I got praised at work! Even with losing all my strength and feeling intense pain through my body all shift, I tidied up the main food aisle on my own and....the supervisor said it looked flipping (Changed it for you!) incredible, since you can stand at the far end (And this aint no short aisle) and see EVERY product with just a glance.
That made my day.

Far as anyone can get to know someone online, I think it was probably well-deserved.
I'm not sure how much that Ask An American thread has taken off since I last checked this morning, though I have a couple of notifications in it that I'll respond to in awhile. FWIW, I've tried to stay on-topic with my responses in that thread and not go off on random tangents.
That's not to say that I wouldn't like to discuss my opinions and views about some issues in a civil, mutually respectable manner. Unfortunately, I've used the internet enough to know that any productive discussion often gets derailed or drowned out by those who throw any opinions other than their own out and tend to paint everyone in a broad, diverse group or groups with the same brush. Some of the early posts in that thread provide a classic example.

I currently like my Sony DVD player that upscales to 1080P, but I have felt the need to jump on the Blu-ray wagon on and off again recently.
@Blitzenexx You're more than welcome. As for the current player, I actually never heard of a DVD player that upscales to Full HD, so that's new for me. I only thought Bluray players did that with DVD's. I would almost certainly keep that as a spare, then, if you decide to go for the Bluray player.
One other nice thing about it, or actually two, is that it is future proof, in that it allows streaming and has apps such as Netflix and YouTube, and you can attach your own USB media to play content from, so it caters to all kinds of preferences. I myself have the more luxurious (but also older) variant from LG, that still came with an internal hard drive, and a smart card input, so I can also watch TV on it, and record programs, or copy from USB devices to the internal drive.
But it is also twice as wide in size, whereas the one I linked to, can easily fit in an average-sized bag/backpack, so you can even take it with you to family, friends or on holiday, should you choose to do so.

@ThanosReXXX Even with our hours but cut down drastically to save money (Turns out January is being FAR quieter than expected), I'm still doing 16 hours a week and I aim to make those 16 worthwhile.

Used to work for a big firm, had a sales team, trained youngsters, got tired of the typical company machinations and power structures, so I quit and started for myself, and have done so ever since, albeit with varying degrees of success. Harder, but ultimately less stressful and more satisfying.

Guys, I have a question for you. Is it alright for me to enjoy Nintendo Switch Online Service? I mean, sure I enjoyed it and don't mind the flaws it has right now, but I just don't want people to forcefully change my mind about it. Should I just enjoy it as it is and not let other people tell me otherwise?
Also, I asked about this on the Nintendo Switch Thread, but again, this is a stupid question, but is there a thread for Pokemon Ultra Sun and Moon and Let's Go Pikachu and Let's Go Eevee trading and online battling. I really need to fill out my Pokedex on Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu.
@Alantor28 Well, obviously, the answer to that is "yes, of course you should". If you feel that it is enough for you, or if you find that you DO enjoy it, regardless of what anybody else thinks, then that's all that matters.
Don't know about the Pokemon related stuff, though. Normally, you should be able to find if there is a thread about it, by using the search option in the forum topics.

@Alantor28 There's nothing wrong with enjoying the service. I signed up and don't regret it. Arguing with others about it is pointless at this point though, we've all shared our opinions at this point and there's not much fruitful discussion to be had in that area anymore.
That's true. I guess you saw what's going on in the Nintendo Switch Online Subscription Thread, huh? I agree with you on that. I am not gonna argue with people who don't like it. It's just not worth the effort.

If you only care with Online service for playing Online (Mario Kart 8, Splatoon 2, ARMS, etc) then subcribe it with $20 for 1 year.
You can always ignoring the NES games compilation from Nintendo if you don't like it.
