Topic: Sooo Obama got the Nobel Peace Prize this week

I could see Barack Obama winning it later if he would actually fix the terrible economy, but not as soon as he becomes president.

I agree with Clickity, he does not deserve the Nobel Peace Prize this early.

I don't think you guys realise just how big the collective sigh of relief was in the rest of the world when Obama, and not the other dude, won the election.

That in itself is worthy of the peace prize.

then why is the peace prize going to Obama, when it should (according to that viewpoint) rightly be going to over half of the voting citizens of the U.S. (or over half of the electoral college if you'd like to get picky)? after all, if anyone's deserving of an honor for Obama just having taken office, it should be going to the people who actually cast their votes to get him in there.

i almost want to start a "what golden girl is the hottest" but i feel the arguments on it would get so heated that the admins would probably have to lock it/ban a few accounts.

Good for him, but the amount of trust that I have in him being a good president is very low.

Amazing, you don't even know what a facist is! Fascism is the extreme right, where business intrests call ALL the shots in the nation. Sounds more like Bush Jr. than Obama. Obama's polcies lean way more to left with national health care and regulating big buisness.
