@HobbitGamer I rest my case...
Now where's my pineapple pizza? You've no idea how much the bill was for that projector beam reaching all the way to the States, alerting you to the call...

As for weapons...I think the most dangerous things I have in my house are kitchen knives, frying pans, a box opener, scissors, and a softball bat.
Well, call me crazy, but I always make it a point to NEVER underestimate an angry woman with ample access to sharp and pointy kitchen accessories, so I'm not really feeling the innocence here...
Very wise. 😜
That pizza will arrive in about two weeks in a haphazard state if it's by USPS. XD

@Tyranexx My guess would have been an Apple IIe. I remember seeing one when I was really young, and it looked like a game had Atari 2600 graphics, I think the game was word munchers.

reads "American" stereotypes... Where on earth do y'all live? I grew up in a rural area and it wasn't that bad. We had a few rednecks at my schools but it was mostly farmer's kids (That's rural for yuppies. Since the farmer's kids get all that nice government subsidy money. ) so aside from the big trucks they were mild.

@Ryu_Niiyama You can put any kind of country in those quotes, where it concerns stereotypes. Like I also said, all people from outside the Netherlands, or rather: mostly Americans and Japanese people, think that all the Netherlands is, consists of windmills, cheese, tulip fields, wooden shoes and of course there's kind of a running gag going on that practically the entire Dutch population uses the frozen canals in the winter to skate to work...
In France, everyone drinks wine and eats cheese, either with croissants or baguettes.
In Spain, all they drink is Sangria, they all eat paella and dance the flamenco, all while watching the bull fights.
In Italy, they all drink prosecco (or wine or limoncello nowadays), and they all eat pasta dishes or pizza and other foods with lots of olive oil and garlic.
In Greece, they all dance the sirtaki, drink ouzo and eat a lot of fish, goat and lamb/sheep related products.
In Scotland, they all drink whiskey and eat haggis, while dancing around in their man skirts, playing the bag pipes.
In Norway, they all drink an insane amount of beer and eat...
@ThanosReXXX hmm I've never heard many of those stereotypes although the croissants are AMAZING in Paris so if I lived there I would totally eat them at every meal. I've forbidden myself from going back to Italy because the food is too good..I won't come back home. Greece is on my list though.

In true RL terms, this was mostly my experience. I was one of those farmer's kids, though I didn't fit with the typical farmer kid crowd due to my interests; the only stuff I could relate with anyone on in that department was that I liked animals. My high school was a joint one that had all the grade levels in one building. The high school had its own wing.
@ThanosReXXX I would think that in your location, pizza wouldn't be too hard to come by if you needed a replacement....
the U.S. Postal Service isn't usually terrible, but don't discount all the horror stories either. Most of my experiences haven't been bad, but I have had issues with the local post office with getting them to quit holding my mail after I get back from a trip. Thankfully I've circumvented the problem by asking some neighbors to grab my mail for me whenever I vanish from town for awhile. I do the same in turn when they travel.
@Sunsy It very well could be, but I'm not sure. My memory on its exact appearance is foggy, and I was too young to appreciate system specs then. XD I can easily inquire about it, but that was so long ago that I'm sure the machine has been sent to the junkyard by now.
@RedderRugfish Opinions on RCT 3 out there have tended to vary in my experience. Some people loved the game, while others found it to be meh. I didn't mean to imply that it was terrible, merely that many consider the first two to be the pinnacle of the series.
I remember briefly looking into the 3DS version of RCT and backed off from it pretty quickly. The little feedback available out there suggests it was pretty terrible.

I was watching this FF VIII PS1 being played on PS2 from Youtube and i was thinking to prepare myself to accept that 240p pixels and jagginess on my LED TV Sharp 32' with component cable for PS3.
I was excited to see FF VIII remaster on Switch, but after i realized it will be digital only and i saw huge differences between smoothness of 3D characters and blurriness of the BG, i was thinking to reconsider my plan B to get FF VIII PS1 instead since i really want physical games. I might consider FF VIII remaster but after i got PS1 version first.
FF VIII for me = 9 / 10, FF IX = 8 / 10
Contrary with FF VII = meh !
I don't want to replay FF VII again after finished once long time ago when i still played with pirated copies and modded machine.
I bought a burr grinder for coffee beans this week and finally cleaned and set it up yesterday. I’m enjoying my first cup right now, and there’s a difference in the final product. It smells and tastes a bit stronger and has a slightly oilier texture. It’s a definite improvement over the blade grinder, and the extra cost should offset if it turns out to last a while. I was buying a new blade grinder every year to 18 months.
@ThanosReXXX - When I mentioned my basement, I was referring to the secret basement I dug under my basement. The basement basement. Actually, I was referring to the basement I dug under the basement basement. The basement’s basement basement. Everyone knows about basement basements these days, but they’ll never find me or my stash when I’m hiding in my basement’s basement basement!
I was trying out a new American stereotype there. While I do have something for emergencies, I’m not a guns and ammo guy. I don’t carry, and in general think guns are for sissies and scared people. I may regret this when zombies are among us, but I think reliance on guns and ammo in that scenario to be more of a hindrance than anything. Too loud and too much weight to carry. I’d be maxing out my stealth and mobility stats in a zombpocalypse.
@Ryu_Niiyama Well, Greece is a nice country to have on your list. I've been there three times: to the mainland and to two of the islands, namely Crete and Rhodos. All have been wonderful experiences. Great food, super-friendly people and both the nature and the sights are something to behold. When you walk around in the ruins, and also in certain natural areas, you can almost feel the ancient mythology surrounding you. It's damn near magical. I'm pretty sure I'm going to go back there again some day.
@Tyranexx of course we can get pizza over here, but it's not a real American pizza, and of course, it isn't one sent by @HobbitGamer, which also greatly adds to its value...
@bimmy-lee The basement's basement basement? That's surely one for the Prepper's dictionary (or rather: the Prepper's manual on how to REALLY survive an apocalypse), because it sounds so wonderfully paranoid...
