There’s places where piracy is so widespread it becomes the normal way to play games for some people. I know people who think it’s stupid to spend money on original games.
Actually, i found two pirated copies of Wii games that i haven't removed yet. I found them inside my sibling's cupboard. 😅
Just for knowledge purpose, no intentional purpose to promote piracy.
Take a look the difference between Pirated copies (On the top) & Original copies (On the bottom)
Did you see the pirated copies have better design but with wrong age rating for some games ?
And since when there was a "Kung Fu Panda" logo on the MySims disc surface & Chocobo's Dungeon was rated Teen ? 🤨
And when you take a look the backside, the disc surface for pirated copies (On the top) have been rotten. And that's why i regret to have pirated copies.
Btw, if you curious with some of pirated games box cover....
It's sad but true. My country Indonesia is the pirate things paradise. 😣
How horrible to see completely wrong age rating for some games. 🧐
And the worst part, there were a lot hacked / modded games with unofficial contents in Indonesia. To make it worse, the pirates didn't even care if they modified Rated M games with some Cartoonish contents to deceive customers and tried to target innocent kids to play their pirated games. 😤
Thanks goodness.... I have stopped playing from all those piracy things. No more pirated stuffs. 🤢
Yeah, it's very cringeful to see the reality of my country with a lot of pirated disc shops.
But don't worry. There is one game shop at Surabaya which only sells Original games and machine, no hacked / jailbreak whatsoever. The shop name is Game Inn (i always buy original games from this shop). The shop is inside the mall and very small but it has a lot of things i need. Sometimes, i depend on my friend for very rare / old games from Ebay or playasia if the items cannot be found at my country. I feel blessed to have a second chance to become an Original gamer and i'm really content to own Original games that bought with my money from my salary. 😀
Hey does anyone know who's been doing the mario 2d drawings? Like the old miiverse stamps for Mario Kart 8, Mario 3D World, the message stamps for phones, or the mario mobile wallpaper art from odyssey. It's very close to yoichi kotabe's style, but he's been retired for some time now. I'm trying to find more of it because I love the style. I wish there was a site that had all that legendary art.

I have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING going on today for a change. It's been great. I've done a few small things around the house that need done and some re-budgeting and retirement stuff that I've been putting off, but the rest of the day has been/will be devoted to games and manga.
I'm in the home stretch (I think) of DQ IV after ignoring it for some of this week to finish SteamWorld Heist. I also downloaded Kirby's Adventure on the Wii U VC and plan to give that a try as well. I've never played it before and figured it was another must-try after enjoying Kirby Superstar so much.
@ThanosReXXX In that case, I'd love to send you some pizza from a place about forty minutes away, but I'm not sure it would survive the journey across the Atlantic in a warm, edible state. The place is a bit pricey, but it's more than worth it in my opinion.
@Anti-Matter First of all: Nice collection and drawings! I need to make a more dedicated gamer space in my house. Most of my stuff right now is split between my bedroom (mostly handheld systems) and living room (TV/console systems).
I was about to say the disc art for the pirated copies was more attractive, but then I saw the undersides of those discs....Yuck.
Currently playing: Layton's Mystery Journey: Katrielle and the Millionaires' Conspiracy (Switch)
@Anti-Matter I genuinely looked up Peppa Pig The Game because I had no idea that even existed. Kind of fun looking it up as the publisher isn't Ubisoft. The only licensed Ubisoft games I could think of is Gravity Falls and some of the Smurfs ones I have, being a fan of the Smurfs.
Here I'm usually careful when buying GBA carts online (between the few I've bought, no pirated games at all). Must be hard to find genuine copies if there's a lot of piracy going on. I always go for genuine games, reading up GBA games years ago taught me the differences too.
@Tyranexx Sounds like a good day. Outside some chores that had to be done, I did play some Tokyo Mirage Sessions on Wii U. Was good though, I unlocked and completed a new side story, when all I wanted to do was level up my party.

@Sunsy I used to collect Smurf figures since when I had a trip to Belgium years back and visited a Smurf store, I stopped eventually ended up collecting hundreds.
@ScottNintendo Neat, I have six of them thanks to a surprise mom gave me. I read about that online too. Here in the US, Smurfs merch isn't common here. Most I have are a few plushies from when The Lost Village movie was new, a poster, and a few shirts. We do get the comic releases though, outside that usually nothing unless there's a new movie (at least from the looks of it).
