@Tyranexx he's definitely trying to only feed cats but still it just attracts all sorts of stiff . Not his fault , but still an issue. The kittens can walk, eyes open, and even play with the siblings. I'm going to call it into the humane society tomorrow since animal control was a no go. If they turn me down, I have no choice but to look into trapping them. I have no equipment for it though which stinks. But oh well. And wow I didn't know you can really tell the difference male and female cats. Dogs , yes. I'll prob update you guys after work tomorrow with what happens

On the topic of cats, stray cats are pretty common in Japan. There are several that live near the local 7/11 store and in winter always sneak in after customers to warm up. I'm always tempted to feed them, but I'm a regular at the store and I'm sure the owner wont appreciate that. She already asked me to take them home once, but like I said, not allowed in my building.

Someday, if I get a bit bigger apartment and they allow it, I'll get one though. At least then I can talk to the cat instead of my posters and anime figures. lol

@NintendoByNature - I love all animals, but domesticated strays are a public nuisance, and feeding them only leads to trouble. AC&C is totally worthless in my town too. Box those kittens up, take them to the shelter, and give them a chance at a decent life. You could trade them in on a 35-55 pound terrier mix, and you won’t see an animal in your yard again.

I'd like a cat or two, but I don't want one indoors. Having one outside where I live, especially since they're usually excellent escape artists, would be a death sentence. I live next to a pretty busy road.

@NintendoByNature Ah good, definitely old enough to be handled/moved with few issues then. Though if they're very mobile, it could be fun to catch them. I'd definitely try to get professionals to do it if possible. Less time and headache on your part lol.

I'm surprised your kids aren't head over heels in love with them yet tbh, unless they haven't really seen them.

@bimmy-lee I felt bad about letting them be out there tonight but they found a little hole under my porch so that's where they're hiding. Boxing I will do tomorrow if need be. It's just in a tough spot to get them. I have a big Bush right where they come out so it's not like I can be like " oh hey yall! Come on down into my ol hand! " lol I'll prob have to get tricky with the whole thing. Plus the mom was hissing at me from the window while I was inside my house. so she doesn't seem too friendly and my dad was saying just stay away from them since they could have diseases. So he kind of talked me out of grabbing at them. It doesn't help I get nervous in situations like this (trying to round up kittens while watching for the mama.

@Tyranexx they're staring out the window non stop lol. Then yelling at me for not getting them and putting them in the box.

@Ryu_Niiyama Yeah, I've heard their shows are legendary good.. their tour in Europe went down a storm (I missed it unfortunately) so to watch them live will be a bucket list tick 😆

Edit: As for the disease thing, you'd probably be fine after a good hand washing and by avoiding touching the usual illness-prone body components (mouth, eyes, etc.).

@bimmy-lee may not even need to be that large! Rocky is 11lbs and he chases everything away. Even likes to have a go at Jack, who is (18lbs and twice the size). Of course jack plays along, then turns the tables.

By looking: if you see there are two "balls" near of its rear, it is male cat. The female cat has a lot of nipples on its belly.

By listening: Male cat usually has deeper voices than females. The cat howling usually done by male vs male cats, oftenly about territory.

@NintendoByNature - Ah, sorry, didn’t realize the mom was around. I thought the kittens were on their own. She’ll probably move them if she understands she’s picked a bad spot to nest. Hobbit is right too, a little bit of terrier goes a long way. Your neighbor has created a bad situation. He probably thinks he’s helping these animals, but he’s really not. He’s basically offering up a petrie dish to start a plague. You do not want city possum and raccoons hanging around your place. Hope you can get it resolved.

@HobbitGamer - Hey yo, Rocko has big shoes to fill with a name like that, you know. You’s and I’s may not understand, but punchers gotta punch, know what I’m sayin? Pets and animals are great. It’s been a little over two years since we had multiple pets in the house. Our old boy is at least twelve this year, and he’s slowing way down. We’ll probably let him live out his days in peace, then get a couple youngsters. My daughter reeeally wants a cat, but I have a weird thing where I’m allergic to some cats. Some I’m totally fine with, and others make my face slide right off my head. It’s pure trial and error, and I’m not willing to pay for a hypo allergenic kitten. Not really into paying for any pet when there are shelters full of them all hoping for a home.

@bimmy-lee I have a young 9 mo old pup who's too nice for his own good. He probably wouldnt scare the mom away. Instead invite it in lol.
@Anti-Matter I guess i just proved im the fool of the day. In all the cats I've seen, not once have I seen their extra parts on the rear side. Needless to say, I just assumed they were always hidden under furr.

@NintendoByNature - Your pup might stake his claim to your yard when he’s grown this fall. Sorta depends on the breed and personality. It’s good that he’s friendly, but if he decides your yard is his, he’ll probably keep animals away just by barking.

Wow....I walk away from this thread for a few hours, I come back, and we're talking about balls and nipples, and the conversation is lead by Anti-Matter, and not Thanos.
