I've found this can happen between posts that have months between the two in the same thread. I ran into that in the Video Game Alphabet thread a while back.

i got kicked out of the chinese buffet again tuesday.
i jumped on the table and yelled "streets of rage 4 comin soon you !@#$!"
and threw a bottle of hot mustard across the room that hit some lady.
who cares. in life you have to make an impact.
plus there wasnt any ton in my wonton soup.
all won and no ton.

Damn you. I spit out my beer laughing at this, as i could actually picture it in my mind.
But it's okay. I have a lot more beer.
(but no ton. damn those chinese restaurant folk, hoarding all the ton and dumping the inferior won on us.)

I would be grateful and say thanks for no ton, this is a won win situation.

So I just played PUBG on stream for the first time ever.

Man...its...kinda dull and waiting for stuff to happen in very VERY brief instances of janky combat.

Also my new puppy got overzealous when jumping around.

Why is it always my right arm? This is why I cant do a lot of things with it.

thats the 5th time or so someone told me they spit out something they were drinking from reading something i wrote. last month another friend told me he almost spit out his beer. i am responsible for many ruined keyboards and i have no regrets.

Good times.

Well, that's my blog updated with impressions of PUBG after my stream yesterday playing it for the first time.

Boy is it a mixed experience. Conceptually fantastic, but that concept is realised only in the final few minutes, as you are likely to die upon landing, run around not finding anything until the area shrinks enough with around 20 players left, or run around, find nothing, and die from a blind shot.

Still...I'm glad my PC managed to run that, a Skype call, stream it to Twitch at 1080p60fps, run XSplit (And thus a view of the game on my other monitor), with minimal fuss.

I wont try with Ultra settings though...

@Joeynator3000 oh well to be fair we were doing really well until the last few minutes.

Good god my puppy is teething andthe way to get puppy teeth out is to encouraging biting various things.

Thing is he likes to run around and play a lot, so Ive become a teething toy.

My hand is mostly scars (fresh ones, not my pre existing deep ones) now. Ugh.

And i was gonna play more PUBG tonight

Teething puppies are the scourge of electronics. Keep any cables out of reach.

Or turn up the voltage, that'll teach them.

That will definitely make them stop.

I'd rather that Daxter stayed with us. I have terrible luck with dogs. My last Greyhound made it to 6 and my German Shepherd passed last year at 9.

And he has stopped trying to eat cables now. He prefers me. I've got teeth and claw marks up and down my arms now.

Well, if he hurts you then instead of just accepting it and teaching him that it's ok to hurt you, you could use this oportunity to teach him about boundaries and what's ok and what's not during playtime.

A nice way to show him that you're hurt is to react as a puppy would: yelp and remove yourself from play. Providing him with alternatives is also necessary, but don't do it after he hurts you, because that makes it a reward for hurting you.

When puppies grow with their littermates they teach each other, but when your only playmate is a human squeaky toy, it gets a bit harder to tell what's too much.
