Does anyone else have problems playing 3D games with tank controls like the Tomb Raider games for the PSX?

Crazy dream time! Apparently waking up at 4:30 in the morning because of an ambulance going by is fuel for restless dozing and off-the-wall dreaming until one's alarm finally goes off.

The first dream was relatively small and stupid. I was on a day trip with my family to an alleged historic site by a river. It was really cool, I enjoyed it as I like history. However, a random turkey buzzard carrying a torch set one of the historic buildings on fire near me. Naturally I was singled out as an arsonist, even though I explained that the psycho bird had done it. (Really, who would believe that?) So I spent the remainder of the dream evading the police and trying to catch the psycho bird to prove I didn't do it.

The second dream was much cooler, though I don't remember as many details. In a setting that's a mix of X-Men and action movies like The Matrix and Underworld, my fellow "Gifted" (people with powers) and I were storming a safe house for criminals on the hunt for a horrible crime lord. My abilities consisted of being an expert assassin/marksman (I had control over the path of the bullets, or something like that), and for being an adept pyromancer (with the ability to generate lightning as well, think Avatar: The Last Airbender). I was also very skilled at hand-to-hand combat and could heal from most wounds pretty quickly.

Anyway, we managed to raid the safe house, there was a lot of blood/action/graphical content that culminated in me pinning down (literally) our main source of information. I was about to start interrogating him when...my alarm went off.

...I wonder if the pyromancy idea didn't come from my first dream though.

Sounds like that bird had its revenge for Thanksgiving.

@Tyranexx I wanna say I watched a bit of an anime that was a lot like what you were describing in the second dream. Because of course.

A turkey buzzard (or vulture) is a bit different from the Thanksgiving turkey variety. They're pretty common around here. No idea how one snuck into my dreams.

@CanisWolfred: Now I'm curious. Which anime? I've been meaning to get back into watching some of it again.

@Tyranexx Can't put my finger on it, actually. Probably an LN adaption, which...isn't a promising prospect, on average...

^For once, though, it kind of deserved it.

Yeah, I like Overwatch. I'm hoping that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild wins Game of the Year 2017. (Going off of what I've seen from games coming in 2017.)

Eh, I'm just not a fan of FPS games...or game award shows. I mean, Pokemon Go isn't bad, but...it's nowhere near as great as Generations....>_>

Final Fantasy, the long delayed Last Guardian, Zelda Breath of the Wild, possibly a Mario game if rumors are true...
I'm missing some big release for next year, right? I don't keep track of PS or Xbox's releases.

Well, I went to take a post-brunch, pre-linner nap that went a little too long, and had a really weird dream, about a model-ship-obsessed Butt-Pirate Captain who was talked into sending her latest flagship on a solo mission against a lust demon, who was trying to infiltrate a bus full of catholic school children who were on their way to the mall for Black Friday, by giving their main chaperone (who was also the bus driver) the worst case of blue-balls imaginable, while lying to the kids, telling them it was a fatal illness that could only be cured by some weird herb they could buy at some hippy store at the mall they were already on their way to in the first place.

I'd like to take this moment and mention that my family and I were at this mall, looking for furniture deals, and I got to see an old friend from High School (who's girlfriend never liked me, I guess, I don't actually have a clue who these people are supposed to be) at the jewerly store. We also got to play spectator/scared-$#!+less helpless bystanders during the ensuing chaos, narrowly avoid the bus that was now being driven by a 13-year-old schoolgirl, and nearly having a Titanic moment when the Butt-Pirates somehow managed to turn the parking lot into a raging river deep enough to allow for this massive battleship to perform combat menuevers.

Naturally, the demon sunk her battleship, the school children save their teacher, and the Captain got really wet.

After analyzing this dream for...I dunno, 2 minutes? I think I figured out what it's supposed to mean:

• I really miss my Gundam models
• I really want to play Overwatch
• I really should keep on top of my daily inhaler schedule so I know I'm taking it when I should
• I need to check the mail to see if my Black Friday packages came yet
• I shouldn't have put off my shower this morning (plus I still gotta do the dishes, too)
• I also miss my High school classmates, I guess
• I could really use a new chair
• Oh yeah, and I guess I need to lay off the porn a little...

...now if you'll excuse me, I'm late for linner. It's only the second most important meal of the day!
