Here, have a Snickers bar...

@ogo79 Should I exchange it with a granola bar, then?

I had a piece of cold pizza for breakfast, followed by a Mountain Dew. Then I went and moved boxes of paper at work. Then went to Lowe’s and got 40 cu ft of mulch and dirt to go plant things. I’ve got a taco and a donut waiting on me.

I had to make a late Christmas return at a town a little over half an hour away today. While there, I decided to hit up their GameStop. Their Nintendo section was rather miniscule, and the 3DS games were almost borderline non-existent with new mixed in with pre-owned. The store was about 32% Xbox, 32% PlayStation, 18% toys/merch, and 8% Nintendo.

I feel spoiled by my local one now. The toy ratio is much less. While the Nintendo section is slightly smaller, it's not that glaringly unbalanced. ...Plus the games are arranged better IMO.

Yes, I am one of those people who will take a book or game that I feel is misplaced and put it back on its respective shelf sorted by author, publisher, and genre.

@Blitzenexx We really gotta stop having things in common. It's starting to become a bit eerie...
Although I don't have that with books, but I can't stand people stuffing sandwiches or salads in a different aisle than the one they originally came from. All anti-socials, who are apparently too lazy to walk back and put stuff where it actually belongs...

But erm... late Christmas return? Talk about an understatement...

@ThanosReXXX: I don't go to said town often as there isn't really a need to. I tried getting my sister to return it for me as she heads that way more often, but it was like pulling teeth. XD The return policy was good for about a week yet. It was a top from a clothing store, so I exchanged it for one shirt and bought another. The joys of getting a new wardrobe...lol.

Misplaced items in general drive me nuts, but games, CDs, and books trigger me the most. If I know a store well enough and have the time, I'll typically put an out of place item back.

Heaven forbid if they ever put up a Barnes and Noble nearby....

@Blitzenexx Some shops/stores/super markets are large enough, that they could make an actual job out of that, albeit probably a part-time one: item return-placement supervisor.

@subpopz @Blitzenexx Ha! A couple more people with the same habits as us, and we could start a Rearrangers Anonymous discussion group...

@ThanosReXXX @Blitzenexx I sometimes do the same thing. I scolded my mother once for putting coffee down on the soup isle. She said “well, they get paid to put it back”. I explained that they actually get paid to put in the correct place the first time. Then I asked “are you the person who keeps coming in my store and putting the new releases down next to my candy?” (When I ran a Blockbuster) then she seemed to get the idea 😂

@JackEatsSparrows So, we're four heads strong now, then? I'd say we're about 4 people shy of that Rearrangers Anonymous group...

@ReaderRagfihs A normal one, or a so-called professional broadcast monitor (also known as PVM)?
The normal ones aren't really that sought after. It's these models here, that are the ones that every retro gamer fan would (and should) want to own, because their quality is second to none:

The more I think about a Rearrangers Anonymous group, the more I like the idea! XD

I really don't see what's so hard about putting something back in the correct place if you don't want it tbh.

@Blitzenexx Probably because most of these people are already halfway through the store, and close to the register, so they just want to quickly get rid of the stuff that they ultimately decided not to buy after all.
So, they're just too lazy and/or anti-social to walk back and put it back where it actually belongs.

I have seen meats and other frozen foods being left out in the open in stores a little bit too often.

Guess some very special kind of people decide they don't want that expensive bacon at the last minute, and think it's ok to leave it wherever they are.

I won't really put misplaced things back on their place unless it's like, a few steps away

I'm not very observant either, so chances are I won't even notice a misplaced object unless it's super blatant.
