Topic: The Chit-Chat Thread

Here I go living my life thinking I buy fancy hipster bread, and now I find out it's just owned by the same big company that makes the regular white bread.

It's a bread conspiracy.

So i think my Retron 3 bit the dust this evening.

My first clue was when it wasn't powering up at all. But i figured it might be the AC adapter, so i swapped it out for a spare i had in my Unending Drawers of Random Electronic Device Cables and Things^TM.

My second clue was when i tried powering it up with the new AC adapter and while the "power on" LED light up this time, smoke started to pour out of the cartridge slots. I'm pretty sure it's not supposed to do that.

Now my living room smells like burnt plastic.

And i have no means of playing my SNES or SuperFami games at the moment (i used the R3 just for SNES/SF and Genny/MD; i do have a Genny, it's a pain to hook it up without a coax input on my TV, but at least i have it).

But my apartment didn't burn down, so i got that going for me ...

@Blitzenexx Concerning the "Beezin": in what universe did you think they would not go that far, when they were already thinking that chewing on a Tide pod might be a good idea for a fun video challenge?

@ReaderRagfihs I think that something that's actually edible isn't challenging enough, so you'd probably have to exchange the yogurt for fabric softener or something like that. And the granola for plastic beads.
That'll definitely get the young'uns in gear...
