I once dropped my DS Lite on the ground in a puddle during a rainstorm. It was in a carrying case and didn't seem to be affected, so I wasn't that concerned about it.
Hmm...I had some DS games in the pocket of my swimming trunks and went swimming for about 15 minutes in a pool. I got out and 15 more minutes later I realized that I had forgotten to take them out of my pocket before getting in the pool, and that now they weren't there anymore. I looked in the pool and sure enough, they were sitting there at the bottom. After fishing them out and letting them dry, they miraculously worked.
I also left my Game Boy Advance out in the rain once. It wasn't out there very long but it refused to work for about 2 days after that.
If you add me, I need to at least know you or I won't add you back.
Nope. I never let my 3DS get near water or anything. I always gotta supervise make sure it's safely distant from liquids. It's like a kid wants to go to a pool but he can't because it requires adult supervision so he gets his dad or something and the dad doesn't wanna go because he can't swim but he's going anyway because he wants the kid to be happy.. OR SOMETHING.
My 3DS and my xperia play at splash mountain. SPLASH!
My 3DS remained dry for some reason, but the phone was soaked to the chip (luckily both were turned off). Other than that, no. But it happens to my mom every now and then in the bath room.
Question #186: Have you ever dropped an electronic device in water?
Nope I never have mainly cause I am careful around water with my electronic devices. I did however drop a cup of water onto my cell phone. I just come in from working outside in the hot summer weather and I grabbed one of those large plastic Taco Bell cups and filled it with water and some how it slipped from my hands and poured all over my left leg which had my cell phone in the pocket. Needless to say I needed a new phone after that.

I one time went swimming in a puddle (because it had rained so much where I was at the puddles were big enough to swim in (actually we even went canoeing in the puddles!!!! lol)), and I forgot my phone was in my pocket!!!! Unfortunately, no amount of rice could bring it back from where it went!!!! lol

I've fallen in water before. I tend to malfunction when that happens.

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.
My first digital camera (a Canon I was quite fond of) was evidently built like a tank, because I dropped it down a metal flight of stairs--banging and denting the metal body out of shape--yet it continued to take perfect pictures. I also submerged it in a glass of water by accident and, after drying for a day, it came back and on worked normally.
Yet, like a video game boss with one fatal flaw, it was to meet its demise at the hands of something less dramatic. My girlfriend of that time took the camera in her bag to visit friends and a bit of some beauty product leak onto it from a partly unscrewed bottle. That was it; even after trying to clean it and let it dry, there was no bringing the old machine back to life.
