I was very concerned to see humanity in video games right now. Like, to win the game, everything is allowed including the illegal ways just only to feed their stupid desires because they were hungry for Winning the games even by dirty tricks.
Their arrogance and ignorance.... were soooo absurd and intolerable.

I know. But we need to learn to report them. Even if it doesn't make the problem go away for good, it will help make a clean community.
@Alantor28 using dedicated servers is inherently more secure against ddos than p2p connection is what the logic is.
On the flip side, that strength for dedicated means that if there were a large enough ddos, it would have a larger player base impact. But because of the nature of dedicated, there is more onus put on security and access restriction. It’s kinda like a combination of safety in numbers and centralized access.

I've got suspicions that the P2P vs Dedicated Servers debate is similar to the bit wars of the 90s. Most people have no real idea what it means but still use them as fuel for their arguments.
Also, dedicated servers are very expensive to maintain. It can be at least $100,000 a year for a dedicated server that can handle 10,000 players. Can you imagine just how much it would cost to run dedicated servers for all of Nintendo's online games, with some such as Mario Kart, Splatoon, and Smash having thousands of daily players? $20 a year per player likely isn't nearly enough to cover that.
Yikes! Dedicated servers are that expensive?! Hate to see the bills for that...
Rocket league uses its own dedicated servers and charges us no subscription but you need a NSO to play it online. It works great and have not had any problems. Lots of free to play and mobile games use servers

Hmm, true. But I'm more worried about how a company will pay $100K a year to keep dedicated servers up and running. What if the company has a low amount of money due to poor sales in a what if scenario and without the amount of money they need to keep the dedicated servers up and running, how are they gonna keep it running if they can't afford it?
@Ninfan Like I said before, you are out of luck when it comes to actual channels. IGN has podcasts sometimes, but I would recommend watching SpawnWave on YouTube to get the most recent gaming news.
