Hey does anyone know who's been doing the mario 2d drawings? Like the old miiverse stamps for Mario Kart 8, Mario 3D World, the message stamps for phones, or the mario mobile wallpaper art from odyssey. It's very close to yoichi kotabe's style, but he's been retired for some time now. I'm trying to find more of it because I love the style. I wish there was a site that had all that legendary art.

I have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING going on today for a change. It's been great. I've done a few small things around the house that need done and some re-budgeting and retirement stuff that I've been putting off, but the rest of the day has been/will be devoted to games and manga.
I'm in the home stretch (I think) of DQ IV after ignoring it for some of this week to finish SteamWorld Heist. I also downloaded Kirby's Adventure on the Wii U VC and plan to give that a try as well. I've never played it before and figured it was another must-try after enjoying Kirby Superstar so much.
@ThanosReXXX In that case, I'd love to send you some pizza from a place about forty minutes away, but I'm not sure it would survive the journey across the Atlantic in a warm, edible state. The place is a bit pricey, but it's more than worth it in my opinion.
@Anti-Matter First of all: Nice collection and drawings! I need to make a more dedicated gamer space in my house. Most of my stuff right now is split between my bedroom (mostly handheld systems) and living room (TV/console systems).
I was about to say the disc art for the pirated copies was more attractive, but then I saw the undersides of those discs....Yuck.

@Anti-Matter I genuinely looked up Peppa Pig The Game because I had no idea that even existed. Kind of fun looking it up as the publisher isn't Ubisoft. The only licensed Ubisoft games I could think of is Gravity Falls and some of the Smurfs ones I have, being a fan of the Smurfs.
Here I'm usually careful when buying GBA carts online (between the few I've bought, no pirated games at all). Must be hard to find genuine copies if there's a lot of piracy going on. I always go for genuine games, reading up GBA games years ago taught me the differences too.
@Tyranexx Sounds like a good day. Outside some chores that had to be done, I did play some Tokyo Mirage Sessions on Wii U. Was good though, I unlocked and completed a new side story, when all I wanted to do was level up my party.

@Sunsy I used to collect Smurf figures since when I had a trip to Belgium years back and visited a Smurf store, I stopped eventually ended up collecting hundreds.
@ScottNintendo Neat, I have six of them thanks to a surprise mom gave me. I read about that online too. Here in the US, Smurfs merch isn't common here. Most I have are a few plushies from when The Lost Village movie was new, a poster, and a few shirts. We do get the comic releases though, outside that usually nothing unless there's a new movie (at least from the looks of it).

@StableInvadeel
I love the thunder, last time we had a storm I was doing art in the night whilst listening to thunder and watching my window for lightning.
@Sunsy
Yeah because I'm in United Kingdom near Europe you can buy thousands of Smurf items online, there mostly shipped from Belgium or Germany.
I think there may be afew dealers on ebay USA for Smurf figures too.
I saw a documentary where some women collect thousands, there are so many of them.
I never knew before there was such a market for it, I watched Smurfs TV show as a kid but didn't know until as an Adult it was so popular.
@ScottNintendo Cool. Over here Amazon is amazingly an official place. They have their own Smurfs storefront. This is where I got two of my shirts from (nice too since it weaves out the potential bootlegs third party sellers sell).
I remember seeing the show on Cartoon Network when I was a kid, after seeing The Lost Village movie, I really enjoyed the movie a lot that I decided to pick up some of the DVDs out there to watch the show again.
@StableInvadeel Times like that, I like to play a handheld game to pass the time. One time the power was out for a week, and I ended up pulling out an old AA-battery powered GBA to play. Hope the power comes back on soon.

Here you could probably count the number of times it rains in a normal year with a single digit number.
More often than not, most of those are from hurricanes and storms.
It wasn't here, but we once had lighting strike right outside the house we were visiting at the moment, we were near a window when it happened, and it was blindingly scary. But nobody was hurt.
As for what to do, right now I'm keeping the dogs company. The thunder scares them.
@Sunsy It has been a good day for the most part, though I got a little hung up during some of the adulting. XD I've tabled some of that for Monday now since I'll have to consult my work's HR to get some answers. I have a rough idea on how my budget is going to run for the next few months at least. I'm trying to figure out retirement and income changes that are now in effect with my new job.
@StableInvadeel I feel for your dogs; a lot of them hate storms. I know someone who sometimes brings their Boxer into work (keeps him shut up in her office) because he absolutely hates them. He cowers and whines. He's a very well-behaved, laid-back older dog.
