So is the mushroom power ups in Mario created from dead toads? ๐Ÿ˜ˆ

@ScottNintendo Obviously not. It comes from magic mushrooms, which also work in real life, except only on the hallucinatory plane...

The staple diet of any Italian plumber. ๐Ÿคฃ

@ScottNintendo Well... staple...
More like sneaky on the side diet. Ever since people let loose of their controllers, to allow Mario to dream alone in Mario 64, we all know that his staple diet is broccoli, ravioli, pizza and spaghetti...

Ah, well, ravioli and spaghetti are both a member of the pasta family, so to most non-native Italian people, they're one and the same, more or less.

Hopefully nobody Italian turns up, otherwise I'm running.

Talking about Italian, F1 gp is in Monza this week.

That begs the question: is Mario REALLY powered up by those magic mushrooms, bopping through levels, beating up a giant turtle beast and his underlings, AND saving the princess at the end of the day? Or is it all just a hallucination? I'm rethinking all of the 2D platformers now...with the exception of Super Mario Bros. 2. At least that one has an explanation....

@ThanosReXXX It's the best pizza I've had to date, but something may top it one day. It's probably fortunate that I don't live close enough to justify a forty minute drive normally....

Darn it, now I'm hungry.

@ScottNintendo I said MOST non-native Italians. Not me, though: I eat a lot of pasta and Italian dishes, so rest assured that I know the difference, but much like the whole stereotype thing that we were all discussing a couple of back, that's simply how most outsiders will see it. Short-sighted yes, but that's people for you...

@Tyranexx Darn, woman, my comment was meant to NOT make you talk about that pizza anymore...
And what's with the whole Mario-ception that you and @bimmy-lee are talking about? Maybe some people here need to stay off the 'shrooms themselves...

@DenDen John Wick IS a great movie. There's some fun references/Easter Eggs in it as well. For example, the whole "I'm thinking I'm back" was also kind of a sarcastic nod to his critics, who pretty much labeled him as well as his career as a has-been. Would have backfired if the movie had bombed, though, but luckily it didn't, so now the joke is on the critics.

It implies Dora was always under medication as a kid.

Also ugh, I know it's hypocritical but I can't help but cringe at Eugenio Derbez.

I slapped my face with facepalm when Dora was singing a Poop Song while digging a hole for the place of poop. ๐Ÿ˜ฃ
