Except for Dumbo (2019), the Cartoon and the Live Action movie version are two completely Different movies.

@Anti-Matter True. I'm not sure "we have no ideas so lets take our old ones and rearrange them for modern socio-political tastes" is that much better though.

@AlohaPizzaJack They ban Song of the South from ever publishing again, despite it containing what is practically a company theme song because it's "racist", then they trash every other culture in the world with blithe historical makeovers, and that's fine.

After NL put up those videos of that old Japanese gaming show that had that pre-release footage of SM64 & SMRPG, I went to the YouTube channel that put them up and they have tons of episodes up, dating back to October 1994 (and they seem to be adding more pretty regularly.

Just watched one this morning (it was the second oldest one they had up, so October 14th or 16th, '94), where they had a quickfire game review section (I noticed a Mega Drive Mega Man game that got a middling score, some Go & Mahjong games with middling scores, and an isometric Kemco platformer for the Super Famicom that reviewed pretty well), a segment on Shin Megami Tensei IF, a segment inside the Kemco offices, and a segnent where they tried out some then upcoming arcade games at a trade expo (Samurai Spirits from SNK, Ace Driver from Namco, and some sort of widescreen 6 player light gun title called Attack of the Zolgear).

I don't understand a lick of Japanese (other than some Katakana), but these videos are highly interesting to me.

I had to move stuff and thangs today since i'm always getting the heavy things to lift. At the very least, I was provided with pizza WITHOUT pineapples! Also the pizza was from the FUTURE!

Full disclosure, I gave up pizza for lent( I do every year). Not getting into religious belief discussion at all but man.... do you guys realize how hard it is that we always talk about pizza or pineapple pizza when i cant have it lol.. and you @AlohaPizzaJack ....youre the worst of all with your pizza face always smiling back at me, knowing darn well i can't eat It! 😅
