Oh, yeah, the whole i numbers thing, lol. What's a good one to go with? I don't wanna go for the latest and greatest, just a little bit better than what I already have. Which is 3.8 GHz...
Actually, took another look, so they do tell you the speed and all that. Anyways yeah they seem to be a bit more pricey. :c

Keep it PG-13-ish.
The top of the line at this moment are the quad core i7. The not so expensive option would be the i5, and among them you would have to check the proccesor speeds. If it is for gaming, a quad core is recommended from what I've read.
My cat kinda just disappeared along with her second batch of kittens several months ago. I can only hope they're still well and alive somewhere.
Her two older sons don't seem to be planing to move out any time soon though, fortunately. They're like the chillest cats, so they don't seem interested in dominating the neighborhood or colonizing new lands.
They're funny though, they absolutely do not like being handled, even just trying to pet them results in the liquid dance of human avoidance cats do, and while they're not agressive or mean, picking them up results in annoyed cats trying to jump off at every chance... But if I go and sit anywhere within their reach... They become total lap cats. With the purring and slow blinking and everthing.
Even then, they still seem to be more interested in "grooming" my hands (aka sanding my skin) than in being pet though.
yeah and everyone thinks the next nintendo direct is gonna be about mother 3.
i hope reggie gives everyone links to online stores to get the english reproduction carts themselves and stop acting like 30 year old crybabies. juuust like this insecure little fellow below:

As @ogo79 said, the SNS-RZ-USA is a prime giveaway that it's not a legit retail cart.

So in the never ending cycle of "Your plans are s*** and the world wants you to know", my plans for the year have just been...well swiftly annihilated.
YouTube's response to the Paul brothers cocking up has been...to fix a problem separate to the issue that doesn't really...fix much?
So now to earn ad revenue on YouTube you need:
10,000 lifetime views as stated from last year
1000 subscribers (This is new)
4000 hours worth of viewed content on your channel over a 12 month period (This is new)
From the above it also means you need to be on YouTube for 12 months first
Now if that isn't a huge barrier to entry for anyone looking to bring their idea to the platform I don't know what is. It could potentially slap down the growth for the platform at its source.
But on a personal note my goal for this year was to, for the first time in almost 9 years, make YouTube a supplemental income. Enough to basically fund itself. Pay for the Adobe bill every month. Not asking for a lot, you know?
That was the goal. Get a part time job to cover living, food, etc. with YouTube covering software licenses, which left me with enough time each week to do game development, my passion, and handle not only looking after my sister a lot, as my grandparents are becoming increasingly unable to do so while my mother works, but also my mother, who is now having difficulty moving and needs frequent blood tests and support from me.
Add on to that my planned two rounds of surgery with 4-10 week recover times, and it's my logical move. Work part time, gives me enough time to do everything I need to do without pushing myself to the points my doctor wouldn't want me pushing to after surgery, and work on my ideal career.
But with this YouTube change, that supplemental income is gone. Not reduced, not limited, gone completely.
That means an extra expense will need to come from my day job, when I get it. My software licenses are used in more than just YouTube and game development after all. So my job would need to pay for those. To cover that, I'd need to work more hours. If I work my hours, I cant spend as much time furthering my career, as I would have less free time after all my commitments.
But because I also need surgery, I lose work hours anyway.
Swear to God 2018 doesn't want me to do anything.

Was my birthday today! Got a little extra spending cash, so I’m trying to decide whether to save it up or break down and get Xenoblade Chronicles 2. I should wait and save the cash since I need it, but the other is a strong temptation.
@YummyHappyPills To be fair, making money off YouTube is difficult anyway. Twitch and Patreon seem to be far better options. Don't how much much views you were planning to get, but unless it's a consistent five-digit number on each video, the potential ad revenue isn't worth it.
@Octane It would have been enough, alongside other supplements, to cover a few software licenses.
But therein lies the issue.
To get money from Twitch you basically need to make a part time job which I wont be able to do, see above, and Patreon requires a sizeable base as very few out of hundreds would pledge.
So I'm re-evaluating a few things.
I've got a meeting today to start on welfare (a whopping £10 a week by estimations) else my family loses the house because I have no income to cover living costs.
They also revealed, slyly that a lot of YouTube features you got when partnered may vanish. So the stuff they made to help you grow? Gone.
They havent said to what extent. All I know is custom thumbnails is still a thing. End cards, links, so on so forth, I dont know.
Heck I cant remember if videos over x time limit were locked behind it.
This is more than a money issue from that side of things. As I said it is dangling some keys in front of people and yanking them away.
Plus this is Youtube being theirusual self.
Youtube sees a problem Youtube reacts to another totally unrelated and smaller issue that causes more problems for unrelated people
@Tyranexx Nah. 2018 reads like how 2017 was for me, with less relationships ending and death XD
I've been thinking of making this move for a while, it's just now YouTube has effectively shown me the longer I remain as I am on that platform, the harder it will become.

Do people still read blogs? I've been thinking of starting one for two years now but I don't know if people are still interested in those. People prefer YouTube nowadays but it's not for me. I would like to write but it seems that TL;DR holds true. It's evident here as well. How many of you skip the review and go straight to conclusion and score?
If I were to start one, I'd be writing about games, art, programming, music, etc. Things I like. I'm not looking for huge audience but I don't want to go totally unnoticed either. I want to recommend games, tell stories, make people think. I have bunch of things I want to talk about but I have no one to talk to. I can't just start a thread here on some obscure DS game and expect to have people to talk with. No one reads DS topics anymore and it's a shame.
It's its, not it's.

@YummyHappyPills Do you get many visitors? And could you also provide a link to your site? I'd like to take a look.
@Knighty_IX Did you or someone else delete your message? I can't see it here but I got an email saying I was mentioned here. I'd love to share my experiences with DS games. I don't have the time to write right now but I'll come back to it once I do.
