@Tyranexx - We have a PBS Kid’s Club membership that opens a treasure trove of kid’s content on Prime. Fred Rogers and LeVar Burton were good at treating kids like human beings. Caillou and Dora (Swiper aside) seem okay, but my kids only had a brief interest in those shows. It’s hard to find decent content for them.
@NintendoByNature - Congratulations on your anniversary. You’re good if you use the $10 to buy your wife flowers. Hope this cat balls situation gets squared away soon. Don’t turn your back on that mama cat during the extraction. She’ll be waiting for her moment.
@NintendoByNature A live trap? They're usually the best for these situations. That said, some cats are cleverer than others, so it doesn't always work. Particularly if they've been exposed to them a few times. That's actually how we had to teach ours to stay out of them when we were trying to catch and remove something else. (Typically an opossum. Greedy things....)
Also, happy anniversary! ^^
@bimmy-lee _Mr. Rogers and Reading Rainbow were two of my favorite educstional shows as a kid. Arthur, Cyberchase, and Sagwa were up there in my book too.
In my VERY youthful days, I also had a thing for Barney admittedly.
Currently playing: Pokemon Scarlet DLC, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury (Switch)
My “kid shows” (discounting the cartoon commercials, of course) were Mr Rogers, Reading Rainbow, Magic School Bus. Oh, and Mr Wizard. I would make sure I was ready for school by 530 just so I could watch Mr Wizard before I had to leave. Funny that I was excited about that when the kids in homeroom just talked about South Park.

@Ninfan
Dora the movie was...... Even worse than Indiana Jones to be honest. 😶
There were some cringeful scenes to watch due to very embarrassing to watch or too kiddie to be watched.
@RedderRugfish
Spoiler alerts ! The cringeful moments from Dora movie were: Dora's naive behaviour which caught her in trouble in her new high school, Alejandro cried like a bratz when he realized he was still alive after being sucked into quicksand and being rescued by Dora's gang, Dora was singing about Poo Shovel song to make a hole for poo, Dora's yoyo that knocked out one of treasure hunter kidnapper, the journey to find Parapata temple was like mediocre version of Indiana Jones (too fake), the Dora's dance with High school students to celebrate their adventures was like kiddie song sung and performed by teenagers
I've been moved to Senior FMCG Colleague so I now work directly under my supervisor and manager. It's...stressful. The only other person who has been there as long as me only oversees one department, pet food. I oversee.... 4. Well, 3, but the fourth is split between myself and 2 others who only do 12 or 16 hours a week. Confectionery, Tea and Coffee, Biscuits and now food, which by the company department ordering means I actually cover everything except Drinks, Alcohol, Pet, Cleaning, Laundry and Health.
So over half the department falls under my oversight.
As my manager puts it "He trusts me". Very weird.
I'm also working on 4 hours sleep. God help me.
Now Playing: Mario & Luigi Brothership, Sonic x Shadow Generations
Now Streaming: The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom
Hey, I just heard that recent Apple Laptops have finally started using USB-C. Why the heck does Apple still sell iPhones with proprietary nonsense chargers that only work with iPhone?!
This makes NSO look smart...

@Tyranexx - Haha, nothing wrong with Barney. He’s goofy, but the show is sweet and somewhat educational. My youngest brother watched it a lot, my kids a little bit. I wanted to follow up with you on the Homeward Bound right before you left for vacation, but forgot. What a great kid’s movie! It’s even fun to watch now to laugh at the acting, and marvel at the awkward 1993 fashion.
@NintendoByNature - A big tub of ice cream is perfect, everyone wins.
@HobbitGamer - Did you ever watch any Today’s Special? It was a kid’s show featuring one of the tropes that terrified me the most when I was young: mannequins that come to life when nobody is around. Yuck. I watched it soaked in fear.
@bimmy-lee got a trap set up today. But its a make shift one with tuna ( I know, how original lol). Trying to see if it works. Otherwise my boss told me to go over to Menards or home depot since they have small traps there. Stay tuned
@NintendoByNature - Haha, the tuna and makeshift trap have a definitive Loony Toon quality to them. You’ll be okay as long as you don’t start hunting wascaly kittens to make kitty stew. I’ll be refreshing often to see how this goes for you. Hope it goes well.
