Not much of a game haul this year yet, but I did get Ultra Sun today. There is a gift exchange later this evening yet, but I don't have much hope. XD It's fine really since I got a ton of games for my bday a few months ago.

I've done pretty well in the non-game list items.

Yup, because we as gamers, love shirts more than anything.

I took Christmas night to play some of those Wii U eshop games that no one should buy or use like My Exotic Farm.

Since I purchase almost every last title that is released I end up with some real winners. My kids roll their eyes and know I have problems.

Christmas Eve/Day are for the most part marathon days for me, so unfortunately gaming usually isn't in the cards. My sister and I did squeeze in some Wii Sports on Sunday, though. We played some matches for real using our Miis, and used other "spare" Miis that had been created over the years to gloriously mess up on other matches. XD

It is entirely possible to get a gutter ball on the lanes on either side of your own. XD The game won't show you hitting the other pins, though.

how do i say "i got mario and luigi superstar saga + bowsers minions, and super mario 3d land" without sounding like i want everyone to know what i got?

@ogo79 You know, the chances of a person being born and named Mother 3, getting a job at Nintendo, becoming CEO of NOA and releasing a game called 'Reggie' are probably higher than Nintendo releasing Mother 3 in the west.

I'm pretty sure at this point Mother 3 is some kind of legend by this point, a mythical tale on the same level as Atlantis or El Dorado. People seek out whispers everywhere, and have many theories, but it remains just a legend.

So...Mother 3 has more of a chance to become an animated film?

I sense something big happening with Mother 3.

Nah, Mother 3 will be an exclusive of the upcoming New Switch, so a regular Switch won't be able to run it.
