so I'll check that instead, then.

And yes, I agree, with the stipulation that it does have to be over the top. Violence for the sake of violence or with a serious undertone isn't okay in my book. But as long as it's both gruesome and hilarious at the same time, bring it on!

EDIT:
Well, I just read your removed comment, and why it's gone, is truly beyond me, because there's nothing in there that warrants a removal, a warning or any other measure, so I guess it'll remain a mystery for now.

@Zuljaras Well, there's different types. Sniper and especially Mortal Kombat take it to ridiculously over-exaggerated levels, in which case I don't mind, but in games like Manhunt, you're performing all kinds of homicidal acts, under the guise of some kind of TV show or something, and that kind of violence in games is something that I don't like or get. In war or crime-related games, you'd expect some violence, because of the source material, but it's almost never gruesome, so that I can also get behind. Heck, I've definitely played my fair share of war and mafia games, so I really can't condemn anyone who likes those, because I do as well.

P.S.

Added an edit to the previous comment.

Here in Indonesia is rainy season with heavy rain sometimes.

It can get very rainy during summer too (at least in the southeast region).
São Paulo (i live in a city not far from it) got absolutely flooded for two days last week!

@Tyranexx - Well, the Other Building sounds really cool then, and not creepy at all. I would have loved something like that as a kid, especially if it also included my own bee colony. Every kid needs a hangout spot where they feel like they’re in charge. Oh, and good ole kitchen sets. My kids are obsessed. We had a little toddler kitchen, and now we have a bigger kid kitchen and a bunch of toy food. It’s what they end up playing probably 75% of the time they have free play. My son also uses the food to play farm and feed all of his livestock, and my daughter uses it to feed her stuffed horses. We’re you crazy about horses as a kid, or maybe you had one? My daughter would give anything to have one. She got that from my wife.

@NotTelevision - I was a much bigger Nirvana fan when I was a teen, they resonated a little more with me then, but In Utero would be on my list of 25 albums I would want if shipwrecked and stuck on a deserted island, but somehow had a way to play music.

@Anti-Matter - Had a couple crazy days here, and I still haven’t caught up on your short story, but I will affirm that I wish your Avian kickboxing league was a fighting game on Switch. There’s something I’ve been thinking about though, wouldn’t the birds with spurs have an enormous, deadly edge in a kickboxing match? If I was seeding an Avian Kickboxing tournament, I’d have peacock and rooster as one and two seeds respectively, and I’d expect them to meet in the finals after slicing up their competition.

@bimmy-lee
I made another rule also.
They have to use protection on their feet (like kickboxer) and they are not allowed to use the spurs during fight. Especially Eagle, Falcon, Crane, etc have sharp spurs. They have to trim their claw before become Avian Kickboxer.

Btw, since Peacock and Rooster can't fly so they will join in Normal Kickboxing with either human or other Anthro animals as their opponent. And since they cannot fly, i will not draw Angel Wing style on their back. They will have normal hands like human, just like on Animal Crossing.

Hm... Peacock you said.
I have observed the design of Pave from ACNL and i think i will try to make Kickboxer Peacock and Rooster (Rooster is quite easy for me, but Peacock.... its fan tails kinda complicated for my design 😅 )

Btw, i give you a hint about my Avian Kickboxer.
I have planned to consider another flying animals as additional Flying Animal Kickboxers. I think you can figure it out the flying animals i have considered about
Anyway, it still my plans. Hopefully i have enough time to design them.

@ThanosReXXX Huh I never played that one but I though that you would bring games like GTA, Mafia, CoD, Quake etc.

In GTA you play as a gangster and you are not a good person but that is the core of the game so I don't see a problem with that.
