Why? As a moderator, that is literally the worst possible situation for you. That's like working at a Wal-Mart as a Janitor and hoping the toilets start flooding the bathrooms.

Because everyone wouldn't shut up about the NX, as if it's the greatest thing to ever exist. I just want them all to be trolled. xp

I think the unusually long period from announcement to reveal may have left some people with unrealistic expectations for the console. I can already see the "I waited a year and a half for this???" and "I hate Nintendo forever" posts.

Again, it sounds fun until there are approximately 300 more posts to clean up by the time you're done deleting the last 200 explitive-filled rageposts. I am impressed TBD (and possibly Lz, I can't remember if he was a mod in 2012) didn't go completely bonkers when Nintendo finally revealed the Wii U, and promptly put their foot in their mouth by showing off Nintendoland way longer than necessary (Granted, those were two separate events, but hey).

I'm sure Joey can handle the hordes of angry people.

Well, hopefully he will, every other mod will be strangely absent during that period of time.

This will probably be one of those times where people go in expecting the best thing they've ever seen in their lives and end up in disappointment. I don't expect anything except what the console looks like and some details. I don't expect any games except maybe The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and MAYBE a Mario title or something which I find a little unlikely. I think Nintendo will then reveal more stuff about the NX in something like a Nintendo Direct. And some of what I said I'm unsure if I even expect that. I'm also still excited.

Nintendo Switch looks amazing, the preview definitely exceeded my expectations! Also, I think we'll be getting a Nintendo Switch Direct either at the end of this year or the start of next year. It looks like it'll have a good library and that makes me very excited!

I had some misgivings, but the Nintendo Switch looks like a fun piece of technology!

Also, there's Skyrim. 8D I've wanted that on a Nintendo system for years.

There are a lot of game companies that are gonna support the Nintendo Switch right now, hopefully they'll continue to do so.

More importantly, it's portable Skyrim from a company that isn't notorious for selling monstrously overpriced hardware!
