Saw episode 1 of Star Fox the animated series again. I vaguely recall being put off by the 'deadpan' style it seemed to be going for - everything seemed a little lifeless at the beginning. It really worked hard to create a sense of atmosphere, though. I love it, hope they continue to make more. At least enough to get a full storyline out (unlike a certain comic-based fan attempt at creating a serious story within the Star Fox mythos from a your or so back).
Finally managed to get streaming working for me again, and on Youtube...So I'll be doing that more often now, just gotta figure out if I can stream online multiplayer games...

Keep it PG-13-ish.
@Pikmin22 My luck doesn't seem to run out this year, huh? Nintendo just announced a $100 New 3DS for Black Friday! I'll be picking up one, so that means I'll be getting both a PS4 and a New 3DS this year! Whoop!
Not to mention that I got a perfect on the hardest physics test this semester. All these good news is what I want right now since my life isn't going as well as I want it to right now.
Excuse me while I scream in a pillow.

I have a question. If I were to make a statement about a picture, for example, Sonic jumps on Mario and knocking him out, and I see a couple more pictures like that by the same person, and I made a statement saying "This person is such a fanboy", does that make me "triggered" just because I make an assumed statement about something? Especially when I was never even making a big deal over something that small, and I was never bothered by it?
It seems you can't clarify anything with anyone on the Internet.....I know that I should ignore it, but I don't like leaving people with any wrong impressions about anything I say.
On a Different topic, I can't stand Sonic Unleashed, I even went into it with an open mind, and it was hard to control.
To answer your first question: No, that just makes you oblivious to common internet conversation. No one says "this person is such a fanboy!" in a positive context, at least, not on the internet. In fact, most things that end with "-boy" are intended to perjorative. You would come off as sounding combative. You could just say "this person is clearly a fan of Sonic the Hedgehog". It would be descriptive, and considering the context you've described, the evidence for your reasoning should be easy to identify, and the user might even appreciate someone noticing.
TL;DR - Most everyone likes being a "fan". Hardly anyone likes being a "fanboy".
I wouldn't feel too bad about it, mind you, people are pretty bad in general when it comes to wording...basically anything they say. Not just online stuff. That's why friends are important. Even if you say something wrong to them, they might still trust you enough to infer something closer to what you intended. When you're dealing with strangers, it's like you need a degree in psychology and social mediation in order to safely naviigate the social minefield...
