@Morpheel Aha... Well, then it would seem that it indeed WAS to be. No use watching Endgame if you haven't watched the first half of that story line. Much of Endgame is going to make no sense to you whatsoever if you don't know all about the "previously, on Avengers" bit...
'The console wars are like boobs: Sony and Microsoft fight over which ones look the nicest and Nintendo's are the most fun to play with.'
I'm gonna have to skip Endgame unfortunately. I've seen some of the MCU movies but feel like I'd be missing some context here. Unfortunately I kind of know how Infinity War ended despite not seeing it. I can sometimes avoid online spoilers for months on end, but sometimes I accidentally run across something....
Everyone: LOL It's been a week! Spoiler timez! 🤪
Me: But but...I haven't seen it yet!
I totally understand all the memes circulating about not spoiling this one.
@ThanosReXXX 10-4 on the barbecue! 8D Though I am pretty introverted in general, so I'd probably show up, eat, socialize a little, then quietly fade out. XD I certainly enjoy helping people, but I admittedly don't have the most welcoming demeanor IRL due to shyness/some discomfort in public settings in general. I often worry that it comes off negatively on some people.
@HeavyArms55 I totally get where you're coming from. Just because one disagrees with something doesn't mean they objectively hate that concept/person/group etc. It's a fallacy of the internet.
While I much prefer communication via text as it's easy to proofread, there's still the loss of tone and body language to name a few things. Even so, I've never been the best interpreter of meanings and sarcasm...though I've gotten better. If a post comes off in a negative tone to me, I try to read it from a different point of view.
Some Marvel completionists/extremists might also argue that besides Avengers Infinity War, you would also first have to see the Captain Marvel movie, seeing as she plays an essential role in Endgame.

@Tyranexx Well, apparently, you do have that kind of person hidden away inside you somewhere, because you certainly don't come across as negative to me, much less shy. Then again: it IS what online forums are perfectly suited for, of course, since we can communicate more freely than in real life, but I just like to say that I've never gotten any kind of negative vibe from you, hence my description of your online persona.
But you really shouldn't worry about what other people think. Just be you, or the best you that you can be, and others will either accept that or not. The people that don't, aren't worth knowing anyway. That's always my modus operandi, anyways...
EDIT:
I think that the Marvel related part of comment #29,765 (as well as all of comment #29,762) could also apply to you. Most Marvel trilogies can be watched without having watched any others, although there IS of course a connecting story line, but the whole Thanos saga is so closely connected, that it wouldn't make much sense to watch the last movie first.
@Foxy-Goddess-Scotchy@Octane Ha! That's hilarious. I had no idea. Was that already a thing right after the Infinity War movie, or is this an Endgame thing? How the heck would someone get to know about this anyway? We should spread the fun. More people must click on my glove and suffer the consequences...
@Octane Writing 'Thanos' without a capital T.... tssss... so Dutch...
I still haven’t seen the Spider-Man MCU versions. I think I’m caught up on everything else, though. I’m absolutely sure I’ve seen everything other than Iron Man 1 & 2 out of order. Meh. I verily enjoyed Black Panther and Civil War.
Edit: Octane wins. Time for someone to change their user name 😛
