@bimmy-lee I’m with you on that. I can’t stand Train. Not because of their music quality, but because of sheer overexposure to it. @ThanosReXXX on point today

@bimmy-lee Why did you think I posted it? I had the same problem: actually once really liked the song, good lyrics too, but hipster women spoiled it for me. So, now I want to bother other people with it as well. It's ThanosReXXX's version of polka muzak...
@Link-Hero Yeah, Newgrounds was fun, back in the day. Don't know where I got badger badger from, though. Far as I can remember, simply through being sidetracked on YouTube. Lots of great and funny flash animations on there, back in the day. Oh, and Happy Tree Friends. Ah, the mammaries... erm, memories... (damn pixie game)
@HobbitGamer Had some rice with chicken in sweet & sour sauce with stir-fried vegetables, and sprinkled copious amounts of pineapple chunks onto it. The latter must have been the ticket. Pineapple always makes me feel better and sharper...
WOAAAHH.....That's it, we're playing Train all day, every day!!! ALL ABOARD!!
Seriously, though, I never heard of the over-playing of Train phenomenon. I'll count myself lucky. Though the early '00s seem like they must have been at least 800 years ago by now.
@ThanosReXXX C'mon, you know you wanna search it.... Besides this context, it's also a less common reference to the tank in MMOs like WoW.
This does make me wonder how the search history for one of our head actors would look....That guy picks up some pretty weird stuff for the pockets of his character's costume.
Currently playing: Layton's Mystery Journey: Katrielle and the Millionaires' Conspiracy (Switch)
@Tyranexx Meat shields, head actor... man, my brain is going in all kinds of directions. I think I now understand how @NEStalgia felt when he entered the Chit-Chat thread earlier and was bombarded by all kinds of weird stuff, starting with an albino boa constrictor...
'The console wars are like boobs: Sony and Microsoft fight over which ones look the nicest and Nintendo's are the most fun to play with.'
I did see the discussion on the albino snake. I got to help hold an albino boa constrictor when i was a kid as part of a show. That thing was HUGE; it took three or four other kids, along with the handler, to help hold the thing. She was completely docile the whole time. "Babysitting duty again? Sheesh. Well, whatever man."
@ThanosReXXX The two main actor trainers are also our two main line actors. They're in cahoots a lot since they work at the same full-time job in the same general area, but both are in charge of different things. The scary thing is that they're also in charge of other people....
You definitely learn a lot of jargon with my side "job". It's more of a volunteer thing, but we do get a monetary bonus if we help out with a lot of the extras. Even without that, I'd do it anyway since we're provided with food and, if needed, the makeup and costumes.
And, of course, because it's a nice break from the norm to scare the living crap (almost literally) out of other people....
Edit: Oh yay, Best Buy sent an email a little bit ago; my new Link's Awakening amiibo is on the way!
@Tyranexx I was kidding of course, I know full well what you meant by head actor, but once a man's head goes in a certain direction... well, I'm sure you get the picture...
'The console wars are like boobs: Sony and Microsoft fight over which ones look the nicest and Nintendo's are the most fun to play with.'
@Tyranexx Whààààtttt? No, ma'am, always respectful, always...
It was all because of that weird pixie game review. Me and @NEStalgia kinda got caught up in a forum topic someone made about it. @HobbitGamer also visited. It was an odd discussion, as these two fine gentlemen will be able to confirm...
Either way, between that and the Chit Chat thread going in all directions at once, the mind of a man sometimes gets a bit overloaded...

I’ve been playing some coop in DxM and gotten some new fancy gear. My fav is a shoulder mounted laser cannon that swings forward on firing, like my own little SDF-1

@HobbitGamer, the only thing I've one so far is a figure of the character Nami from the One Piece anime (I'm not even much of a One Piece fan, but when you're playing on free plays you really just got to have pacience and look for a winnable machine no matter what it is).
I won it on an app called Toreba (it's actually the second thing I've won from them, but no one was home to sign for the first thing I won, a Rei figure from Evangelion, and the post office sent it back before I could make plans to go down to the post office & pick it up).
Since then I've begun to play around with other similar apps (from what I gather, anything based in Japan itself is usually legit, though similar apps run out of China or other southeast Asian countries are usually a bit more sketchy to various degrees).
And for proof:
My phone camera is pretty low end, so it's a bit fuzzy.
And yes, I did post this in the anime thread awhile ago.
