Be yourself, no matter who you are!
For me, that's being madly in love with fictional characters. Plz don't judge.
Yes, my first anime was High School DxD. Don't ask or judge!

10 inches of tomorrow. (sounds like the name of a futuristic alternative band)

This blue eye perceives all things conjoined. The past, the future, and the present. Everything flows and all is connected. This eye is not merely seen reality. It is touching the truth. Open the eye of truth... There is nothing to fear.

Since the article about Splatoon 2 hackers disconnecting players during a League battle, I would like to bring up my opinion about the supposed dedicated server solution.

According to one of the commentors on that article, dedicated servers can also be hacked. Upon looking it up on Google, I found his claim to be true. So even if Nintendo does switch their servers to dedicated servers, hackers can still find a way to hack into them and make people's lives miserable.

Sorry for asking this, but since some users are asking for dedicated servers in NSO, will they really work? I don't think so. Because like any other server, dedicated servers can be hacked into by hackers thanks to the rapid growth of our world's technology which is both a blessing and a curse.

Ugh DHL is getting slower and slower here in my town.

So, they receive my purchases in the next town over. That part is usually very fast. It's usually one to three days to get there depending on where the package comes from (Mexico or the US).

Now, this next town over is about 2 hours away from mine, and they usually receive these packages very early into the morning, so you'd think they'd reach me that same day, but no. They would always leave them waiting a whole full day before doing the delivery. That's ok, it's ok I can understand, maybe there's paperwork to do.

But lately for some reason every purchase I make is retained several days. Like, I understand if they don't make deliveries on saturday and sunday, but monday? Why leave me hanging 2+days?

Bloop.

Okay, I'm confused right now. What will make it more difficult? Forgive me for asking such a silly question.

I was very concerned to see humanity in video games right now. Like, to win the game, everything is allowed including the illegal ways just only to feed their stupid desires because they were hungry for Winning the games even by dirty tricks.
Their arrogance and ignorance.... were soooo absurd and intolerable.

I know. But we need to learn to report them. Even if it doesn't make the problem go away for good, it will help make a clean community.

@Alantor28 using dedicated servers is inherently more secure against ddos than p2p connection is what the logic is.
On the flip side, that strength for dedicated means that if there were a large enough ddos, it would have a larger player base impact. But because of the nature of dedicated, there is more onus put on security and access restriction. It’s kinda like a combination of safety in numbers and centralized access.

I've got suspicions that the P2P vs Dedicated Servers debate is similar to the bit wars of the 90s. Most people have no real idea what it means but still use them as fuel for their arguments.

Also, dedicated servers are very expensive to maintain. It can be at least $100,000 a year for a dedicated server that can handle 10,000 players. Can you imagine just how much it would cost to run dedicated servers for all of Nintendo's online games, with some such as Mario Kart, Splatoon, and Smash having thousands of daily players? $20 a year per player likely isn't nearly enough to cover that.

Yikes! Dedicated servers are that expensive?! Hate to see the bills for that...

Rocket league uses its own dedicated servers and charges us no subscription but you need a NSO to play it online. It works great and have not had any problems. Lots of free to play and mobile games use servers
