@nintendobynature I decided to go with the N30 Pro in the NES style. The sticks are smaller than the SN30, but I figured that might be better for me. And the triggers side by side instead of stacked would keep my rough hands from clawing up.

Let me know how you end up liking. I'm still on the fence with the f30 pro
Tried my luck making a plushie without following a pattern.
I think it looks nice enough.
All it needs is a certain hat, and voila! An instant Freddy Fazbear!
I seriously do like it. I knew how to cross-stitch at one point, but that's about it. I feel like I should at least learn how to properly mend pants....
Decision time... almost done with guacamelee and I absolutely love it. Switch eshop now has guacamelee 2 on sale but there's so much coming up that ill have to play. Good time to be a gamer i guess 😄
@nintendobynature It's fantastic! You asked, so here goes: deep breath
The sticks are about the size of the Joycon sticks, but are a harder plastic one piece, so I don't have a fear of breaking them. The dpad is the best since the original snes. The buttons are nice and clicky, without any of that weird top resistance that makes it feel gated. The ZL/R placement looks weird side-by-side with L/R instead up stacked, but it works out well. I didn't feel like there was much useless travel in any button, either. The rumble isn't HD, but it is still noticeable. The only downside I've found so far is that I can't bring the system up from sleep with it.
Here's a quick test rundown I did on stuff last night:
NES games (SMB 2/3, Kirby, Dr Mario, Tecmobowl) - Dpad made a world of difference to my play. Got to world 4-3 in SMB3 without dyin. Having the Start/Select buttons in an NES placement definitely made a difference in some games.
BotW - I'm starting to prefer this over my Pro Controller after just 20 minutes. Did a stasis object shrine and explored with some light combat and climbing. The lighter weight (1.1lbs!) and shape means I'm not vise-gripping handles and that somehow helps my thumbs free up(?). The motion for slate and bow view works well.
Fortnite - I'll have to configure my own controls. I struggled moving in the menu because I kept going for the Dpad. I may even try gyro after seeing it in BotW
NSMBUD - Since you can play with a dpad, this game is going to get some more love this weekend. I made it through a ghost house level without getting hit as Toad.

@ThanosReXXX "Well, you know how I feel about men knitting, but I can't help but appreciate your skill, so there."
Wait....why have there been prior conversations about men knitting at all?
BTW, remember pre-emptive pessimism and it's value? It strikes again. I have a (famously cheap brand but high value for the dollar) audio switch panel/processor that heads my main audio rack. Thing's CHEEPCHEEP (relatively) but it's known to be pretty robust, reliable, and a solid performer. I've had it for 8 years or so, but it was scarcely used for most of that, and not even plugged in. Still, it's the head for the whole system so it's an important piece (just the array of input switching it offers is worth more in individual switch/covnverter boxes than the whole unit, and does it sleekly.) So I've been seeking a used one for ages just to have around in the event this one fails since it's the most used single component, and it's not exactly premium build (but it is robust anyway, it may be "made in China" quality but it's a German budget design, and it's not a plastic shell, it's really meant for budget studio/live-sound use.) Finally the other day, one showed up so I ordered it. A day too late. Yesterday the one it was supposed to be a backup for seems to have fried the input board when a power cord was kind of iffily in it's socket and caused it to flicker quickly on and off a few times.....now it sees no inputs. So the backup spare will go right into production as soon as it arrives, and I'll need to buy ANOTHER backup spare, since the production one couldn't even last until it's own backup spare arrived to fail.
My pessimism is just not pre-emptive enough. But at least it was ALMOST in sync with failure rates
Btw, what is the differences between Pokemon Diamond, Pearl and Platinum ?
The things i only noticed the differences from three of them are :
1. They have different Legendary Pokemons. (Diamond = Dialga, Pearl = Palkia, Platinum = Giratina)
2. The boy / girl character wore different outfits on Platinum version.
What else for other differences ?
Pearl and Diamond are the same game with a few different wild pokemon and a different legendary pokemon in the center of the story.
Platinum is an updated third version, basically the same game as Diamond and Pearl, but with additions and new story secuences to add Giratina into the mix.
It also has the same Battle Frontier as Heart Gold/Soul Silver, and from what I know the whole game was made faster.
If you were to get just one of them, I'd recommend going with Platinum, since it's, well updated and with more content.
