@AlohaPizzaJack
I left my Toy Cons 01 on the top of book shelf and caught some dust for several months. đ
I haven't played my LABO since i was focusing on 3DS games.
The gossip going around is that they did this to themselves, the few pics I've seen of them don't look so bad, like a few bruises at most... So this seems like a good guess... (If a narco was behind this they would not be so... Alive).
The current theory is that they want to scare away the new police chief, who has military background and is apparently very strict.
@Morpheel Ah... smells like corruption. The dark seed of humanity, that unfortunately is SO hard to eradicate, if at all. Actually makes me kinda sad to be a part of the same species sometimes...
P.S.
You should have said "spill the beans". Would have been funnier, with your origins and whereabouts and all...
'The console wars are like boobs: Sony and Microsoft fight over which ones look the nicest and Nintendo's are the most fun to play with.'
@Morpheel The general belief is that 'spilling the beans' originates from ancient Greece, where people cast secret votes by putting white or black beans in an opaque pottery jar (a white bean indicated a positive vote and a black bean was negative). If someone accidentally or deliberately knocked over the jar, the beans would pour out and the âsecretâ would be revealed early, so they would have âspilled the beansâ.
Some also say that it comes from the early days of the Western pioneers, eating canned beans. Even back then, beans already came canned with all kinds of sauces and/or added ingredients, actually making it quite easy to spill them.
And then there's various sources claiming it comes from either the late 1800's or the early 1900's and horse racing, where it was a metaphor for "upsetting a previously stable situation by talking out of turn" (pun in relation to horses probably not intended... ), which later evolved into the current meaning of giving away (secret) information to other parties.
@Morpheel@AlohaPizzaJack There may not be any reading required to play the game, but I would imagine it to be rather prudent to take note of the warnings on the package, so I hope that any potential buyers have (at the very least) read those...
I'm actually pretty unconcerned with my trainer's outfit in PoGo. The combination would drive some fashionistas nuts, but I'm also not about to go out of my way to buy virtual clothes. XD
This blue eye perceives all things conjoined. The past, the future, and the present. Everything flows and all is connected. This eye is not merely seen reality. It is touching the truth. Open the eye of truth... There is nothing to fear.
@Tyranexx you can always just save coins from protecting gyms. You can get up to 50 a day, so you can slowly build a look from that.
Or save that for bundles. I guess that's a good use.
I personally was saving up to get the team rocket costume, but then they released the aqua/magma sets for considerably less coins, so I went and got the team aqua costume instead.
@Morrow Well I mean there is keigo/teneigo, honorific/polite speech. But in modern Japanese its really saved for high level business and politics. Using it in day to day among peers and friends would give the impression you either think you are way better than them, or they are way better than you, depending on how you spoke. Or if you mixed it up, like some beginners do, they'd realize you're a... silly... foreigner. lol

@Heavyarms55 I think silly foreigner was inevitable when I wanted to master a way of speech just for a quick joke xD. Well that's why I said I would apologize after the joke. I do plan on studying really hard for Japanese before I visit. I think speaking it will be easier for me than writing/reading it though. Man that kanji, and hiragana is hard. How a single tiny stroke can make a difference word/letter. I feel like I need to examine them like an FBI agent, lol.
