@KarateLuigi yea that's a good idea. Thanks for the tip. I kinda do the same thing but i tell myself, i dont NEED this job. Which makes me a bit more relaxed. @HobbitGamer thanks duuuuude. @Tyranexx noted...no spicy wings, creamy cheddar soup, or shots of jagermeister( makes me sick lol). That's my downfall too is honesty, but that's also how I built my career as an outside salesman. As for the salary thing, They already gave me what they intend to pay me which is a bump in pay from my current employment. But I've been working on this big job( biggest order in company history) and I'm owed ALOT which I would have to walk away from should I accept this offer. With that in mind, I'm going to ask for half of that sum added to my base, Or a sign on bonus with the full amount. Lol i was going to request midway, as it's a straight 40 min in from i55 for me; but they picked ohare which I hate, but they're paying for the flight and any expenses I incur. So oh well, ohare it is đ

Wear a blue formal shirt during interview.
Blue is one of the best colors to wear on a job interview because is exudes trust and confidence.
@ThanosReXXX Even though I'm new to Dragon Quest, I am very much NOT new to JRPGs like Dragon Quest. Although it's entirely possible that I missed something somewhere that was very obvious if I had just turned some corner that I thought was part of the background. One of the few gripes I have with the game is that it's not always entirely clear where you can and cannot go. There are a lot of invisible walls I ran into jumping around.
Also yes, I forgot the S. lol

Ok. My five hour nap was only interrupted by a few visits to the bathroom, and I started feeling better after the emergency âuse the other way outâ protocol happened. Donât you just love how thatâs the part you DONâT want to happen, but once it does everything else kinda feels better?
Iâm just thankful my body knows exactly when to wake up... Mmhm nothing quite like a bit of food poisoning to remind you youâre mortal.
@NintendoByNature - Heck yeah, now I hope you accept the position. If thatâs your region, the old Fort shouldnât be too far down your priority list, and itâs a good layover spot geographically. Hope we can make it happen. Just a heads up, I have a face tat that says, âPsychoâ, but itâs just a joke.
@StableInvadeel - Oof, Iâm no stranger to bouts of food poisoning, I have a few horrible stories Iâve collected over the years. All of them due to various pork products. Itâs so true though, everything is good after you bend down and face the toilet. Itâs a relief that almost makes the entire ordeal worth it just because itâs so incredible that itâs over and you didnât die.
@RedderRugfish - I meant to ask you what came off the Taco Bell menu recently? You posted about it, and I meant to follow up. I go full on neckbeard when I treat myself to TB, so Iâm hoping my Doritos Locos tacos are still available.
@NintendoByNature I have never had Jagermeister and probably don't want to try it. XD If it's as potent/nasty as straight whiskey....
The "too honest" issue typically bit me in the "weaknesses and concerns" categories. XD One of my early mistakes is that I mentioned the whole "Not fond of phones" thing. I will if I have to, but there are a ton of things I'd rather suffer through. đ
Glad that you already seem to know what you're being offered. I've rarely had this happen and dislike that they try to gauge/eliminate candidates based on what they want. You don't wanna low-ball too much but also don't want to scare them off. I typically use "I'm negotiable" for that question anymore.
Bummer that it's O'Hare, but I suppose one can't complain too much if it's already paid for. XD
@StableInvadeel That stuff is very rarely if ever fun. Hope you kick it quickly!

@RedderRugfish Indeed, the anniversary had me hooking up my Dreamcast just to do an offline quest in Phantasy Star Online... offline. Took longer than expected to complete, but completed it nonetheless.

@bimmy-lee it reminds me of the time I got appendicitis, by the end of that ordeal, while I waited for surgery, the pain was so strong my body entered into the puke reflex mode at timed intervals.
On one had, you have little 16 year old me hugging a trash bin, trying to throw up every other minute with nothing to throw up anymore, just the horrible nasty feeling and weird contortions that come with it, but on the other hand, you have that amazing feeling of relief that came after that, and for a few seconds, the gut pain is gone.
Itâs amazing how my mom actually diagnosed me just from looking at me when I came back from school. Like, she used her doctor third eye.
@StableInvadeel - I entered that cycle once for about 45 minutes when I was trying to pass a kidney stone. My body was freaking out so bad, it just decided, âmaybe this will get it out.â I think when things get really bad like that, our brains just assume itâs always going to be that way; and every moment you spend not doing the horrible thing is pure bliss. Appendicitis is scary, but at least you got a cool scar.
@RedderRugfish Cool, I imagine it's very fun with others. I've always played this offline, even during its heyday. The ISP my family had at the time did not support Dreamcast (AOL, I don't think it was supported), and by the time I got PSO, we had cable Internet, but didn't have the broadband adapter.
Never did get around to picking up PSO on GameCube, could have benefited from the split screen as my brother also played PSO, and we could have played together.

@StableInvadeel - It was pretty bad. Unique too. Itâs discomfort in an area thatâs uncomfortable. Iâve heard the same about appendicitis. My friend had his removed at 13. His attack started at school and he said it felt like he was suddenly stabbed with a hot knife.
@NintendoByNature - Itâs actually âPsikyoâ because Iâm also a shoot em up fan as well.
@RedderRugfish - Thanks for the link. It doesnât look like anything too disappointing. The Doritos Locos tacos are a relatively new addition to my TB repertoire. Otherwise, I like a trio of hard shell, and soft tacos and beef meximelts, which are all safe.
@bimmy-lee my apendicitis wasnât quite that immediate, I absolutely started feeling something was wrong at school, and came back home thinking it was a regular tummy ache. After that it gradually got worse through the day.
Sigh I remember the pulsating feeling, like itâs gonna explode at any moment. (And to be fair it totally could! Thatâs when it finally becomes a huge problem)
@StableInvadeel ugh feel better quickly. I got food poisoning last year from chicken wings. The morning after eating them I was in the back yard chatting with a neighbor, started feeling weak so I wandered inside. Passed out and hit my head on the floor, which immediately prompted me to come to just in time for my body to hit the emergency ejection valve. Iâve never seen the dog run away so quickly.
